- The boat believed to have struck and killed 15-year-old Ella Adler in Biscayne Bay over the weekend has been found by Florida Fish and Wildlife officers.
All on board needs to be charged for not reporting this criminal act.
They will have to reenact to see if her weight was felt by ppl on board I would assume he’ll say he never felt a thing

I believe that mayday call was made from the vessel she was on, not from the boat that hit her.

It's owner is cooperating? That statement seems a bit inappropriate, considering they had to hunt for the boat post accident?
Did they knowingly leave a crime scene? This means they were Intoxicated or under the influence of something which should be part of the charges if it is determined that they are at fault for this accident.
That's usually the case with rich FL kids that borrow daddies boat. They buzz kayakers and divers all the Fing time, coast guard does F all about them.
Does anyone know if the girl was in the water and hard to see or standing up being towed when she was hit. If She was just in the water waiting to be towed she could have been very hard to see. These two situations are very different. It is possible to hit a small object with a boat and not know if was anything of significance. Let’s not put this guy in jail until we know the facts.
I been going over this in my mind, did the boat driver even know he hit someone… but in either scenario, the console boat was too close to the ski/tow boat if it hit its skier…

I agree to a certain extent, she would have been hard to see at a distance, but when they got close enough to run over her, they certainly would have seen her.
That’s why I hold my board in the air, to make sure everyone can see me, at least until the boat gets back to me.

How do you know the operator of the boat is a criminal? Has it occurred to you that he/she may not even know they hit something when it happened? sounds like some of these people commenting have never been on a boat. saturday was very windy, and very choppy in parts of bay, moreso in more exposed areas. it would be hard to see a random person floating in the water. especially not expecting to see one. it'd be easy to not see or know anything happened on a day like that. maybe they did, though, but damn, kinda stupid to automatically assume they did.

No chance of getting a DUI blood test result now..... but this boat had others on it too so will need some witness interviews from the passengers.
Whats sad is, the boat driver could possibly have got off criminal liability due to the freak nature of the accident, and if they culd have stopped in time.... but the fact that they ran away and didn't stop to help the poor girl is crazy, they should be in prison for this.

Actually this is true. When you choose to tow a boarder 30 feet behind your boat, you ate creating a known hazard. Flags on rope, raised flags on boat , orange buoy all required.@@TheFrogfeeder
