It's both their fault. It takes two to tango. I know a lot of men want to say she cheated and so on. That may be true. If it is, she was 100% wrong. But I hope those same men also consider Tom's wanting to continue to play football instead of keeping his promise to his family to retire and be with them more. Divorce is always painful, even for the person choosing it. I’d venture to say that it can be even MORE difficult for the one who made the decision. It feels like a death and you have to grieve a life you lost. That doesn’t mean you regret it though, but it hurts just the same. Nobody gets married planning to ever end up divorced.
