@@plugg976 I'd highly recommend the tactile digital triggers, the normal clicky ones are good but just don't have the same clicky feel and sound as the tac ones. Really useful on CoD

I just put on the rise 4 today and it works perfectly. Now im thinking of buying the custom triggers and the interchangeable thumb sticks. If you could would you please make a video adding the two attachments to a rise 4 controller. It would be very helpful if you could thank you.

I added those to mine also. But had to put spray adhesive on the back of the strip. Cause if you push down to hard the strip moves. Just a helpful tip.
Did you fit the normal clikcy or tactile? They shouldn't move that's what the little plastic piece is for to keep everything in place, they didn't used to add that to the kit but do now
@@CraigsChannel ohh ok. I have the clicky ones. Not the newer ones. I’ve had mine for like 3 months. But the adhesive works great. First time I used them the strip moved. Than added the adhesive and now the are great.
@@bernardoreyes8343 Yeah you mustn't have the little extra bit, I'm pretty sure that's why they added it, if you fast forward to the bit where I open the triggers and put the buttons on you'll see the little new plastic piece, maybe drop them a message and ask if they could send you the bit?
There's only two versions of these the normal digital triggers and these tactile ones which click. The screw driver and prying tool come with the kit mate, they always add them to all their products 😁
No not loud, do you not wear headphones anyways which will make them pretty much impossible to hear. If you do get digital triggers make sure they're the tactile ones, they're the best in my opinion. I've a video on both the regular clicky and tac ones

I love the mouse click, but to be honest can't hear them when I've got my headphones on 😄 they feel really good as well. If it's FPS games you play you'll really enjoy them. Which back buttons you gone for the 2 or 4 button kit?

Great tutorial can't wait to try. One question tho, if I just want L1 and R1 to be clicky I have to follow every step and make L2 R2 clicky as well right? Lastly, clicky and tactile are the same thing just different names right?
Unfortunately you can't just have L1 and R1, you have to have all 4 buttons as they're together on both sides. The clicky and tactile are different, the tactile give you a more clicky feel and sounds like you're pressing a mouse, I prefer the tactile version
I'm super shocked the haven't added a security screw, they used to always add them on their other pads and it was so annoying when people asked me to fix pads for them, I couldn't get them open 👎

Hey so a few questions, 1) I was looking to buy the triggers on amazon, but I only saw the face clickly kit for BDM 010 controllers and since there is no hair triggers for the 10 does the BDM 20 hair triggers work with the BDM 10 controller? And 2) Is what is the difference between the clickly and tactile hair triggers? I know there's obviously the difference in how they may feel but in terms of performance which would you recommend for fps titles? Thanks and keep up the great work!
The front clicky as in X O etc is only for 010 model, tbh I'd only recommend that kit if you play fighting games or something. As for the clicky and tactile, the tac feels much nicer, it had a really nice click and sounds great, kind of like a mouse click... that kit that says 020 works on both models
@@CraigsChannel Got them today, and the install was easy if you know what you're doing. The difference in how your bumpers and triggers feel compared to the stock controller is insane. I like testing performance of things in a numerical sense, so I did 33 human bench mark reaction time tests to get an average time of 233 ms w the regular controller and 206 ms on average with the new one which is roughly a 13% improvement in reaction time so I'll just round up to 15% for me. Great product and I would definitely recommend it to my fellow fps heads!
Hey Craig, I was wondering which of the two versions has less resistance, or which switches are easier to press? Tactile or Normal? Also is R1/L1 any harder/easier to actuate than it was with the original buttons? Thanks!
They're both super easy to press but I'd always recommend the tactile ones, they're my personal favourites. I had the standard Clicky when the first came out but after I think it was 6 months I didn't get any kind of click feel or feel, other than a tiny press down. I've had these tactile ones since just before I released the video how ever many months that was and they're still like day one
I believe they're either for the mic or controller speaker. If you don't use any of them like me they won't be a miss. Have you fitted the one below the battery? If you look at 4:10 you'll see the other one on the bottom of the pad tucked away
When you're fitting the rod it's best to press the trigger down a little, you'll know when it's in as you'll feel the little push. It just sounds like you've got it slightly off centre when it's in
I cancelled my preorder after the beta but can honestly say this is the best cod for a very long time. The re make of dome is the best map I’ve ever seen
Yeah its fun John but there are a few issues, on harcore mode frags are just so OP, you throw and pretty much guaranteed a kill. I love the movement on this one, it's just like MW but feels faster because of the FOV slider
@@CraigsChannel The movement is actually slower because of the nerf to slide cancels but for console players it’ll feel faster because of the added fov definitely. Unfortunately for us pc players it’s worse 😂
Well lad, do you play Warzone with this? If so what is driving vehicles like with it? My last PS4 extremerate controller wouldn’t let me accelerate with the sliding trigger stops :/
Yeah I use this for WZ and Rebirth, it's full throttle all the time so you don't have to worry about going slow. I've been using these kind of digital triggers since the PS4 😁👍

Hey I installed this to my ps5 controller and it worked for a few seconds but now just flashes orange twice and turns off, I’ve tried a lot of fixed but nothing works any help??
Since you already know how to take the part apart you're good to fit the triggers, you'll just have to be careful with the ribbon cable. I did an install video a couple of months ago showing you how to install both at the same time, but these as the actually really mouse clicky sounding ones

my l1 and r1 don't click, update if u have the new blue controller don't install the black bits on r1 and l1 or they won't work also u need the black bits for the l2 and r2 for them to click or else they won't
I've not yet fitted digital triggers to a 020, my Nova Pink pad is still in the boxed. I've seen on extremerates video you can install them to the 020 pad with the newer black pieces they've added, you put the piece inside R2 rather than holding the buttons down. To be honest I might try getting a video up tomorrow to help people out if they're getting stuck
What’s the difference with the hair line triggers and tactical ? This would be the perfect controller with the mods as well with rapid recoil ect where did you get the extreme rate accessory’s from ? Great tutorial tho bud 👍🏻
Amazon dude, everything is on there. The tactile ones have a mouse sounding click and just feel much better than the regular clicky. My pad combo is tacs and back button kit, I've got the 4 button kit but only use 2 buttons

Yeah them two mods are ideal for CoD. I think that's the combo most people go for. If the gameplay on the end is the Subpen submarine one that's even the game first came out, not sure what my highest steak is since then, I've been trying to get past 20 kills on Rebirth that's my challenge
Yeah of course, I've got the digital triggers on 2 of my back button controllers. I'd recommend the tactile triggers though, I did a video on them a while ago and another 1 month ago, maybe check that out as I prefer them over the regular clicky

Hi.on extremerates offical video on how to install theses, they cut the electrical wires to the motors. To stop some sort of unwanted sound. Would you advise doing this? And what is the unwanted noise they talking about? They said this was an optional part of the instal. Thank you in advance for you reply.
I'm 99% it'll he the haptic feedback, but if you go into your controller options I turn mine off anyways, I don't even use vibrate. Guess it's up to you if you'd like to cut them, personally I left mine
Hey Craig, Im looking for the Extremerate Trigger installation video for the BDM-020 models. Says search for it on amazon but all the videos use different parts.
I'm not 100% if the digital triggers work on the 020, I know they work on the 10, but don't know if the 20 uses different parts. Only thing you could do is try and if they don't work get a refund then wait for the 20 version

How are the triggers holding up Craig? Still working? Mine is coming today but a bit worried they will only last a few months an play up…. Do these click trigger actually give you an advantage in warzone?
Buttons are fine, quite a few of my mates have them as well with no issues. Which ones you gone for regular clicky or tactile? My regular ones lost their click after about 6 months but still worked, just didn't feel like when I first bought them. My tactile ones are still as new. As for do they make you better I'd say yes and no, they'll make you shoot instantly but only you can make yourself a better player. I'd say I'm above average player and when I'm playing with people always give them advice if they need it, like centering, meaning having your crosshair higher, when I watch people they seem to aim at the floor. Back buttons are a must if you play WZ, you'll be able to slide and jump round corners then aim at the same time. You'll have to let me know how you get on when they arrive

Yeah tac ones are definitely my favourite, don't get me wrong the normal Clicky do the job I just prefer the tacs. The way I recommend is fit the triggers then the back button kit, but since you've done it the other way round just be careful with the ribbons, you've got an idea how it all works so you should be fine 👍

I ordered the Tac trigger kit and I am following your video and a couple of the little plastic pieces look different then the ones that you are installing and I didn't have a warranty card in my plastic case. How can I contact the manufacturer to get issue resolved and the correct parts sent out to me?
You'll have the newer kit, they've changed the bits since I did this video as there's now two versions of Dualsense the 010 and 020. You don't really need the plastic bit in, but you can install it if you like, it's the same way just looks different. Do you know of your pads a 010 or 020?
@@dabutcher1380 Everything will work on your 10, somebody earlier actually had the same question. You don't have to fit the plastic piece, I didn't when I fitted my first kit and worked fine
Hi there! Great video! I got to this video due to half way through the install on the company video, it didn’t feel like the click buttons were working correctly. I think I may be missing a part… At 9 minutes 45 seconds in this video, the small riser type piece that fits behind the click buttons to raise them. I looked at the beginning of the video and they didn’t seem to be attached to the pieces removed from the plastic parts, I can’t find any similar pieces in the box or on the controller, and I’m thinking I missed something. You go into good detail on them from that time stamp but I just can’t seem to locate the pieces. The company’s video doesn’t mention it. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Is your pad a 010 or 020? That little piece you don't have to use, it's just they recommended it. They've also changed the kit a little since I did this video as there's now two models of controllers

As I said, it didn’t feel right after placing the button pad and rebuilding the assembly (prior to attaching back to the main board). Seems like it should at least make the *click* sound at that point but it didn’t seem like it was even hitting it. Definitely not as much movement as you show in the video. Meh… I’ll have to experiment further. By any chance (& please don’t tear apart a whole controller, just if you had to guess), if I had to fabricate a piece to put behind the switch, would you know the depth needed? @@CraigsChannel I had the exact ones shown to snap off in yours and the company’s video. It looked like I had everything shown right up until that part. In the video I was watching, the later portion for BD 10 here ruclips.net/video/JSpm7piCqgQ/видео.html (I did note it appears to be the older black and cream style, not the blue that I have, which is another reason I was glad your video was available) they don’t use the part either) at around the 37 minute mark, they don’t use the piece. After I saw your video, I looked to see if there was an updated version but couldn’t locate one. If you DM them on Twitter they'll gey straight back to you. Yeah they've changed ribbons from white to blue and the screws are a different colour, that's how you can tell your pad version. Like I say it's not the end of the world not having the bits in, when they first released the kit they never even came with them. Unfortunately not, the little ribbon bit comes in one single part, so doesn't seperate L1 and L2, they're both on the same thing Michael. It's not very common you hear people using L1/R1 to aim, with controller being so big these days, people like me with mini hands can't do it 😄 I'm not sure if you've seen the back button kit, that could be a mod for you, I've a few videos on the channel
This is the 010 pad but if you check my other videos I've got the 020 with install. The other version is thr tactile buttons they've more of a click sound

@@karundutt Yeah my bad, I thought this was my Clicky video, you're right it's the tactile one. These are better than the Clicky, they're technically both called Clicky but these tacs are much nicer. As for installing this one on the video is the 010, the way you can tell is you know when I popped R1 and L1 out, the screws are black on the 010 and silver on the 020. I've got these fitted with the RISE4 but tbh only use 2 buttons, 4 is just overkill for my game style

I've never bothered messing with the springs, I've heard people say they snap but Sony upgraded them on the 020 model. Yeah the tactile triggers are really good 😎
Sounds like a BDM-030. I've literally just got one last week, the galaxy purple, I've been meaning to do a video for the triggers and back buttons. No idea why Sony keep bringing different controllers out! Unfortunately you'll have to send your kit back and order a BDM-030 one, the way you can also tell what controller you have is by pressing R2 or L2, if you see a little spring it's a 30

Did you go for these ones or the regular digital triggers? My paddles snapped after 2 months, but they've came out with 3 different versions since they were first released. I didnt think they were doing metal ones, somebody mentioned it and sent a link but they've not been released in the UK yet. I did a video a day or two ago showing their latest back buttons with the newer style grip and stronger back buttons

@@GeneralStealth Yeah turn the triggers off, you won't be able to use them as they work on pressing down and having leverage, with these they're either on or off. Maybe people are pressing them to hard? I hope they last! Good with extremerate is you get 12 months warranty
Hey, so I got mine yesterday and unfortunately my L2 is constantly sending a signal being pressed. R2 and all other buttons work normally. Is there any way of fixing this or do I have to replace it? The button isn't stuck or anything. I also noticed that my R2 is noticeably clickier than L2. is that normal or an indicator somethings off? Thank you
It's not right, I'd open the pad and check the L2 cable hadn't lifted up or something where the triggers go, or maybe check the little piece of plastic you add to L2 doesn't have some extra plastic on it from the mold
The trigger only goes down a tiny bit when you hold it, but yeah you can hold them, say you're on CoD and have a machine gun, hold and it'll keep firing

Off the top of my head I don't think they work on the 020 kit. I'm sure on Amazon it says only for the 010 when you buy them. Have you only got a 020? I had to borrow my friends 020 when I did the 2.0 back button kit as I've still not been able to buy a 020, I've got like 4 010 pads 😄
@@donmayes7358 The most I've had on one controller was front clicky buttons, the digital ones so like the Dpad, O, X etc are all a click, digital triggers and the back button. The LED kit I just keep on my spare controller

Yeah you'll have to turn the haptic off, that's the whole idea of these you only press the trigger slightly down to engaged it, with the haptic you need the full motion

Was it the clicky or tactile clicky? Is R2 making a click noise or can you feel a click when it's been installed? Have you turned off adaptive triggers on the PlayStation?
@@CraigsChannel it’s just the clicky ones. Yeah it sounds exactly like my L2 which works completely fine. Adaptive triggers are off as well. Is it maybe something loose? Will I have to take it apart again?
Yeah think you'll have to take that side apart and see if something isn't in place, it could even be the cog, you might be a tooth out, it needs to be pretty much bag on or it doesn't get full motion

I always recommend people fit the digital triggers first then the back buttons, but if you've fitted the back buttons first it'll just be a little more tricky but I've faith in you 😁

You never know you might like the normal.ones! I just ordered the tacs, I used to use the normal ones all the time. I've got both and still use the normal the odd times but its mainly the tacs. Hope your new ones arrive soon for you 😁
Have you got the clicky or tactile version? My original clicky stopped having a click kind of feel but still worked, I don't think them switches are meant to last ages. If you've only had it since December drop extremerate a message on Twitter they'll send you a replacement as you're still under your 12 months warranty

I just put on the rise 4 today and it works perfectly. Now im thinking of buying the custom triggers and the interchangeable thumb sticks. If you could would you please make a video adding the two attachments to a rise 4 controller. It would be very helpful if you could thank you.

Nice vid. I don’t like these newer ones. They break a lot easier. Nice click but to fragile. The V1 has a stronger feel and shorter travel.
I've only been using them a week so can't comment on the longevity. I hope they do last, I just like the whole click feel of them

I added those to mine also. But had to put spray adhesive on the back of the strip. Cause if you push down to hard the strip moves. Just a helpful tip.
Did you fit the normal clikcy or tactile? They shouldn't move that's what the little plastic piece is for to keep everything in place, they didn't used to add that to the kit but do now
@@CraigsChannel ohh ok. I have the clicky ones. Not the newer ones. I’ve had mine for like 3 months. But the adhesive works great. First time I used them the strip moved. Than added the adhesive and now the are great.
@@bernardoreyes8343 Yeah you mustn't have the little extra bit, I'm pretty sure that's why they added it, if you fast forward to the bit where I open the triggers and put the buttons on you'll see the little new plastic piece, maybe drop them a message and ask if they could send you the bit?

There's only two versions of these the normal digital triggers and these tactile ones which click.
The screw driver and prying tool come with the kit mate, they always add them to all their products 😁

No not loud, do you not wear headphones anyways which will make them pretty much impossible to hear.
If you do get digital triggers make sure they're the tactile ones, they're the best in my opinion. I've a video on both the regular clicky and tac ones

I love the mouse click, but to be honest can't hear them when I've got my headphones on 😄 they feel really good as well. If it's FPS games you play you'll really enjoy them.

Great tutorial can't wait to try. One question tho, if I just want L1 and R1 to be clicky I have to follow every step and make L2 R2 clicky as well right? Lastly, clicky and tactile are the same thing just different names right?
Unfortunately you can't just have L1 and R1, you have to have all 4 buttons as they're together on both sides.
The clicky and tactile are different, the tactile give you a more clicky feel and sounds like you're pressing a mouse, I prefer the tactile version

I have confirmed you can put tactical triggers on scuf reflex for ps5. No security screws just more ribbons and wires to be careful off..👍
I'm super shocked the haven't added a security screw, they used to always add them on their other pads and it was so annoying when people asked me to fix pads for them, I couldn't get them open 👎

Yeah it's just a simple press and you'll be shooting much faster. I just did a video on these with the 020 pad

I'd recommend the tactile ones over the Clicky, they're both called Clicky triggers but ones the tactile, just give a nicer feel and click
Hey so a few questions, 1) I was looking to buy the triggers on amazon, but I only saw the face clickly kit for BDM 010 controllers and since there is no hair triggers for the 10 does the BDM 20 hair triggers work with the BDM 10 controller? And 2) Is what is the difference between the clickly and tactile hair triggers? I know there's obviously the difference in how they may feel but in terms of performance which would you recommend for fps titles? Thanks and keep up the great work!
The front clicky as in X O etc is only for 010 model, tbh I'd only recommend that kit if you play fighting games or something.
As for the clicky and tactile, the tac feels much nicer, it had a really nice click and sounds great, kind of like a mouse click... that kit that says 020 works on both models
@@CraigsChannel Got them today, and the install was easy if you know what you're doing. The difference in how your bumpers and triggers feel compared to the stock controller is insane. I like testing performance of things in a numerical sense, so I did 33 human bench mark reaction time tests to get an average time of 233 ms w the regular controller and 206 ms on average with the new one which is roughly a 13% improvement in reaction time so I'll just round up to 15% for me. Great product and I would definitely recommend it to my fellow fps heads!

They're both super easy to press but I'd always recommend the tactile ones, they're my personal favourites. I had the standard Clicky when the first came out but after I think it was 6 months I didn't get any kind of click feel or feel, other than a tiny press down. I've had these tactile ones since just before I released the video how ever many months that was and they're still like day one

I believe they're either for the mic or controller speaker. If you don't use any of them like me they won't be a miss.

11:50 I bought 2 new controllers and both had the problem of having the metal shaft not fit and when I did get one in, it was to tight to even move
When you're fitting the rod it's best to press the trigger down a little, you'll know when it's in as you'll feel the little push. It just sounds like you've got it slightly off centre when it's in

Yeah its fun John but there are a few issues, on harcore mode frags are just so OP, you throw and pretty much guaranteed a kill. I love the movement on this one, it's just like MW but feels faster because of the FOV slider
@@CraigsChannel The movement is actually slower because of the nerf to slide cancels but for console players it’ll feel faster because of the added fov definitely. Unfortunately for us pc players it’s worse 😂
Well lad, do you play Warzone with this? If so what is driving vehicles like with it? My last PS4 extremerate controller wouldn’t let me accelerate with the sliding trigger stops :/
Yeah I use this for WZ and Rebirth, it's full throttle all the time so you don't have to worry about going slow. I've been using these kind of digital triggers since the PS4 😁👍

Since you already know how to take the part apart you're good to fit the triggers, you'll just have to be careful with the ribbon cable. I did an install video a couple of months ago showing you how to install both at the same time, but these as the actually really mouse clicky sounding ones

my l1 and r1 don't click, update if u have the new blue controller don't install the black bits on r1 and l1 or they won't work
also u need the black bits for the l2 and r2 for them to click or else they won't
I've not yet fitted digital triggers to a 020, my Nova Pink pad is still in the boxed. I've seen on extremerates video you can install them to the 020 pad with the newer black pieces they've added, you put the piece inside R2 rather than holding the buttons down. To be honest I might try getting a video up tomorrow to help people out if they're getting stuck
What’s the difference with the hair line triggers and tactical ? This would be the perfect controller with the mods as well with rapid recoil ect where did you get the extreme rate accessory’s from ?

Yeah them two mods are ideal for CoD. I think that's the combo most people go for.

Yeah of course, I've got the digital triggers on 2 of my back button controllers. I'd recommend the tactile triggers though, I did a video on them a while ago and another 1 month ago, maybe check that out as I prefer them over the regular clicky

Hi.on extremerates offical video on how to install theses, they cut the electrical wires to the motors. To stop some sort of unwanted sound. Would you advise doing this? And what is the unwanted noise they talking about? They said this was an optional part of the instal. Thank you in advance for you reply.
I'm 99% it'll he the haptic feedback, but if you go into your controller options I turn mine off anyways, I don't even use vibrate. Guess it's up to you if you'd like to cut them, personally I left mine

Normally when this kit doesn't work people have fitted the L1/L2 ribbon cable slightly wrong, double check they first off
Hey Craig, Im looking for the Extremerate Trigger installation video for the BDM-020 models. Says search for it on amazon but all the videos use different parts.
I'm not 100% if the digital triggers work on the 020, I know they work on the 10, but don't know if the 20 uses different parts. Only thing you could do is try and if they don't work get a refund then wait for the 20 version

How are the triggers holding up Craig? Still working? Mine is coming today but a bit worried they will only last a few months an play up…. Do these click trigger actually give you an advantage in warzone?
Buttons are fine, quite a few of my mates have them as well with no issues. Which ones you gone for regular clicky or tactile? My regular ones lost their click after about 6 months but still worked, just didn't feel like when I first bought them. My tactile ones are still as new.
As for do they make you better I'd say yes and no, they'll make you shoot instantly but only you can make yourself a better player. I'd say I'm above average player and when I'm playing with people always give them advice if they need it, like centering, meaning having your crosshair higher, when I watch people they seem to aim at the floor.
Back buttons are a must if you play WZ, you'll be able to slide and jump round corners then aim at the same time.

Yeah tac ones are definitely my favourite, don't get me wrong the normal Clicky do the job I just prefer the tacs.
The way I recommend is fit the triggers then the back button kit, but since you've done it the other way round just be careful with the ribbons, you've got an idea how it all works so you should be fine 👍

You've had the buttons bend? Are you using the little plastic piece to hold them into place? I wouldn't recommend glue

You'll have the newer kit, they've changed the bits since I did this video as there's now two versions of Dualsense the 010 and 020. You don't really need the plastic bit in, but you can install it if you like, it's the same way just looks different.

The blue one will be the 020, maybe add the little plastic pieces they're the newer shape ones for your model

Hi there! Great video! I got to this video due to half way through the install on the company video, it didn’t feel like the click buttons were working correctly. I think I may be missing a part… At 9 minutes 45 seconds in this video, the small riser type piece that fits behind the click buttons to raise them. I looked at the beginning of the video and they didn’t seem to be attached to the pieces removed from the plastic parts, I can’t find any similar pieces in the box or on the controller, and I’m thinking I missed something. You go into good detail on them from that time stamp but I just can’t seem to locate the pieces. The company’s video doesn’t mention it. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Is your pad a 010 or 020? That little piece you don't have to use, it's just they recommended it. They've also changed the kit a little since I did this video as there's now two models of controllers

As I said, it didn’t feel right after placing the button pad and rebuilding the assembly (prior to attaching back to the main board). Seems like it should at least make the *click* sound at that point but it didn’t seem like it was even hitting it. Definitely not as much movement as you show in the video.

By any chance (& please don’t tear apart a whole controller, just if you had to guess), if I had to fabricate a piece to put behind the switch, would you know the depth needed?

@@CraigsChannel I had the exact ones shown to snap off in yours and the company’s video. It looked like I had everything shown right up until that part.
In the video I was watching, the later portion for BD 10 here ruclips.net/video/JSpm7piCqgQ/видео.html (I did note it appears to be the older black and cream style, not the blue that I have, which is another reason I was glad your video was available) they don’t use the part either) at around the 37 minute mark, they don’t use the piece. After I saw your video, I looked to see if there was an updated version but couldn’t locate one.
I’m going to run through the whole set up, it’s not a huge bother, and worst case scenario I’ll contact the company.

Yeah they've changed ribbons from white to blue and the screws are a different colour, that's how you can tell your pad version.
Like I say it's not the end of the world not having the bits in, when they first released the kit they never even came with them.

Unfortunately not, the little ribbon bit comes in one single part, so doesn't seperate L1 and L2, they're both on the same thing Michael. It's not very common you hear people using L1/R1 to aim, with controller being so big these days, people like me with mini hands can't do it 😄

Yeah all the paddles have the same fitment, I snapped my v1 and messaged extremerate they sent me new ones out as you get a warranty

@@karundutt Yeah my bad, I thought this was my Clicky video, you're right it's the tactile one. These are better than the Clicky, they're technically both called Clicky but these tacs are much nicer.
As for installing this one on the video is the 010, the way you can tell is you know when I popped R1 and L1 out, the screws are black on the 010 and silver on the 020.
I've got these fitted with the RISE4 but tbh only use 2 buttons, 4 is just overkill for my game style

So glad I came across your channel. I just bought these and after watching this I'm confident that I can install them. How are your paddles holding up? I see that they just came out with metal ones so maybe in the future I'll get those.
Did you go for these ones or the regular digital triggers?
My paddles snapped after 2 months, but they've came out with 3 different versions since they were first released. I didnt think they were doing metal ones, somebody mentioned it and sent a link but they've not been released in the UK yet.
I did a video a day or two ago showing their latest back buttons with the newer style grip and stronger back buttons

@@CraigsChannel have a look on the link in your description mate, I clicked that and read the reviews! I might just order them, do you have to turn off adaptive triggers on the console to use it? Just incase the motors fuck up or anything like that?
@@GeneralStealth Yeah turn the triggers off, you won't be able to use them as they work on pressing down and having leverage, with these they're either on or off.
Maybe people are pressing them to hard? I hope they last! Good with extremerate is you get 12 months warranty
Hi i have recently installed these and now i am having constant clicking sound near my r2 button do u know how can i fix it?
Turn off your haptic in the controller options. That might work, but sounds like you've not lined the cog up on R2
Hey, so I got mine yesterday and unfortunately my L2 is constantly sending a signal being pressed. R2 and all other buttons work normally. Is there any way of fixing this or do I have to replace it? The button isn't stuck or anything. I also noticed that my R2 is noticeably clickier than L2. is that normal or an indicator somethings off? Thank you
It's not right, I'd open the pad and check the L2 cable hadn't lifted up or something where the triggers go, or maybe check the little piece of plastic you add to L2 doesn't have some extra plastic on it from the mold

Is your pad a 010 or 020?
Can you still hold down on the triggers and it would still work the same as any other game without the clicks
The trigger only goes down a tiny bit when you hold it, but yeah you can hold them, say you're on CoD and have a machine gun, hold and it'll keep firing

Yeah I love the feel of them, haven't used my normal Clickys since I got the tactile ones, my friend got his a little after mine and said the same, he prefers the tacs

Off the top of my head I don't think they work on the 020 kit. I'm sure on Amazon it says only for the 010 when you buy them.

I had to borrow my friends 020 when I did the 2.0 back button kit as I've still not been able to buy a 020, I've got like 4 010 pads 😄

Can you put the face button kit, led light kit and the back paddle kit all on one controller?
I did and I can’t get the led lights to change colors or the paddles to come on.
@@donmayes7358 The most I've had on one controller was front clicky buttons, the digital ones so like the Dpad, O, X etc are all a click, digital triggers and the back button. The LED kit I just keep on my spare controller
Just pick up a scuf reflex pro ps5 controller it comes with the regular pull triggers can I use this kit to install the tactical triggers?
Have they not put a security screw on the back? They did on the PS4 pads so you couldn't open them

If you check on the back they usually add a weird looking screw, hard to explain, just check them all and you'll see what I mean

The tactile have more of a mouse button click. I've a video on them as well as the regular ones.

Yeah you'll have to turn the haptic off, that's the whole idea of these you only press the trigger slightly down to engaged it, with the haptic you need the full motion

@@cooljaaz9813 No you'll not be able to use haptic, you won't be able to press the triggers down like you used to, that's the whole idea of these being digital triggers

Yeah you can fold them over, I've done it but just tell people to cut which ever pad they have so they don't get confused when installing them

@@CraigsChannel it’s just the clicky ones. Yeah it sounds exactly like my L2 which works completely fine. Adaptive triggers are off as well. Is it maybe something loose? Will I have to take it apart again?
Yeah think you'll have to take that side apart and see if something isn't in place, it could even be the cog, you might be a tooth out, it needs to be pretty much bag on or it doesn't get full motion

I always recommend people fit the digital triggers first then the back buttons, but if you've fitted the back buttons first it'll just be a little more tricky but I've faith in you 😁

You never know you might like the normal.ones! I just ordered the tacs, I used to use the normal ones all the time. I've got both and still use the normal the odd times but its mainly the tacs. Hope your new ones arrive soon for you 😁

Have you got the clicky or tactile version? My original clicky stopped having a click kind of feel but still worked, I don't think them switches are meant to last ages.
If you've only had it since December drop extremerate a message on Twitter they'll send you a replacement as you're still under your 12 months warranty

Did you message them on Twitter? I've honestly never known them to ignore anybody, their customer service is always a 10/10 I've only ever heard people say good things. Definitely drop them another message on there and let me know how you get on
My R1 and L1 feel a bit *^$&#&^ with this, is that normal? It is hard to feel a click
Did you get the Clicky or Tactile Clicky? They buttons should only go down slightly and you can feel the little kind of click, it's more R2 and L2 have the better feel
