However there are various negative reviews saying that the rubber under the mechanical buttons wear out within 3 to 5 months. So you have to open the controller back and and replace them. Do you have any idea of these issues? . Or heard about them change the system at all? As I really do want these ASAP. But I can't pay someone to replace the rubber for me every time they fail. Or can you recommend better ones for the ps5 dual sense controller Please? . Many thanks

I'd probably install the front Clicky, then trigger Clicky, then back button kit. I'm installing this kit to my other controller tomorrow, the one with Clicky triggers and back button, I just did a fresh install on a standard controller to show people who might just want this on their own. Scuf need to pull their finger out and start making Dualsense mods 😂
Touch wood I've never had an issue with anything yet, maybe I've been lucky with all their products! My friends I play with haven't mentioned anything either which is good 👍
How much tension is there to the new digital clicky buttons when compared to the original rubber membrane? As in how much force does it require to be pressed compared to orig? Thanks
They're stiffer, but not so much that they'd be hard to press... You just obviously need a little more force than the normal buttons as they just floppy rubber
I didn't even see this, my bad! Yeah you can have both together, I've got a couple of pads myself with the clicky along with the 2 button and 4 back button kit

Thanks man, yeah the mats is really cool, they sent me two in case one gets damaged. I've done one of their videos on their main channel, the transparent/translucent shell if you seen that? And I've been making videos with their products for over a year now on my channel, they send me stuff to test and make videos. But with them not speaking English that's why they've asked me to do some videos for their channel. Yeah the ribbon cables just go on top of each other, it was the same with the Dualshock 4 controller

Just installed the kit, thanks for the video really helped. I also installed some other companies metal buttons and they don’t have the slots for the rubber feet. Should I use the OE buttons instead? The buttons rattle around a lot, mostly the dpad the buttons are doable. I ordered their split dpad to replace the metal dpad but I really like the buttons. Any tips on how to reduce the rattle?
@@CraigsChannel No, I swapped them out with the OEM buttons and no more slop, thing I’ll just have to return the metal ones and get some from extreme themselves.

So I got the v2 face clicky kit for my bdm 020...I put the membrane on the d pad but it doesn't look like the pads came for the dpad there.....am I missing something?

I use them on CoD that's all I play as well. I've had digital triggers for a couple of years now so it's what I'm used to. The back buttons they've added extra plastic to the part on mine which snapped, I did a video on them and so far so good, but it's only been about a week or something. They lasted me 3 months before snapping

Somebody else asked me the same thing last night 😂 no luckily mine have all been fine, somebody did say they snapped their K1 button but eXtremerate sent them a replacement straight out, I never thought anybody would snap one! I know when people first got the back button kits they were accidentally pressing the buttons, but it seems after a few days maybes a week they've gotten used to it. Appreciate the nice words 😁

If you're like me and don't hit your control hard I can't see them breaking! I fitted digital trigger on my PS4 controller which I was using maybes 6hrs a day 5 days a week with no issues, I've now fitted them to my PS5 pad. This kit I didn't even know existed until somebody mentioned it. How they feeling on the fighting games? Have you seen the Dpad kit, I'm sure it's called the Dpad split so you've more control over it

There are so many mods being released I'm not sure my Dualsense will be able to handle them all 😂 so far digital triggers and back button, then I'll be fitting this to it later today. Also I need to test if the adjustable thumb sticks from the Dualshock 4 work on the Dualsense, that's another one I could make a video out of. People seem to love adjustable sticks for height and if they wear down, just swap them with new ones
I've installed face clicky buttons, digital tap triggers, and rise remap kit. For some reason my face buttons don't work when trying to start a game. In the PS5 home menu they work just fine. Any advice on what I could have done wrong. I've taken it apart and put it back together several times already

But your video saved my life...i saw it , immediately ordered my kit because i was so excited no soldering was needed...lol..BUT v2 of the kit is a little different, no independent rubber pieces for the directional, its all one piece of rubber, or contract piece...
@@CraigsChannel I installed the black rubber pieces that fit into the buttons and also the grey rubber pieces that have the black dots for the buttons. Am I missing something??
@@tonydryden3260 Yeah that's where you've gone wrong, you leave the grey bits off, if you check the video again I don't install them. Open the pad, remove them and you'll be working. I thought that might be the issue
I installed them but the when I screw the controller back together the buttons on the d-pad get stuck after like 1 click. I did not install the rubbery grey thing, only the 4 black things. I basically did everything like you did in the video.. hopefully you have any idea why it’s not working?
When you fitted the new button board did you make sure it was pressed into all the slots, meaning the tiny little bits that stick out to hold it right? As long as you didn't install the runners you shouldn't be having a problem

You did also make sure the Dpad was the right way yeah? Just theres a little bit on the bottom to make sure it's gone in the right way. I'm trying to think of reason it's not fitting, there isn't much to go wrong with them. You removed the original front button ribbon board and didn't put the new one ontop?
@@CraigsChannel sorry for the late reaction. I have received a replacement today and everything is working great now. Since I had to open it up anyway I also installed the split d-pad and all black button set. Going for the total blackout ;)
The digital front buttons are more for fighting games. They're not loud enough to keep the house awake though 😄 that's like saying the back buttons are loud, they just have a little click
I believe these ones work on the 010 and 020, but the tactile I think only works on the 010. Not sure if you seen my other video on the tactile version clicky but they're my favourite as they have a mouse click and feel

Sorry its my fault, I thought this comment was for the triggers not the front buttons, my bad! I only see the tiny thumbnail and thought it was the clicky triggers. After have a quick look on Amazon there, it seems the front clicky buttons only work on the 010 model pad, if you have a look they've got a tick next to 010 and a cross on the 020. Sorry again for my mix up

Me personally I'd try to install it to both models, but would never tell anybody on my channel to as I don't want to break any control pads 😄 if I break my own I'd just send it back to Sony and play dumb. Let me know how you get on 👍

I didn’t get the proper rubber grommets for the dpad I got all 8 same rubber for the circle buttons. Now my dpad gets stuck when I click it sometimes.

My knife is R3, I don't use the buttons for it, but I guess you could knife faster but only by a very short time probably not even noticeable

Can you try without the RISE kit.
It'll be an easy fix just need to find out what the issue is first
