This is my review of the Engo (2) eyewear. Glasses with built-in display. I was/am honestly incredibly possitively surprised by how well this functions! The ability to have your live training data right in front of you without it feeling the least clumpsy is pretty wild!

😲 Nice product!! It would be nice to attempt to capture on camera the glasses functioning to show more or less what you see while using them

Agreed! Did try, but I just couldn't fit the camera in the angle one's eye is compared to the glasses/projection 😅🙂

-The idea is super cool....BUT... the fitting is very bad for us runners with a small narrow nose and small head. It keeps slipping down and I can't "bend it" tight enough, so they fit properly during my run 🤨 --- for biking they are okay, as I am not bouncing and swinging my head 😊

You are almost 1 year late 🎉 me and peter michael already using them for some times. A great product 👌 I only found it not good on track skating. Running can be a bit annoying as it jumps up n down. But I have the small model, should try the big . Either way, recommend product

Hey :) That's super cool! You should have given me a heads up :p I was hesitating a bit, as I imagined them to be bulky, but it's impressive how tiny/unnoticable they have made the "engine"! Love them for skating and running.. Excited to use them in the winter for laptimes on the ice :)

@thorupviktor yes. It is amazing, I got it when it was new, but saw feedback of a runner, so i tried
Cycling and running is great , skating doable as well , even in peleton. Only on the track I never use it, found it too dangerous in a pack

Hi 🙂 Yes! Pairs with Garmin, Apple, Suunto, android (probably some more, but those are the ones I can confirm 🙂)

I have these as well, and the head up display is soo cool!
I find the reflective inside of the glasses very annoying. I will see the reflection of my chin, eyes and surroundings in the inside of the glasses. Especially in bright light.
Does this bother you?
The data update is very slow in mine when paired to my Garmin Epix 2. It takes about 10 seconds to change displays or to see updates of time/heart rate etc.
Is that the same for you?

You can change the display changing time from the app. I have noticed that updates on data depends where the glasses are compared to cycling computer or watch. Computer gives very good info with approx 1-3s delay and running watch depends. If you are running with hand quite close to your chest its good, otherwise longer delay 3-6s.

@@teroreinikainen3020 Thank you for your reply. My glasses are now usually updating every 1-2 seconds when paired to my Epix 2. I'm not sure if it was fixed with an update to the plugin or update to the watch, but it's very good now.
The reflective coating on the inside of the glasses still bother me a lot.. I wonder if they have the same coating on the photochromic version.. On the product images it looks less reflective on the inside.. hmm

They definitely do 😊 The micro-engine that projects the data is covered, so water from rain.. or swear isn't an issue :) (When training in Denmark, I got to test that quite often 😅)
