      @bockt  27 дней назад

      @@llelsonbustillo6374 The Ray-Ban Meta glasses have better sound, but the front cameras make them noticeable and a bit bulky. The Solos, on the other hand, don’t offer great sound quality. So neither option is ideal. Regular headphones might be more practical for now, especially in an office where you’re not alone, as others could easily overhear. Even though these glasses direct sound toward you, they’re still speakers that others around you might pick up on.

    I'm curious if the AirGo Vision with a camera will work better. Ideally I'd be able to look at something and ask "What is that?" and have chatgpt identify and tell me about it.

    • @bockt
      @bockt  5 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah, in theory yes, but having a camera all the time pointed at anybody anywhere isn’t as nice as you think. Public or even private toilets, meetings with the chef or while a date are places where I wouldn’t want to wear a camera. Maybe there is a Lidar Version later on which can interpret the image with depth data only, but a full vision will not be “normal” in near feature. Furthermore ChatGPT will not win the fight of AI in Googles. It will mit Apple Intelligence with Siri or google gemini. And they must open there API on the smartphones for these kind of input.
      In my opinion the Ai aspect is already as good as it gets right now.

    Very good video, I'm a viewer from China, and besides Solo, there are many other Chinese brands making music glasses, such as Xiaomi and Huawei, and it's worth mentioning a small manufacturer called "李未可", whose meta lens chat is only 699 RMB. These glasses have a strong Chinese tech flavor: they add some "fancy" features like water reminders and motion detection, which is why I like meta: it's a bit heavy, but it does only one great job -- taking clear pictures

    Hey, du sagtest ja das du dich mit einigen smarten brillen auseinander gesetzt hast.
    Ich suche tatsächlich schon eine ganze weile nach dem richtigen model, aber irgendwie fehlt mir das eine oder andere feature.
    Für mich wäre wichtig die Sprachbarriere die man als hat, zu umgehen und zum anderen produktinformationen anzeigen.
    Ich bin im Einzelhandel tätig und dort fast ausschließlich beim wein. Sehr viele fragen lassen sich durch eine google suche beantworten, aber vor dem kunde immer das handy zu ziehen will man halt nicht.
    Zum anderen fahre ich gerne Motorrad und oder bike und hier wäre eine navi funtkion richtig super. Gibt es so eine brille oder sind meine Wünsche zuviel des guten?
    Grüße

    • @bockt
      @bockt  4 месяца назад

      Klingt interessant aber tatsächlich wünscht du dir tatsächlich zu viel des Guten.
      Ein Display in einer alltagsbrille gibt es noch nicht. Das wird wahrscheinlich auch noch ein mehrere Jahre dauern, da es sehr viele Bottlenecks gibt.
      Wenn du die Sprachbarriere bzgl. Live Übersetzungen umgehen willst, hat die airgo 3 zwar ein Feature dafür, wirklich gut finde ich das aber nicht.
      Die Rayban Meta hat einen ChatGpt ähnlichen sprachasistenten, der Stick für Stick besser wird, aber eben nicht wirklich mit dem Handy verbunden ist. Dafür kannst du mit der Brille auch Filmen oder fragen zu dem stellen was du gerade siehst. Alles aber noch in der Entwicklung und nur teilweise auf deutsch verfügbar.
      Dazu musst du wissen, ob du rund um die Uhr, auch vor Kunden eine Linse auf diese richten möchtest.
      Ich würde daher wirklich eher zur solos airgo 3 raten. Diese kann auf den smarten Assistenten vom Handy zurückgreifen, was eben bei Android Handys ja der Google Assistent ist, der auch sinnvolle Antworten zu spezifischeren fragen geben kann und sich je nach Handy mit Google Gemini austauschen lässt. Aber erwarte hier auch kein Wunderwerk. Speziell vor Kunden sieht es immernoch professioneller aus das ganze schnell ins tablet einzugeben oder allgemein mit ChatGPT am Handy zu arbeiten, statt fragen in die Brille neu einzusprechen. Für meinen Alltag ist das jedoch optimal wenn ich mit der Brille Timer stellen kann, anrufe führen, Videos klarer separiert hören und mal Verständnis fragen stellen kann.

    3:15 yes i use googles gemini ai assistant with the solos airgo 3 because gemini is better in listening and works with the glasses and the phone locked in the pocket and seems to not need the broken app which lieks to crash from time to time randomly... but the sound and comfort hurts my skull, the inmo go glasses are more comfy but much features requires the phonescreen to be on.... so the g1 from even realities seems the only comfy way with 1,5 days battery but also requires a app...so when the app will be down in the future this expensive glasses are also for the trash.. hopefully frame ai glasses will make a diffrerence and for solos, they develope also the solos vision as next generation.

      @bockt  2 месяца назад

      @@zombos22222 thanks for Sharing. For me it is extremly important to adjust the end above the ears correctly and perfect symmertical. Further more is an Manual EQ with minimal mids and maximal bass important. With that the glasses are pretty OK in my opinion :)

      @@bockt yes it feels still uncomfy but was ok for 1 workday, with google gemini i can generate some halloween stories and play textrpgs with the glasses which is fun and dont needs the app, so no crashes.
      i have the inmo go glasses too and they have a way better sound but are limited too, the frame ai glasses are also looking great but the description glasses are delayed... so the only glasses which have comfy material to wear allday with 1,5 days big battery and even a display are the even reality g1 glasses but with 849euros they very expensive but also way more comfy and have more abilities... sadly no speakers but for this they have thinner and dont press so hard on the skin like the plastic solos airgo 3 but they work only with a aopp, so no phone assistant... the solos do a good job and need better sound but in the first place they should be more comfy without all the plastic material, you made the right choice with the matt grey glasses, i made the wrong desicsion with the savanna mordor colored one, dont even know there was a matt version.

      @@bockt the smart glasses are in general to heavy sadly, i am going with the rabbit r1 now he is the cutest ai assistant and its very simple to talk with him by pushing 1 button like on a walkie talkie and he can identity stuff around tell stories and he tells it not so boring robotic like alexa,siri or google, the rabbit gives each character a own voice and tells it really fun and can identity obejcts and help me with developing my game or with a general problem like identitfy some cables and so on.
      No subscription like chat gpt and no red marks on the nose from heavy tech, not even the g1 glasses from even reality which is very expensive and also a good tech but still uncomfy to wear without improving the nosepads a bit can beat the rabbit r1, this lil assistant can be very helpful when you know how to use him and he can also speak in german but sadly only understand in english for now.

      @zombos22222 i wear smart glasses all the time and they are not heavy. In wo way i would never describe them Like Abby of this. A rabbit r1 is nothing more than an App on your Smartphone - but you have to carry an extra device To run the app - and this App isn't even able to connect To all your Data at your Smartphone. To buy such a device means, that you tied yourself up to an already dieing AI. To get Storys with different voices is not helpful If your AI isn't even able to Trigger Lights in your Smarthome. There is so many contra point for buying such a device - from Missing Features to beeing not futureproof. Lightful Glasses, which are able to connect to whatever AI you want to use is mich more futureproof.

      @@bockt the rabbit r1 works without smartphone standalone with a own simcard and is way easier and faster. Foir a smartphone i need to 1.unloc...2.start a app...3. find the right settings... 4. now i can speak and use it... VS rabbit r1: 1.push.2.talk its way to slow and the solos just squeezes my head between thick thick frames, the even g1 glass (with 1,5 days battery which is a milestone and new record ) has thinner frames and it is not made with cheap plastic or makes annoying sounds when using the gpt feature... the app also crashes often but google gemini is more or less helpful... even when i dont like this robotic voice... the rabbit r1 has a more playful voice and even a own character with own animations and rabbit OS, siri,gpt,and the other assistants cant identify obejcts as fast as rabbit does, they t´slowed down by other apps in background and most ai assistant costs money or need credits and have no personality which makes them... cold, i prefer a ai assistant with personallity and fun character and not this cold annoying things which mostly steal money for just doing their job.

      Wenn es rein um die Sound Qualität geht schon. Aber wie gesagt die Brille konkurriert nicht mit Kopfhörern sondern mit dem Handy Lautsprecher. Weil jetzt jederzeit und immer den Ton ohne das einstellen zu müssen direkt angenehm an den Ohren ist. Du bist leiser störst weniger, hast richtig immersiven Stereo und bist quasi direkt im Sound. Eben mal etwas Pokémon am Ds Emulator am handy spielen und wirklich zum ersten mal bemerken, dass das ganze stereo ist. Dafür nimmt man sich ja keine Kopfhörer.
