ENGO 2 ActiveLook Heads Up Display (HUD) Sunglasses First Look

The selling feature of the ENGO 2 sunglasses has to be the HUD that lets you see your running/cycling metrics on the right lens. There's a lot to discuss, so this one ran really long. Chapter markers are provided below.

Great idea on the glasses, but I agree with you they are definitely not user friendly. They have to design are better way to adjust vision for the HUD and your data fields. 🚴🏾

I use the smaller size, and have no problems, you have the Large size there, maby that had to do something with the location. I have problems with the "focus", I wish there was something to focus to compasate bad vision

I didn’t think about that - are you near or far sighted? If there’s no way to focus it, I may have to squint to see it and that would suck lol.

Can you tell me how it behaviours in case of oversight/hyperopia? Are numbers still visible and sharp? I have a slight one - like +1

As a paraglider in my 50s I am interested..but is it readable for folk with reading glasses??

I expect that it would be because it's so close to the eye, but hard to say for sure.

You need to get lenses to use these. I know because I have a similar model😊

That seems like a useful use case, but it would probably require some effort on ENGO's part to make it work.

Came for the sunglasses review, stayed for the coding. Also, glad to know I wasn't the only one who had "fun" with croakies as a kid. Nothing a few hours of therapy couldn't cure.

I had two pairs in last 6 months and each of them worked only 3 months and broke ( not charging)…… waste of money , useless , costumer service don’t exist

Wow! That really sucks. Given how much these cost, that whole experience should be so much better.
