The pics must be of what I call the new road. When I was 15, I rode up both sides of the pass on my bicycle without dismounting. I thought I was the only person to have achieved that feat but I met a lady who said she had done the same! I wish I could remember her name to give her recognition.
Wow, what an impressive feat-cycling up both sides of the Christmas Pass at 15! That must have been an incredible challenge and view. It was amazing to know there was someone else who matched your achievement, too! If only we could track her down to give her that well-deserved recognition. Thank you for sharing such a fantastic memory
Ah, the Sturmey Archer three-speed-a game changer for tackling those tricky climbs like Christmas Pass! I can imagine how challenging it must’ve been with a 14 fixed gear. Progress makes all the difference, doesn’t it? What’s your go-to bike setup these days?
84 and still keeping active-truly inspiring! Spinning at home sounds like a great way to stay fit and safe. It’s wonderful to see your passion for cycling hasn’t faded. Keep pedalling and enjoying the ride, no matter where it takes you!

I had a Sturmey Archer three speed on my bike. Previously I had a 14 fixed gear which was fine for local travel but impossible for Xmas Pass!

@@MUKTv-news I have reached the overripe age if 84. I sold my Giant bike a year ago. I now go spinning at home, it's a lot safer.
