On October 15th 2014 Geography now embarked on a mission to create informative profiles on every member country of the UN starting with the Afghanistan episode. Little did anyone know that it would take 10 years to complete. It's been the most amazing journey that has given me some of the best people in my life and truly unforgettable stories. I want to thank anyone and everyone that has ever been a part of the show whether it was a brief cameo or a full on co-hosting segment. You guys really do make up the channel because you guys are the world. I hope you enjoy this final chapter in this series. This truly was the most amazing thing I've ever accomplished and it's all thanks to you.
-Barbs.
PS. I'm not done yet though. Stay cool Stay tuned. 😉
PSS- Yes I am aware of the image mistake in Hannah’s segment, I’m not gonna re-upload the entire video just for that
This is history in the making
Love you barbs
I still can't believe its over.. dang...
it’s so over 😢

Prologue: Geography Now! Trailer (Complete)
Chapter 1: A-Z (Complete)
Chapter 2: Around the Globe (PLAY)
It was a genuine pleasure to be part of the experience in Zimbabwe, Barby! To meet our new friends and to see sub-Saharan Africa in the metaphoric flesh were the highlights of the last five years of my life. It was because of you and your channel that I minored in geography in college, so please never stop being enthusiastic for it. I know that I sure won’t!
Jake/Jeik
How did you comment an hour ago? Is it a channel member thing that I’m too broke to understand? 😂
@@bababababababa6124 yea. RUclipsrs can make videos members only
I'm jealous
@@bababababababa6124 yeah it is
It was an amazing experience, once in a lifetime. I’m glad you were there too Jeik!
-Chris
Its beautiful 😭
I don't know if you'll ever see this but your series genuinely saved my life. I was going through a rough spot in my life struggling with undiagnosed mental conditions, stress over school, and abuse. But I convinced myself to keep living just to see the series finish, and during that time my life got better.
So thank you
Keep on living even after the series is ended, sir.
I’m glad you made it!
You got this. Happy you're still around!
I remember when Australia and Afghanistan came out, how FAR this channel came from there was astounding. I’m sad this series is over, but here’s to new ones. Love ya barbs! ❤️
Same! Saw the Australia episode come up in my RUclips the week it was uploaded, and been here since
Here I am, 10 years later, still watching this channel because my love of geography never waned. It has been one hell of a journey from beginning to end. I remember seeing a thumbnail of someone being punched in the face with the flag of Chad in the corner. I thought “What the heck, this looks fun.” And I subscribed within minutes. I’ve been through elementary, middle, and high school, and here I am 3rd year of college still here watching these hilarious fools talk about our world. Thank you, Barbs, for the journey of a lifetime for all of us. Thank you for all the laughs and knowledge. Thank you for 10 years of entertainment. And here’s to 10 more!
Being part of your final country episode was such an unforgettable experience. As someone who's always been a fan of geography, it meant so much to be involved in something that brings people together from all over the world. Thanks so much for the opportunity. That moment at 46:43 really hit me. 😢 I can’t wait to see where you’ll take us next!
You took the words directly out of my mouth, Julius!
It was an honor..
I'm here
You are most certainly lucky! I hope you can do more for yourself in the future!
How did you manage to get an invite for a trip to Zimbabwe?
CONGRATULATIONS BARBS!!!
A journey to educated the world about geography. Please consider the following:
IDEA: Start a new channel called *_History Then_*
Thats would be GREAT!
Yugoslavia, Soviet Union, east Germany and others would be fun to watch
Ya
That's a neat idea 💡
Damn. I remembered as a highschooler I found your Brazil episode thinking "nice, a channel doing something i'm looking for!!" And got real excited. I immediately press the subscribe button. Back then I thought oh maybe at some point Barb would eventually get busy or abandon this project due to issues but this channel keeps growing, not even covid pandemic stopped this channel!
And now I'm already a working adult, and still immediately watch GN whenever you upload a new country video.
Feels like growing together with an old friend. Thank you for the amazing journey, you've been an excellent companion.
Stay cool Barbs!
Edit: I wrote this comment before I watch the video, now I have watched the video and I nearly shed a tear. Yeah I only watch GN videos and never featured in any just like many others but it feels like we all grow together as fellow GN viewers through all the years.
Will be waiting for what you have in store next!
32:43 my favorite flag, the puzzle piece
Thank you for making these videos for the past 10 years. I've been around on and off since Hungary when I was a kid, and now seeing Zimbabwe as a feel grown adult now... amazing!
LETS GOOO BARBS!!! THE 193TH COUNTRY IS FINALLY DONE!! AFTER 10 YEARS! I was a child when I first saw your content and now I'm in 9th grade. Time flies man, and I wish you luck on whatever you are going to embark next, as always, stay cool, stay tuned.
Also hope you make a video on Puerto Rico as a Boricua Geograpeep
193rd 🤓👆
We've finally made it lads!
I was in 4th grade when i first started watching Geography Now, and now i'm in my third year of high school. Time flew by.
Why do people older than me talk so fancy
Calm down dude, you're still a child lmao
CONGRATULATIONS BARBS!! This channel has been a very dear companion through my travels and I learned so much from you, so happy for you, it's been a remarkable journey, good luck in what's to come 🙏🏼😍
I’m here since Benin, what an incredible journey 😢 you’re the first RUclips channel that I followed. I was 20 now I’m 30, You have been my 20s
Congrats my bro! An incredible 10 years journey and what a milestone ❤️ You have put blood, sweat and tears into content which will be remembered for generations ✨
Man oh man, we have reached the final episode. I can’t believe it just happened! We made it! We made it to Zimbabwe! I can’t believe it happened! One of my first episodes I watched from Geography Now (I believe) was Denmark. I was a teenager when I first watched the series around a decade ago. As a young kid who loved Geography and wanted to learn more, no other channel at the time offered good Geography like you did, Paul. Now, I am an adult entering my next stage of life and have traveled to many different parts of the world. I would like to say thank you, Paul and others on the show, for all these years. Your channel was informative, entertaining, and fun. Glad to have been apart of this wild journey. It must’ve been a difficult accomplishment. You had both great and not so great times. The good and the bad. In times of triumph and times of despair. However, it takes pure dedication to teach your love of Geography to the world on every country on the planet. But the truth of it all, it has not only made a huge impact in my life but just about every life in all corners of the globe. To reiterate, thank you, Paul, for everything and others who contributed to monumental feat. It has been a wild ride and I’m glad I was part of the journey. I’m excited to see the next chapter of your journey and see what’s in store for us in the future. So once again, thank you Paul for everything you’ve done, not for me but around the world. Best of luck to your future endeavors. Can’t wait to see what’s next! God Bless.
It was such a pleasure to see this series grow and evolve over a decade, and seeing it end makes me a bit sad for its ending. Hope you do well in the future for whatever you plan soon!
I've watched this channel since Afghanistan's video, and it's so amazing to see how the channel has grown over the years.. what a journey it's been.
Barbs, I basically got into geography and learning about different countries and cultures because of you.
(I know it’s not the end lol, but) This channel has genuinely been something that has helped me discover a passion of mine, and whether you decide to do territories or not, I don’t know, but I know that I will keep supporting what you do, the realest. Funniest. Most bad*as RUclipsr-showhost out there.
Love you man, thanks for everything, your viewer from Armenia 🥹🇦🇲❤️
Exactly man, Barbs inspired me too
Bro, when I watched your first video about Afghanistan when I was 9 years, i'm 20 years old and I understand how fast time flies😢😥
I was 4 years old when I saw afghanistan video now I'm 26 time flies
"we got a time traveler here"
I work with 4 Zimbabweans in my accounting firm, here in south africa. they are the hardest working people I've ever met, they are all ridiculously intelligent individuals, and they are all so kind, it's a pleasure and privilege to work with them. Fun fact, Zimbabweans are the most educated nation of people in Africa.
I've been a subscriber since the Netherlands episode. Man, it has been a great journey and I've learned a lot about the geography of each country.
Thank you Barbs!
*I'm not crying, just a huge dose of nostalgia in the episode about Zimbabwe hit me in the eye* 😭
Congrats Barbs! I was here since Afghanistan and you are still one of my favorite channels on the platform. Much love from your greatest Bosnian fan :)
Thank you so much Barbs, so much love from Zimbabwe 🇿🇼
At last. You've made to Zimbabwe. Congratulations barbs. Your video's are awesome as always!
Thanks for the journey Barbs. Hope this video gets the millions of views your deserve.
I grew up watching you starting with Afghanistan, I was 7 then and I'm 17 now and it's been nothing short of an amazing journey thank you so much you have sparked a love of geography that will never die, stay awesome
I was 9 years old when you started this channel. Now I'm a sophomore in college watching in my dorm while skipping class. Where did the time go? Barbs you are one of the greatest bits of my childhood. I was always into learning abt new cultures but you really pushed me to learn more and more everyday. God bless you and thank you for committing to this vision you've had for a decade
It Happened.... CONGRATS🥳. I lived in this channel since Afghanistan came out. I learned a lot from this guy and his team. This guy helped me for projects of shool and other reasons.I am so happy for you. Never stop being energised and enthusiastic. Cannot wait for you to see where you to take us next!!
Yo Barbie I've learned so much interesting stuff about the most obscure and remote countries such as Lesotho, Qitzikwaka, Bandiaterra and Sovontak which I would have never heard of otherwise as a direct consequence of watching YOUR videos. Been consistently watching this channel since the Andorra and Angola episodes and I swear every single video you've made has been on a constant upwards trajectory in production value. Congrats on this historic achievement and thanks for fostering one of the nicest and most wonderful communities on this platform.
Amazing final episode! We waited a long time 🇿🇼🫶🏾
I’m so glad the last episode of this show has the “blood of those who fight for the freedom” gag. What an insane journey it’s been, been watching since I was in 8th grade and now I’m a senior in college. Thank you for everything, Barbe!
This is a moment for the RUclips history book!
I never comment on videos but I have to this time.
I found this channel back when I was 16 and i had to do a project for English class about Australia and I came across the Australia episode.
I’m now 26 and holy hell has a lot happened in 10 years. It’s a long time, and the fact that this series is just now ending sets things into perspective.
I’m happy to have been along for such a long time and I will surely stick around to see what will happen in the future!
Hey Barbs!
Been watching since 2017, and growing up, your series has really made me a geography nerd lol. Was waiting for this final video for years and it's finally here. Hats off to your efforts!
And the final country episode has come. Gotta say, it completely stuck the landing Barbs. I have watched since the Germany episode (I am German myself) and have learned so much with each new episode. These episodes shaped me from a young teenager with almost no geography knowledge to a young man with rather massive geography knowledge.
This show, alongside many other forms of educational content on other RUclips channels, has given me a large amount of knowledge about and interest in all the wondrous places and people on this giant, beautiful mess of a planet we call our home. So thank you Barbs for all that you've accomplished with the show. And just know that I, alongside many others, will stick around for whatever you decide to do next.
10 years. It's crazy to believe that so much time has happened. Thank you so much for such an incredible journey Barbs! I learned so much from your episodes. :)
Brabs, I have been subscribed since 2015. It has been a pleasure watching this show evolve over the years. I had the pleasure of meeting you in Savannah last year when you were filming the USA episode. I look forward to the next great thing you were going to do.
I'm from India. I have been watching your videos from Germany episode. Love Zimbabwe and Geography Now. 🇿🇼🇮🇳

Congratulations guys. I've really enjoyed the series 👏
Congrats Barbs. It feels like I starting watching GN just last year but it was back when I was in college. You and the entire crew came a long way.
Barbs, this has been a wonderful journey. I'm Italian, you've accompanied me since elementary school, and when I discovered you, I was so excited because I had always loved the different Countries of the World, and to see somebody cover them all! Amazing. I even wrote an essay about you!
Lots of your episodes hold a special place in my heart.
Your channel first taught me English. I am now greatly considering moving to an anglophone country because of my fluency.
Thank you, really. Now let's look at the bright future this channel still has to experience.
I've been watching for about 8 years now you guys were a core part of my childhood thank you for making these!
Yes. We did it. THANK YOU BARBY!
Thank you for making Geography Now. I somehow stumbled upon your channel around 2015 around the time you uploaded the Barbados episode, and since then, I've been a loyal fan. It's been a wonderful time. Looking forward to the next chapter.
Wow , it's been 10 years, it was a pleasure to be on this journey for so long
I've been here since Ireland, but I binged every previous episode after I found your channel. It's been a journey for sure, and I'm proud of what you have built. No matter what the next chapter holds for you and your team, I have no doubt that your followers will be here for all of it. Congrats, Barbs, and here's to the future!
Sanskrit is the coolest language!

Consider diving deep into this language to learn more!
A remember first seeing thumbnails of this show floating around RUclips in 2014 and 2015.
Wasn't initially impressed, despite studying geography as a subject at college.
Turns out it was a fun and incredibly informative gem on this website.
You gave helpful advice on my own trips around the world.
Well done, Paul and the team.
God Bless you all.
Looking forward to the future.

Gonna miss this have been watching your videos since the past 7 years and it all comes down to this ❤️💔🫶
I started snacking on your videos during dinner time when I moved to Australia for work, away from friends and family. Over the years I’ve lived across 3 continents, and your channel is always here when I need to pass some boring times. Thank you Barbs for making such entertaining AND educational videos. Great accomplishment on completing the series!

I first discovered this channel when my country got covered. Caught up with what came before and really enjoyed the rest of the journey. Congratulations for this achievement!
This is it😢
Congrats!!!!! Thank you for all the work you’ve done over all these years.
It was an honor..
What a trip this has been! I have been following the show on&off for the last 6-7years. It has been my go-to way to discover countries that I might have otherwise not known anything about - not to mention considering visiting. Thank you for this quirky format and for having the ability to address hard topics in light and often humorous ways. And congrats to all the people that contributed - if there ever would be a “most wholesome yt channel” trophy, you would deserve it 100%. All the best in the upcoming formats and topics you will cover. 🚀
