First, ❤❤❤❤❤. Second, I totally agree about going off the beaten path and seeing things that most people wouldn't look twice maybe wouldn't look once at. When I went to Ankor Wat, I wanted to remember the road leading up to it, and what it looked like going out, because those things are never featured in tourist brochures. Really dug the marimba music in this episode. This letter to the country format for these episodes is fantastic, what places are you thinking about heading to next? The weird enclave within an enclave, within an enclave, within an enclave, within an enclave that was in Europe? Armenia? Can't quite remember where it was but you did talk about it in one of your episodes.
Much appreciated the quad point of the 4 countries. Amazing. Next when I am in Kasane I will take a picture from there. Love from Botswana Gaborone 🇧🇼 ❤️
Not sure if you've already been there or not (I haven't been subscribed to the channel for even a year yet and had only seen a handful of your videos the past few years), but I'd recommend going to Newfoundland in your pursuit of weird but cool geopolitical anomalies. There's a point in Newfoundland where you're actually able to touch the Earth's mantle (the Upper Mantle to be specific) due to a cool geologic event that happened millions of years ago. Normally, it's impossible for us to even get near the mantle (think the Soviet drilling mission which dug the deepest hole in the Earth's crust to date, and had to stop due to the machinery malfunctioning because of the extreme heat), so it's a pretty cool place to see!
Kazungula is amazing place. Last year I was traveling from Livingstone, Zambia to Windhoek, Namibia and I was very sick 🤢. I thought the bus was going to use Sesheke route, which is the worst road in the world. Gravel and potholes and all. And it would take 8 hrs to cover 200km because it really is that bad. Thank goodness the bus used the Kazungula route instead. It was so new that even local Zambians didn't know it existed. They were telling me that all busses and trucks use the Sesheke road to get into Namibia. Sure I had to transit through Botswana to get Namibia which means an additional border to check through but thank God for Kazungula. Imagine when you are sick from food poisoning and if the driver would have taken the Sesheke route into Namibia, it would have been a disaster. Anyways hope you go see other regions like Capetown (South Africa) and Swakopmund (Namibia)...they are mind-blowing.
I always have really loved people getting unreasonably and passionately angry about something incredibly specific and niche. I want to see two experts on some obscure topic get into a yelling match about a niche research topic relating to an obscure snake that they might be literally the only two people on earth who know about them to a professional level. Or yelling about the technicality of is it a qudrupoint or not cause of the fing 150 meter gap. I laughed my a off at that, needed that in the morning.
Not gonna lie, I preferred it when you had to cross by boat. Crossing into another country over water is just fun. Plus it made the quadripoint more ambiguous. But... I suppose it's good for trade and the economy and all that. Fine.
I have never been to Botswana, but I fell in love with the country after reading "The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency" series. It sounds like a peaceful simple country. I hope it stays this way and I hope I can see it some day.

This could be a good next series for you to do Barbs. After the Zimbabwe episode🥲
Oh, there are definitely more of these videos coming in the future! Stay tuned!
Highly appreciated, bro❤
❤❤❤
Loved that rant in the beginning 😂
Love seeing the bridge.
I will fight to the death for my position on this 🤣
Yessss love the new vids ❤
I'm glad you do!
@@GeographyNowlol you are like the only channel I have notifications turned on for 😂
I'm so happy for you Barbs!
I love these videos perfect for a quick Home Workout
Barbs, please travel everywhere and make these videos so that we may accompany you 😍
Not gonna lie, I preferred it when you had to cross by boat. Crossing into another country over water is just fun. Plus it made the quadripoint more ambiguous. But... I suppose it's good for trade and the economy and all that. Fine.
Liked for the food intro alone
If that's all it takes then hey! I'm glad it works for you
so much had happened in these 9 years for Barb while Botswana still vibing.
Great video!
I have never been to Botswana, but I fell in love with the country after reading "The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency" series. It sounds like a peaceful simple country. I hope it stays this way and I hope I can see it some day.
Afghanistan memories hittin me rn 😭😭😭😭
