This was really good, I have a Les Paul Goldtop and it's one of my favourite guitars (as well as one of the main ones I play at home). If I could add some suggestions for solos I also would've had "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" by The Beatles (solo played by Eric Clapton but gave Harrison the Les Paul afterwards) as well as "Another Brick In The Wall (Part 2)" by Pink Floyd (which many people may not realize was one of David Gilmour's main guitars during _The Wall)_ but that's just my two cents, great job as always, man
Never heard All Right Now? Never ceases to amaze me how often the great Paul Kossoff is overlooked on these lists. Am I hearing something that isn't there, is that not one of the all time most famous riffs and greatest solos, or is it just that Koss's vibrato is so sublime that nobody is game to play it cause they won't sound as good as him?
Would you class Great Van Fleet’s when the curtain falls as a good Les Paul riff? Technically the guy’s guitar is a Les Paul but made when the were designed as SG’s.
Hey Karl, I remember you performed a serie of the top 100 rock songs medley together with Batu Akdeniz and Jonathan Rogler. But you only gave us three videos of it, with 75 songs in total. Is there any chance you could give us the last 25 songs as well? I'm still waiting for that to happen.
Hey Karl! Was just reading about Article 13 and came across with your video about it. How are you now with it? Did RUclips block anything of yours or any other problems? As for solos and riffs on les Paul... I just thought that none of my favorite stuff was done with it lol
So here is the REAL list. obviously number 1 is Whole Lotta Love 2 Heartbreaker 3 All Right Now 4 Money For Nothing 5 Blue Sky (Dickey Betts) 6 Nobody's Fault But Mine 7 Sweet Child O mine 8 The Hunter (Free) 9 Achilles Last Stand 10 Ten Years Gone
I didn't realize it was so bright in your studio to where everyone needs sun glasses. I can only assume they are in some sort of Steel Panther-esque type band with these ridiculous outfits.
