These comments are very inexperienced with watching these monologue in person while working in tv. This monologue took no less than 10-14 hours to completely although done in 4 mins. Master editors...each single shot is between 8-30 takes of the same thing and I think I have seen like 30 cuts of the shot. All until it’s perfect. My guess so that it didn’t overwhelm the actor James Spader because he is a Human being.

I know this is fiction, but that would have been one of the moments that the Chinese would have picked up on in this scene. In reality, you don't buy a law firm because the team running it are a bunch of wusses who you can shove out the door to replace with your own guys. Law firms are literally built around the partners of the firm who lead the team(s). To an actual Chinese investment team, this speech would say that they bought an actual worthwhile law firm and that the people running it still want to MAKE MONEY as their primary goal. Especially after seeing these guys in the news etc, this speech would be exactly what they want. The owners can handle the money stuff and the legal team is still hungry af wanting just to be left alone? That's a good buy.

A Television show that went off the air the year before the Blacklist comes out, makes the perfect case as to why Trump should be re-elected President in 2020. America is not for sale no matter how much spin daddy Biden may put on it for his son Hunter, oh and by the way I hope you saw the softball interview ABC (or NBC or CBS) had with Jill Biden and she was asked about her family and she said they had 5 (or 6) grandchildren, but when you tallyed the books, they forgot to include the one that Hunter had out of wedlock. Great show Jill. Hunter is frolicking like a bunny in the Spring and has a child with a woman in Arkansas, but the idiot did not bother to use B.F. Goodrich when it came time for the rubber to hit the road, so when his pecker snot turned into a beautiful baby 9 months later, he runs to daddy to throw some weight around in the Arkansas family court system, where has no influence. So, instead of acknowledging they have all the grandchildren they left out one. Well, we know how stupid Obama was be lead by the short hairs of the democrats in Congress, and Joe Biden who hung up his KKK Robert Byrd wake costume long enough to hang around and do nothing except grow senile.

Say what you want about James Spader.......He brilliantly portrays the Alan Shore character; and Alan Shore, my friends, is the embodiment of how we all wish we could speak our minds, what we would say if the we had an uninterrupted ability to speak and drop the f-ing mic. James Spader is a damn good actor, Alan Shore is a f-ing mythological God of unbridled truth.

      "mythological God of unbridled truth."
No. He's extremely insightful and melodramatic. But there was plenty he got wrong.
He is convincing, but hes not always honest or right. Which is exactly the point hes making in this clip, he doens't need to be right to win.
His view of the legal system is that its theater. He (the character) recognises that, recognises that he doesn't win by saying the 'truth', but with style, expression, and influence, are all more important.
Don't be duped. I'm not saying he wrong about everything. He's certainly always convincing, and also wrong sometimes too (even when he thinks hes right).

James Spader is basically a Hollywood-lifehack...your show isn`t quite good enough ? How about you put Spader in it and let him talk a lot , that ought to fix it !
But I feel like at some point the writers pretty much stopped writing an actual show and just started writing monologues...which sadly, does get old after a while...definetly not a bingable show..
