"Have you googled my romantic history? I date guys called Mr. Chairman. I date first-round draft picks -- high second-round if it's a skill position. You think I'm dating the EP of a 10pm newscast that _barely_ out-rates a re-run of Just Shoot Me?"
It’s funny the first time I had seen the scene with the Bloomberg terminal I didn’t really get it and then I took my finance class in our investment lab in college and we got to use them and finally understood what Sloan was feeling.
That Beaking News, Baking News line from Jim always makes me laugh. There's so much tension in the newsroom but they all genuinely manage to make us laugh. Sorkin is a genius.
Wait does it really show up that way? I'm not sure why it would do that but I can guess it's probably because youtube censors would not let me keep any of the scenes from episode 2 or 6 in the final cut so the thumbnail probably still shows the original length of the video.
So easy to handle the hostile takeover. They have ten days. Threaten niece to sell your shares before she turns 25 and she will be left holding the bag of shit.
And yet he spends the rest of the episode being effectively smarter than her. She has a huge IQ but Dons way of thinking is infinitely more practical. Thats how he can tell her who to question, how to find people and realising his smartphone has google
@@dansomething7742 totally, but makes the relationship works, where she is like the high level, conceptual thinking, and Don has very strong resourcefulness and implementation ability. Both are intelligent in their own way, but are valuable. and of course their chemistry is amazing.
The third season was the weakest by a lot. The first season was best. The second season was mediocre, and the third was bad. What really set the shoe apart was an original idea! Looking at news from roughly 18 months ago (at the time) with clear 20/20 vision to show how media gets things right and (mostly) how they get it wrong. The second season did less of this. The third season nearly abandoned it altogether.
The whole HR-Don/Sloan cat and mouse game was soo entertaining lol
Made better by the fact that he was just messing with them.
Hated it
I wish they'd showed a little more of this relationship. I really enjoyed these two together!
16:23 - Don knows (and loves) where this is going.

That was a filthy drag 😂
I love how comfortable Don is with the idea that Sloan is so much smarter than him.
"Picture her doing what?"
Also, "My mama didn't raise no fool unless you count my brothers"
Sloan is so friggin adorable 🤣🤣

16:23 "Ooooh, she's going to take this idiot down and I can't WAIT to watch."
Sloan calls Don dumb at 1:46 so he proceeds to spend the rest of the episode actually getting things done when she goes about them the wrong way
One would think she would be more humble considering the number of times she screwed up.
@@robrick9361 You must be very young...
She's not serious about it.
Yes. That's literally what the joke is
"its not a pun its a double entendre" 😂

I liked when Jim and Don became friends
“What are you doing standing next to me?”
“I really don’t know”
“Scatter”
Makes me laugh every time! 😂
Really disappointed that you skipped over episode 2, because it had the best line with Sloan just screaming, "THEN HOW 'BOUT THE SEX!?"
I love when Don puts the meatball into that man's mouth. lol
It's not on there...LMAO! Love Don!
I have only just finished watching The Newsroom and love it so so much.
I love this couple hugely!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
D: "We're NOT dating!"
S: "...."
D: "...."
S: "...ok"

S: "...."
D: "?!?!"
Sloan may be brilliant in economics. But is clueless when it comes to everything else.
That 's one of things I liked about her
Mack: "Do you have any human knowledge?"
Sloan: "I've been told I do not."
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
"we are not dating!" "okay"
Love Sloan!
"it's not on there" 😭🤣
How has she not got bigger and better and roles??? Ffs
Why does this video show up as 30 mins long in the thumbnail, but only 18 mins long in actual fact??

@@avabrown2345 great compilation, don't get me wrong! I appreciate it
Wow, i never would have realized that if I haven't read this comment
I want to see their instagram lol
Only 17 minutes for best couple in the world?
Outsider might think there are 106000 hotels in the city.
How is "I trust a stranger less than I trust me." horrifying??
I’ve loved Olivia since Attack of the Show

Easily the least annoying cpl on the show.
Sloane calling Don dumb was pretty rude especially since he is actually smart, just not an economist.
In her defense, intelligence can be relative and to her everyone probably feels like a total idiot lol

They're flirting. It turns him on. . .and it confirms she is dating him, which makes him happy
oh, Toofer...
