i don't care for a lot of reviewers on here as they mostly read specs and say "fun ride" or "hated it". i will specifically wait for the TMF review for any bike I'm considering or wondering about. the comprehensive breakdown you do on all the bikes are incredible so dont skip a bike if you think too many other people have done it please, im sure a lot of people trust you as our go to reviewer on YT.
I agree. TMF been waiting for this and the follow-ups. It’s going to be good getting your ongoing views and conclusions. Looks like a real fun bike and no doubt a head turner. Yours aye, Alan
Phil Anderson this is awesome. Happy to know you saw something on here and then that helped you pull the trigger. Hope your ride is sweet my friend. Stay safe
The bike that makes zero sense, isn't practical but appeals to me in *every* way that is measurable and immeasurable. I love that thing. Enjoying the TMF 'practical' approach to the most excessively excessive machine on the planet. LOL.
I have to say what a pleasure it is to watch your videos , your info and description about bikes and gear is first class. I particularly like the fact that you don’t swear this for me shows your good knowledge of language and correct way of doing great videos so I thankyou very much for that . To me your a really nice bloke to listen to and watch. Please keep doing the videos 😎👍
very fair review , shame it wasnt summer , the perfect summer bike. needs two big analogue clocks on it though ,, in a nice chrome pod would go well with the twin headlights.
Yes! I have been waiting for this review! Happy to hear that you have it for a week. Look forward to some more coverage of it. Love the bike - well done!
I love it (in fact, dealer has my deposit.) Impractical, quite. Joystick a pain, absolutely. However a stunner to look at (IMO) and an amazingly fun ride on a dry day on some fast roads. Hope the rain stays away for you (and the rest of us) for the rest of the month. In fact, there's no better place to self-isolate than on a bike. Think I will eventually go for GT bars and R pegs though, or use some Rox risers to bring the R bars back a little.
Was watching this great review whilst cooking dinner, when my wife (who’s not a biker at all) came home and said “is that the Missenden Flyer your watching” I’m obviously watching your channel to much 😂
You finally got on one. This first review reminds me of your ride on mine. Same wet road conditions, a bulky bike and the same trepidation! Hopefully during the week, you got to realise that bulk doesn't mean you can't hussle along. Bet it felt a sense of occasion riding it. With large capacity engines, it's all about grunt. I like it, not sure I £20K like it though! Looking forward to seeing the rest.
Good to hear from you again thanks for the video it's really appreciated as I am not deadly tall either so it's nice to hear your views on the bike as regards to the realistic way anyone would be using the big triumph in the UK also bonus it's now in the winter season great
Your commentary on the Rocket 3 is very good, I used to live in Great Britain 27 years ago, moved to Florida, bikers paradise, dry roads day after day, I own a 2009 R3, luv the bike, looking forward to test driving and owning the new 2500cc R3 GT...as per usual the Brits out to conquer the world, 2020 Triumph Rocket 3, Rolls Royce Phantom, Bentley Arnage and Mulsane Turbo's, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Michael Caine, Anthony Hopkins, Simon Cowell, it's an endless list from a rinky dink sized country no bigger than the State of Wyoming.
Great review TMF! I rode the GT version a couple of weeks back here on Vancouver Island and protty much concurr with your comments on the similar items. Being a sport-tourer rider (BMW R1200RT) I absolutely hated the foot-forward riding position, and within a few Kms by back protested. Unforynately, there was not a type 'R' available to test. I think the TFT display is quite horrible , trying to put too much information into too small a space. Stop cheaping-out Triumph and put a full-set of gauges on your premium models! Torque-wise, it's utterly ridiculous and think my arms have lengthened as a result. Whilst the bulk disappears on the move, it's quite a pain to maneuver around parking areas and driveways. Makes a statement - yes indeed. Would I want one? no thanks!
I could set in my garage with a cup of coffee and just stare at it, move the chair a foot or too and resume my stare until the coffee turned cold. Stunning isn’t a strong enough word. My old VMax was weak in comparison. I remember seeing an earlier generation Rocket III at a dealer and marveling at the fact that that the front tire was larger/wider than the rear tire on the VMax.
Love my 2020 Trimph Rocket 3 GT last time that i owned a motorcycle and gettin attention from other people on the street was my 1989 Suzuki GSX-R black edition i was inmy late 20s the Rocket for me is that gap beteween a sport bike and a cruiser powerful torquey and fast its a keeper for me for sure . Ride safe mate
Hi TMF, Nice review 👍. A perfect description of the bike was the comparison with Hot Wheels 😀. Just over the top, eye catching and ginormous. I love the riding modes...what were they again...oh yeah...Rain, Street and Arm Rippin’ Hyperdrive 😂. I saw one here in Australia just last week. I love the look but don’t think I’d purchase one. It is a gorgeous looking motorcycle in the flesh. Looking forward to your full thoughts after you’ve ridden her for a while. Always a pleasure to watch your videos. Cheers.
I spot a contradiction in terms: new 2020 model and "longterm soon". I mean, in the corporate enterprise world, long term could be some three months (short term, today's P&L, mid term, this months, long term this quarter's). Here, I propose to ask for more in-depth review based on mixed use, repeated under different conditions, like daily commute, weekend trip, passenger or not, lots of luggage or not or navigating dense urban traffic, its jams and narrow winding city streets and alleys. I know Mr. TMF is capable of such approaches and can work very fast ;) I would consider "long term" in this bike's case to involve more than one year and more than, say, some 20,000 km (~12,500 miles).
If they put two classy analog dials (to match the front two headlights) instead of the digital display, they would have nailed that piece of the design element. Still very, very nice bike!!
After riding noisy bikes for many years, I quite like a more subtle exhaust note these days.... I really am getting old aren't l TMF is the one stop all round Moto-vlog. Cheers
Some people are just more sensitive to noise than others. I've never liked really loud exhausts, even when I was young. The first few km's it sounds amazing, but I find it really tiring.
Fantastic looking bike and I think the TFT suits it, much better than the square i pad type. Also sounds good to me, don't like a noisy bike, and worth every penny. If only I could afford one.
Wide is an understatement... The Munch Mammoth employed this concept and style back in the 60's... Just love the fact that Triumph produced it. To me it looks like a naked Gold Wing, but that 220Nm of torque just has to be experienced. Look at that front tyre profile...😃
I’ve owned a Suzuki GSX1400 for a dozen years. I recall my first rides were in the same kind of conditions - damp, cold & windy. ‘Only’ 1.4L but masses of torque. Madly OTT, not anything like as striking as the big Triumph, but it’s my equivalent. Lovely Rocket III.
To my eye, there's about a foot and a half of rear mudguard missing. I would like a complete mudguard in red to match the front one, please. Add a backrest and that would be just about perfect for me, thank you very much indeed sir.
Great review. I don't like the lack of rear fender with the wheel hanging out, as well as all the mud and debris thrown all over. The rest looks great! Cheers!
Saw one in local Triumph showroom. Looked totally impractical. But at the same time awesome. Not sure I could justify £20k for something to use on a sunny day, that said it gorgeous.
Hello Andy, I watched all your videos related to the Triumph Rocket 3. From my perspective, this has to be one of the most beautiful motorcycles 🏍️ on the road. The engine sounds phenomenal and you need to remove your ear plugs. I can only imagine what the torque on a 2.5 Litre Triple Cylinder motorcycle feels like. The instrument display could be better, but I could live with it. This bike looks great from any angle, including the aft end. I think this a dry weather only bike, but if I had the space for another motorcycle, I’d add one to my garage. I looked at another video of a GT model and I could not handle the forward positioned pegs and gear selector, so the “R” would be my choice. I would not bother installing a pillion backrest as my wife would not be comfortable with her knees tucked up around her ears with the clever and beautifully designed pillion pegs. The last muscle bike I remember and admired was the early model Yamaha Virago. Cheers.
Great video as always. One question you sort off answered, when you test ride bikes do you ever get the suspension set up as for preload , rebound, compression and sag and have you done this on your own bikes. If not is it something you would think about doing and if so would be will you do a video on it. Thanks Andy. 👍🏻
I thought it was great. Feels much smaller as soon as it was moving, even at walking speed. I'm too tall for many bikes and this model and the old one fit me like a glove. Rockets are light for their size. The old one had about 4-5 bikes that were much heavier and had less than 2/3 power. And the new one is even better. I didn't like the gauge thingy . But the brakes , gear change and steering was like being a 600cc . I don't know what mode I had it in but it was sort of easy then it all changed and it was roaring away. So I guess I had it in a slow mode. This will have a lot of fans and will steal a lot of riders away from the other marques.
Made in Thailand with a Made in the UK price tag! Up until now I've been a great admirer of what John Bloor has achieved with Triumph. As a proud Triumph biker for over 35 years now, I simply can't buy into this anymore.
Me too - Bloor relied on U.K. loyalty and the made in Britain moniker to take the brand to where it is today - when you look at the value for money Royal Enfield, which is openly an India made product , the mark up on Triumph Thai products is totally unjustifiable , dishonest in still pushing the Britishness , and makes no financial sense to me to buy one. Any Triumph product is now off my potential purchase list , as is Dyson et al. My sympathies are with the Triumph Hinckley workforce.
Have had five new triumphs since 1996 . My next bike will be a Enfield. Is just down to accountants who know the price of everything and the value of nothing.
Totally agree. As the former owner of a '79 T140 and also a '92 (early) Hinckley 1200 Trophy, I'm definitely falling out of love with Triumph. For me the "final nail" was the Bonneville Bobber. Totally "jumping the shark".
Know where you're coming from on this, but last year Triumph sold 60,000 bikes and made a profit of £9.5m which equates to £160 a bike, which I would say is hardly an excessive amount....
Good review thankyou. I find those tyres good on UK roads - better in the wet than many, however I bet if the rear tyre was replaced you would find it improved the handling.
Very much enjoyed this review. Seeing the rocket used in the wet was a first. I look forward to hearing your opinion at the end of the week. Reverend Paul.
Fair review, I was blown away with the job triumph had done on the bike especially the weight management, however it is not on my radar, hopefully there are enough people wanting to win at top trumps when ordering an urban cruiser to make it a success, maybe a bigger tank would have broadened its appeal a little
As usual, fair and informative review mate. I am a 'Triumph Tragic' and after changing from my beloved Speed Triple R (original model with the PVM forged rims) to a 2015 Thunderbird Storm (current bike)(I only sold the Speedy to appease the wife who loves coming out for rides but found the Speedy a horrible pillion ride (I explaind numerous times it was not designed for two up but she insisted... lol). I wanted the new R3 as soon as I heard about its launch. The T-Bird is a fantastic bike but I really miss the torque and sound of a triple. The new R3 appeals to me as it appears to have a bit of the 'Speed Triple' mongrel built in and the build quality, based on all of the many reviews I have read and watched seems to be second to none. Also, it seems obvious that the T-Bird is now going to be a 'relic' with no updates so it makes sense to look to a new model. I am hoping to make the change prior to xmas 2020/2021 and your review has been an excellent addition to my research. I will however, be a selfish B*****D and choose the R as opposed to the touring model. If the good wife wants to join me she can purchase the pillion rest (lol). One question I would love you to assist with is this... I totally agree that a bike such as this should have plenty of pop and crackle from the pipes and needs a soundtrack to match it's magnificent road presence. What is the situation regarding aftermarket slip ons? There will obviously be in the planning stage by different manufacturers. I has the Arrows full titanium race system on my Speedy and it was brilliant. I note that the exclusive TFT model (oh I wish I had the coin to get order one of those before they sold out) has the Arrows slip ons as OEM so I assume they would be available (at the usual ridiculous price) as an aftermarket add on for the R? will appreciate your feedback. Cheers from sunny Queensland, Australia.
Is there any bike you haven't been waiting to ride for ages Andy!? 😂 Always liked, and continue to watch, your easy going and inoffensive reviews, but the "usual style in the usual way" might need a reboot soon. A fair bit of repetition and errors, sorry. Maybe its just because I'm obsessed by this bike but I felt a bit flat after this one. You are the only review so far to comment how good it is at 2mph! Excellent slow control work on tbis one 😉and good to have some balance to counter the more spirited reviewers. Yes I'm looking at you 44 teeth. But for me Lamb Chop has got you beat on this one 😉 Roll on the long term and GT reviews, I can watch videos on this amazing bike all day. Hopefully you will be a bit more enthused in the next one, although I suspect your Speed Twin will come out on top! 😁
Sorry to disappoint you Keith - I’ve purposely cut down on bike reviews this year and am now quite selective about the ones I ride so it’s likely I’ll continue to ride bikes I was looking forward to doing so (as I turn down most bikes I’m not personally interested in)...and yes Chopsie does a great review doesn’t he, I’m a huge fan....
Good of you to respond Andy, thank you 👍That explains why you look forward to them all! Looking forward to hearing what you thought about the rocket after a week. 🤞
Have you ridden the R without the optional flyscreen? Curious whether it makes any considerable difference. (By the way you're wrong about the TFT, it's great, and the joystick is a non-issue since you shouldn't faff with it on the move anyways ;)
Hi 👋🏻 which heated gloves you wearing on review ? I’m been looking heated gloves but struggling to find one not bulky and toasty warm inside . 👍🏻 good review and full of information I need to know. Thank You 😊
Swap the display for bmw one, increase angle for front forks and wee less fat front tyre, make the tank wee bit wider and get option to move front pegs up front and it will be amazing looking bike. And yes put the keyless lock to the tank cap and remove this silly plastic key cap. Not much to make it amazing cruiser.
Love this!!! I’d like the more touring version I think .. Once again would have to get it customised, I’d also want the passenger pillion seat thing gone, get a Barry White throaty exhaust on it etc … I’d be on it all the time!!!
I really wish I knew how to use multiple devices like you do . While keeping voice control .. your videos are hands down the best quality... do you do alot of editing?
In a world where bikes are clinically good and take themselves way too seriously. Comes a bike that makes absolute no sense, it's totally ridiculous, the size, the weight, the looks..... I love mine. ❤️ It's perfect in every way 😁 just wish the weather would improve. Dag nab it!!
Thank you for posting. To me, you did not look very comfortable on the bike. You seemed stretched out from your sitting position to the handle bars. Am I wrong?
TheMissendenFlyer good work finding these things 👍🏼 I’m thinking of giving the Knox urbane pro shirt a try this year, if I can decide on the outer/over jacket options
Thanks for another great review, highly appreciated. Well it's a real nonsense bike with some oddities, but I love it. Especially the R version with the normal seating position. Sadly only available in black and red and not in the two colour design of the GT. But anyway, the price is off the charts. At least for me.
That back tyre looks a bit past it - no much tread and very squared off. I don't like those hang out at the back mud guards - I can's see much point in having that wheel hanging out there and mud and crud going all over the back of the bike. The fuel cap on the rhs of the tank is a good idea = air bubble on that side when filling on the side stand. Having a filler door is a bit much - a filler cap like that on the BMW RT would be a better option. That engine is a monster and with only 18 litres capacity would be a pain on the long hauls around Aussy. I would also have to explore a bigger screen if it has one - keep the bugs off on the country runs. Thanks for another great review of a great bike.
I have had my older version rocket3 for 3 years and really enjoy it. If I could change one thing it would be the position of the foot pegs. On a long ride it gives me a pain in the back of my knee, probably because the weight of the whole leg is hanging on the peg. Anyway very informative review thanks TMF
Personally I prefer metal-shinny and chromed bike looks ranging from handle bar, wheels to drive shaft, etc. Today most bike manufacturers have adopted the black-out design theme for most bike models to attract younger buyers. I wish they can go back to the old days with a lot of shinny chrome parts incorporated into their bike design.
Having just seen one in the flesh if you go beyond the sheer dimensions of the beast I was disappointed that it lacks the quality of some other models built by Triumph. At the end of the day the Rocket is avery expensive bike and the flagship of the brand. Got to agree that the switch gear and dash need to be upgraded. As always an excellent review. Thanks Andy.
Another great review... but the one I'm REALLY looking forward to is the V-Strom 1050 ! Please compare it to your GS.... I'm trying to decide which to get and your review might just tip the balance. Regards and thanks.
It’s looks like a great bike, but at £19500.00 - to NOT have heated grips and tyre pressure monitor inc. as standard is plain wrong. Agree, although I am a TFT fan having had the first gen on my Triumph 765 RS and now the sublime TFT on my GS, this offer on the Rocket is poor. The fuel tank cap looks cheap and what’s that metal bar/ strip that runs along the tank with a latch (looking thing) at the end of it by the handle bar - does that release the metal strip or is it cosmetic? I want to like this bike , I really do, but some parts look a bit cheap on it which is disappointing. Interested to see what the turning circle is like and how you navigate it around the garage when the engine is off!
Looks like a very highly desirable big Hogg. Agree it would look much better with the twin clocks rather than tft . Look forward to when you can really unleash that torque .
It doesn't feel heavy or awkward. Quite the opposite. It's very neutral in the corners, you lean and turn and it responds impeccably. Anyone who is saying it's too big is either a midget or hasn't ridden one.
I don’t know about these new models but some of the older ones I’ve seen in the past are always covered in rust and they improve the quality of those vehicles?
Looks like a hoot to borrow for a day. Overall just doesn’t do anything for me. But wow that bike was so dirty I thought you inadvertently went off roading.
It is ridiculous but also beautiful. I would love one as a third or fourth bike. Guess I would like to see the manual handling in the station car park test :)
I the cylinder head and its port sizes and internal oils and coolant passages line up if the cylinder head block could be flipped, barring reworking & recrafting the cam drive.
I've been waiting to see if those little baffle looking things in the exhaust are removable, based off the images they provide on there site and the reavel they weren't there. Curious cause if so, may help with getting rid of the muted sound it has?
i don't care for a lot of reviewers on here as they mostly read specs and say "fun ride" or "hated it". i will specifically wait for the TMF review for any bike I'm considering or wondering about. the comprehensive breakdown you do on all the bikes are incredible so dont skip a bike if you think too many other people have done it please, im sure a lot of people trust you as our go to reviewer on YT.

same here. He's influenced one of my purchases and I couldn't be happier.

TheMissendenFlyer cheers for the reply. Hope you’re well
Phil Anderson this is awesome. Happy to know you saw something on here and then that helped you pull the trigger. Hope your ride is sweet my friend. Stay safe
Love it. Not at all practical but that is exactly the point. It's for having amazing amounts of fun on.
What a stupid motorbike... I really want one.
Haha, same
Lol
Exactly my thoughts! 😂
"Who in their right mind would build a bike like this?! I HAVE to have one!" 🤤
It doesn’t matter how many reviews a bike has had...it’s not reviewed until TMF has a go.
I wouldn’t want one but I love the fact it exists.
The bike that makes zero sense, isn't practical but appeals to me in *every* way that is measurable and immeasurable. I love that thing. Enjoying the TMF 'practical' approach to the most excessively excessive machine on the planet. LOL.

I am thinking seriously about purchasing this bike here in the US, and your videos on this is a great help. Thank you!
No problem!
Was watching this great review whilst cooking dinner, when my wife (who’s not a biker at all) came home and said “is that the Missenden Flyer your watching” I’m obviously watching your channel to much 😂
That’s not possible!
TheMissendenFlyer She laughed at that 😂
Quality Triumph motorcycle, looks beautiful. One problem, should be round retro clocks as you say, good review TMF thanks.

Wow, I was just thinking of asking you if you could do a review on this bike, I just saw one the other day. Brilliant. Thank you
Good first impression review! Looking forward to the next instalment of your Thailand adventure 🇹🇭 always makes me happy when it pops up on my phone 👍
Great review and you take the bike on one of my favourite routes, Great Missenden!
Good to hear from you again thanks for the video it's really appreciated as I am not deadly tall either so it's nice to hear your views on the bike as regards to the realistic way anyone would be using the big triumph in the UK also bonus it's now in the winter season great
I'm going to be doing a test ride review next week and I can't wait fingers crossed that the weather holds out. great review as always
Hey, I learned a new word, 'mahoosive'. Thanks. The Rocket III is beautiful, not as gorgeous as my Harley, but mahoosively beautimus. ;)

A bike inspired by Allen Millyard. While it's bit OTT for me, it does look nicely made and finished.
@Mike W search for his v10 viper bike, kinda looks like it iguess

Yes that would be part of the joy of owning one, like my Panigale, it’s a work of art....
Agreed, it's a good looking bike.

As per usual brilliant real world review. Most definitely a biker doing bike reviews. Thanks TMF
Thank you Liam!
One of the best looking bikes IMHO in a long time.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...
Hi TMF,
Nice review 👍. A perfect description of the bike was the comparison with Hot Wheels 😀. Just over the top, eye catching and ginormous. Stay tuned

Rider modes: 'Rain, road, sport, coffin' ? . . . . . . They haven't left much room for knobblies & it needs a Paris/Dakar tank.
That’s an awesome looking beast, have to agree with what you said about the fuel cap, for 20k expect a bit more.
If they put two classy analog dials (to match the front two headlights) instead of the digital display, they would have nailed that piece of the design element. Still very, very nice bike!!

Each to their own and all that but it does nothing whatsoever for me. I would never wish to own one, but I am really glad it exists.....
This bike has the feeling of a bike that a lot of people like, but very few actually buy
Yep. I'm selling my V2K and everybody WANTS it, but nobody wants to BUY it.
Fantastic looking bike and I think the TFT suits it, much better than the square i pad type. Also sounds good to me, don't like a noisy bike, and worth every penny. If only I could afford one.

Great review. I don't like the lack of rear fender with the wheel hanging out, as well as all the mud and debris thrown all over. The rest looks great! Cheers!

Cheers.
Thank you. A comprehensive review.
Great video as always.
One question you sort off answered, when you test ride bikes do you ever get the suspension set up as for preload , rebound, compression and sag and have you done this on your own bikes. If not is it something you would think about doing and if so would be will you do a video on it.
Thanks Andy. 👍🏻
Not something i tend to tinker with - have done on my Street Triple but that's about it....
Great another Pommie review on damp greasy roads.........a dry run would be good! Awesome bike.
Very sadly I agree with you
Totally agree.
I love it, what a beast. Great review, shame about the rain. Cheers Andy.
Stay tuned!
Am I the only one who doesn't like this bike?
While I can admire the numbers, I don't desire it at all.
You are not alone
Definitely doesn't float my boat either .
Weighs more than a boat too 👍
But converted into the 'Mother of all Snowmobiles' by Christmas time? . . . "Igor - my coat!" : )
I don’t like it, just smacks of trying to over compensate for something
Fair review, I was blown away with the job triumph had done on the bike especially the weight management, however it is not on my radar, hopefully there are enough people wanting to win at top trumps when ordering an urban cruiser to make it a success, maybe a bigger tank would have broadened its appeal a little
If I owned one I'd put a decent sized fairing and more upright, touring bars. Lack of range is a concern, prefer bikes with a longer range.
Elton John had the first one off the production line. He’s always been a Rocket Man! 😉😉🎹
Different kind of "Rocket Man", is Elton, if you get my drift.
2 funny 2Timone7
Finally! Twist the throttle, I saw dry roads. Looks like the rear tire is about done?
A bike that reminds me of some outrageous Mr Millyard creation. Way out of my price range but I reckon it looks great.
Loved your videos from India🤘
I don’t know if the Arrows are available - I hope do as it defo needs a bit more volume....
FLYER: "if Hot Wheels made a motorcycle, it would be this"
ME: "sign me up"
Been waiting for the MF review of this bike!!
Thank You 😊
Keis G601s
Swap the display for bmw one, increase angle for front forks and wee less fat front tyre, make the tank wee bit wider and get option to move front pegs up front and it will be amazing looking bike. And yes put the keyless lock to the tank cap and remove this silly plastic key cap. Not much to make it amazing cruiser.
Love this!!! I’d like the more touring version I think .. Once again would have to get it customised, I’d also want the passenger pillion seat thing gone, get a Barry White throaty exhaust on it etc … I’d be on it all the time!!!
I Really-Really Love This Bike
I love this bike, Good review as usual
I really wish I knew how to use multiple devices like you do . While keeping voice control .. your videos are hands down the best quality... do you do alot of editing?
Yes!
Am I wrong?
It was a stretch for sure but not uncomfortably so....
I thought exactly the same! Looks like his arms are 5 feet long! Who designed that TFT?
Jacket update : what this one???
Any kit reviews coming. 🤓
Always enjoyable watching TMF 👍🏼 🏍
This is my Blauer HT Winter pull - review in due course!
TheMissendenFlyer good work finding these things 👍🏼 I’m thinking of giving the Knox urbane pro shirt a try this year, if I can decide on the outer/over jacket options
Pretty sure you can get them at Sportsbike Shop - link below my video....
Thanks for another great review, highly appreciated. Well it's a real nonsense bike with some oddities, but I love it. Especially the R version with the normal seating position. Sadly only available in black and red and not in the two colour design of the GT. But anyway, the price is off the charts. At least for me.
Me too alas!
Definitely your new GoPro is a little dark. Fantastic video as always TMF. 😃
Cheers!
Good first introduce to rocket 3 Tmf. 20k is a lot but love it .thanks from Danny
Agreed!
Great video mate!
Great vid. I cant see any pillion footrests but looking at the seat who would want to sit on the back of that !
A bike that heavy needs an emergency Anchor. How about the car park walk around?
It doesn't feel heavy or awkward. Quite the opposite. It's very neutral in the corners, you lean and turn and it responds impeccably. Anyone who is saying it's too big is either a midget or hasn't ridden one.
I don’t know about these new models but some of the older ones I’ve seen in the past are always covered in rust and they improve the quality of those vehicles?
Can't wait to see your 'whats it like to wash' review after that Andy?
Morning TMF! What kind of gloves do you usually use, I mean heated gloves? Are you happy with that one you're wearing? Thx
I use Keis G601s - love ‘em!
@@TheMissendenFlyer Thx a lot!
Test rode the newer storm version and it blew me away. Now I really want one.
👍 Good review on a cool looking bike
A blind man would be pleased to see that TFT
Another cool video Flyer :) How is Your right leg doing? Doesn't get roasted by the exhaust?
No, no issue
@@TheMissendenFlyer I'm shocked loookig at the size of the pipes and where the leg is. Amazing job done by Triumph.
Agreed - heat off the engine just wasn’t an issue...
Did the hill start assist stay on when you turned off the ignition. It doesn't on my GSA as I found out when I stopped on a hill.
Yes good point - I hate that about the BMW - didn’t notice on this but I suspect it’s the same....maybe someone can correct me if I’m wrong??
Looks like a hoot to borrow for a day. Overall just doesn’t do anything for me. But wow that bike was so dirty I thought you inadvertently went off roading.
It is ridiculous but also beautiful. I would love one as a third or fourth bike.
Guess I would like to see the manual handling in the station car park test :)
So far TMF, which one would you buy between diavel & rocket 3?
Rocket 3
Two of these engines bolted together in a V formation to make a V6, put it in an Aerial Atom type car... Monster.
Another great review TMF. Out of interest, what jacket are you wearing in the review?
The back end does not match the front. Front is great, back looks odd as if bits are missing. Nah. Its a miss for me. Great review TMF as ever.
Fair enough - it's all a matter of personal taste isn't it....
WOW!!! The bike look's Huge , you look so small on it, luckly your a skilled rider great video!!!
Thank you! I’m not a skilled rider but I’ll take the compliment!
