HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 4 июл 2024
- Fresh off of separate tours supporting two of hardcore's flagship bands, Drain and Kublai Khan - Colin and Bo reconvene to recap the events of the first time both of them have been on tour concurently since the inception of HardLore.
Harms Way was part of Kublai Khan's second leg of their recent U.S. tour alongside Pain of Truth, and Twitching Tongues joined up with Drain, Terror and more for a few shows on the Good Good Tour. Hardcore is in a beautiful place right now and we're both grateful to be along for the ride and to witness it's growth and prosperity in real time. Thank you all.

"Moshing with tears in my eyes" perfectly describes my experience during the entire Have Heart set in Detroit.
Can't believe the Hardlore discord isn't called Hardcord
Atlanta has a great hardcore scene right now. Kongstyle, Knife Wound, Deal With It, Can’t Keep Up, Strangle You, Numbskull, Ballistic Ax, Symbiote, Living in Fear, Turn Cold, Die With Me, the list goes on. Great smaller venues in the area as well. Hardcore is alive and well in Atlanta boys.
I'm from Virginia but I heard them say smaller HC in Atlanta is having a rough patch and I went "what??" out loud. Lots of good shit coming from there over the past couple of years, especially in the Designated Moshers Unit realm
Turn Cold and Living in Fear are haaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrddddddd.... So much fun, I can't wait to see them again .... I'm 49 and I'm going to spin kick and risk it all for Turn Cold
shout out Knife wound, always playing Jacksonville
agonize dudes from savannah rock
Makes me happy to hear that. When I was in high school in the early 2010's and hanging out in Little 5 Points, it was hard getting exposed to "real" hardcore in a time dominated by Rise Records bands. I still remember some of the old heads in the scene who exposed me to Terror and TUI, and that music stuck with me. Come 2019, I check back in, and the scene is vibrant in a whole new way. Beautiful. Hardcore never dies.
Hardlore and Elden Ring DLC in one day, one of the most blessed Thursdays of all time
The Madi clip gave me chills. So amazing.
meeting bo on this tour made me realize that Colin is not the 7 foot giant I envisioned him to be in my head
lol wat
How tall ??
I'm happy that Bo tried cookout, he knows what's up now
My favorite part of this podcast is when you gave Ringworm their flowers. 💐
Hardlore has to be my current favorite food podcast on RUclips.
Smoothest transition to the AG1 public service announcement yet. Can't wait till they drop AG2. It's gunna be lit.
Need a Hardlore x Ian Fidance crossover
maybe if ian would stop bein a hatin POS on sonny
So that Ian can laugh at himself
the whole time and talk over everyone?? This is a terrible idea.
@@joshuaclouser1415 I feel like Colin and Ian would riff and it would be hilarious. What podcaster doesn’t interrupt and talk over everyone?
spooky intro. Bo is becoming a believer. the end is near guys.
it does feel like hardcore music is in a boom period right now
Is lionheart from California? While every lyric is "Lionheart, California. Let's go!"
Remember that person referred to Colin as “Cloin”? Still on that.
Haywire getting people going side to side during the sweet Caroline intro will always be sick
who up harding they lore rn?
menace...
@@197Media i was right on time today
I mean who isn’t?
Bo, we've had like 2-3 tornados in the city limits of Chicago in the last couple of years. They happened during daylight hours, so you're forgiven if you were asleep at the time, but you might want to work on your weather radio setup.
colin having stage freight with pissing is so funny to me.
7:29 “you got a fast car” Colin you are stooooopid 🤣
Dang, no wonder they didn't have my size in ATL.
I’m old head. 47
Already got my Kublai Kahn tickets for Cleveland and of course I am going to see Harms Way when they come here in November with carcass and hatebreed.
I’m from Cleveland
Stoked but we need a sheer Terror episode!
How bout nooo!
lol random, prolly would never happen
By any chance does anyone remember what episode it was where they explain the origin of couple tracks?
Jasta I’m pretty sure
Rip Lou Reed, couple tracks😂
@@VitrificationOfBloodneed a Todd jones episode 😂
Bad albums by great bands is the one I think
John Edwards is a homie of mine. Love seeing the homie getting his flowers
Disorder Vinyl is helping keep Atlanta HC strong!
I missed the Memorial Day show at Soundstage because of the tornado. Sooooooo devastated! My brother was there and had the best time
Next time you’re in the DC/MD/VA area I’ll take you to Fogo 😂
The other big Quiet Riot banger is Metal Health. You’ll know it for sure
brooo yes thank you for speaking on 40 watt
Bell Witch literally a couple tracks
🤣
Kublai Khan has to be one of the hardest working bands in the world currently.
Their set from LDB 2024 is my favorite of theirs on RUclips.
lifetime Louisiana resident here, hearing bo say he loved the deep south made me smile. One day we will have a good enough hardcore scene down here for the bands to regularly come thru. Also with the southern prom kids venn diagram being a completely different circle, there is probably some sleeper hardcore kids in there. With it being such a foreign scene to the deep south alot of us had to keep that side of us hidden to avoid being ousted from involvement, bc we had nowhere else to go if so lol
Ngl I was shocked when I found out about Capra. I was like “where the hell were these guys??”
I feel like heavy music in general is in a slump when it comes to Louisiana, especially for like mid-tier bands. I’m sure we have some local heavy bands and that shows are happening but I imagine it’s a lot better for them to hit the grind out in Texas than over here.
KublaiKhanTX taking out Sunami, Judiciary, and Momentum was one of the best shows I have ever been too, as well as my lovely fiances' first hardcore show.
People sleep and hate on Momentum
@@the_real_tay_loud2072it's a damn shame too. They not only have incredible riffs, but they are incredible songwriters too.
Fantastic episode! For as awesome as Momentum, Judiciary and Sunami were, I was bummed Harms Way wasn’t on the first leg. Woulda been so cool. I’ve gotten into all your bands from watching Hardlore and hopefully will be able to see you guys live at some point. Really looking forward to that Vinny Stigma episode btw!
Great episode as usual. Can’t get enough hardlore! One thing I’d like to correct…I did in fact go to the 10 for 10 hxc tour at the metro in Chicago. But you’re right in the point you were saying. It definitely wasn’t at capacity back then. I also went to the good good tour day 2 at the metro in Chicago and that mother fucker was packed. Phenomenal show by all. ❤
Bo probably saw Luka Dončić, not Nikola Jokić. Jokić plays for the Nuggets, and the Nuggets were eliminated to early to play the Mavs.
i was gonna say. I was flabbergasted but I don't expect Bo to know the ins and outs of the NBA
I'm glad to hear you guys rep Houston loved seeing you play and glad to see you understand how us Houstonians Live in this wet seasson thats barely started LUL
Being from SoFlo, it’s super cool to hear the shoutout to Equinox. Jeff has always been a hardcore hustler for us down south.
No one outside of Cleveland will understand Mushroomhead and their relationship to HC. You ain’t a Cleveland hardcore kid if you didn’t have to sit through literally 40 numetal bands at Peabodys to see Ringworm play at 2am on a Mushroomhead headliner show and be prepared do brawl with some of the wackiest people in the world.
As a STL native, I would agree that the fubar area is the only part of town, aside from the duck room on the loop
cookout’s banana pudding shake is the ichor of the gods. s tier shake.
Went to the Boston and Baltimore shows. Thought the Boston show was much better. Both ruled, though.
Next year is 20 for justice replaced by revenge not 25th. I wrote the riffs for devils kiss and went over it with them in April 2004, went back to Cleveland in October and heard the unfinished mix
Good luck is so good.. my favorite TT song
I pressed 👍 right on the suggodeez
Shout out Matt! Buffalo local
South Florida Equinox Booking mentioned. SFL is popping off in the DIY space right now.
Shout out Above Death, Brainwashed, and All But One booking.
Brothers, a gizzard isn’t what you think it is. The thing you referenced is a wattle. A gizzard is part of the digestive system
I was at that Little Rock show and that sounds guy was straight ass cheeks. Could barely hear guitars all night. Still a killer show but you all should have sounded massive in that room!
colin how did you forget about king nine ?
how do we get the 15% code for the record store on patreon?
Colin should hit up Olympia Washington for coffee, he'd love it
Based on his coffee shop specifications, I’m shocked he doesn’t play the PNW more often. That’s pretty much every single coffee place up in Vancouver too lol
Just wanted to give a correction. The mural in Dallas was for sure Luka Doncic not Jokic. No hate but wanted to contribute 😂
TRUE CLASSIC blank tee's have my vote
Referring to yourself as a Cherubic Angel is fucking crazy
warmed my antipodean heart to hear GC dropped on an American podcast
I’ve been digging into hammer of the witch it goes pretty damn hard I just fuck with the worm
harding my lore rn
It’s hardlore time
Need Matt from KKTX episode so bad!!
there's a mini
@@foxwomb I know I what the whole thing!! Plus he’s at home taking care of the old man I’m sure he’s got some down time to jump on a link
@@JohnnyGingyas someone who’s currently going through the same thing right now, I doubt Matt’s first thing he wants to do with his “down time” is be on a podcast. Also you have to think that these guys have shit planned out for weeks and weeks at a time.
@@roccomastroianni6153 yeah true you never know everyone is different. I know he’s said in the past he likes to stay busy. He’s always got something going… music, hair cutting, tattoos.
Shouts out to Bmore and Shake shack 🖤
Violent Nature shoutout ✅ Ohio shoutout ✅ LFG
Mushroom head has routes in the core baby! Couple a tracks…😂 not many but a couple…😂
starting a song with "there is no god", is still hard as fuck
Dunkin coffee rules, savory food is inedible, donuts are excellent
As a travel for work man, sheetz slays wawa
Is hard lore coming to Des Moines for knotfest
Really wanna see Eddie Kingston come out to “Violent Breed” by Queensway 😤
I was there for that HTX show and yeah I felt really bad for that dude and his wife. Unfortunate how shit happens but I hope he’s fully recovered now
What happened? I was upstairs and just saw people circle around the guy
I really hope you recorded an episode with Aaron!
''Cum On feel The Noize''(original title) is a cover song, it's not a Quiet Riot original. The band is Slade, Uk first skinhead band turned Glam Band.
Can y’all do a tier list episode for sit in restaurants??
King Nine also played Boston
Im sorry about the catering at tied down fest colin. I shouldnt have eaten the jets pizza 😢
sherman fucking texas
903 BABY
10 for 10 was at the Metro in Chicago haha. Granted, that was 10 bands for $10 to pack that place back then.
14:20 this is now in the top three things from Hardlore I relate to the hardest
Colin is so real
What’s up with the lack of coverage on the Palladium show and LION crew set ????
That show felt monumental. Loved every moment. Only thing would change is obv no barricade.
It had not happened yet when we recorded this, which is why we laughed
Bogarts, Cincinnati... Come see us
Colin forgot a band when talking about Boston. King Nine!
If you guys like protein bars, look up built bars. They’re delicious and taste like marshmallow
Irish handcuffs, known as double fisting in the UK ;-)
Shout out Ace of Cups!
Todd Youth or Chuck Biscuits has the most impressive hardcore resume.
Barebell protein bars are fucking incredible
Dunkin > Starbucks all day!
1:02:14 Coke Zero sighting
43:41 oooh shit.
My lore is rock hard Rn
Can confirm, I agreed that guitar music was dead around 10 years ago haha
Killed it in New Orleans. Completely worth the wet ass.
Alright, ill listen to ringworm
I agree Bo. It is abit silly.
Jolin & Jo
play Green Hell
Trending Tiktok song thats fire... Million Dollar Baby
