Air on trail is a must!! My girlfriend hates when I air up and down but I will never go without on off road trails lol the ride quality/less work for the suspension is worth it. Love the truck. Tacomas best color ever.

why not use a portable compressor that plugs into lighter or outlet in the bed of the truck? Cheaper and might be better

Good compressors will draw 30+amps at full tilt. Most factory outlets are only rated to 10amps. If the compressor is under the hood, it can be plugged straight to the battery

I just bought one of those - a battery/jumper/compressor combo from Costco (approx. $125 CAD). I have yet to try the compressor aspect, but part of the appeal of the ARB is definitely the permanency of it - out of sight and out of mind, always with you, and never out of charge. The unit I bought would take hours to charge via 12v (not sure how long with the bed plug), so to have onboard air would be super convenient.
