Congrats Chloe on 100k, well deserved... Maybe the best Tacoma channel, has been really helpful in upgrading my truck, especially the Pop & Lock video and recent tire size comparison.
Congratulations on 100K! When you were talking about how your channel is DIY projects you do in "free time" is probably what I like most about your channel. You aren't in a shop, with all the power tools and endless supply of accessories. You're a 9 to 5-er like most of us, and are doing the work in a residential garage. I just goes to show how possible these projects are for the average person.
If you fabricate a lid I'd suggest adding some low profile foam or rubber insulation around the edge to prevent water getting inside the compartment. Magnets are a great idea BTW!
You can replace the electrical tape with a rubber strip like they use on fender flares. It comes with 3M tape on it for an easy installation. Also you could use a clear plexiglass with magnets on the ends to give a cleaner look. You could also use the black rubber strip on it as well. You can also add black home door weather striping on top and bottom that is also put on with 3M tape. This would seal up the space between the two brackets you screwed on so that you stay dust free. I would also add that strip on the inside of the brackets to make a completely sealed plexiglass.
If I may add to the electrical tape finish ideas...the black plastic edging used as door edge protectors would work as well...just cut corners in a 45° fashion (like a picture frame) would give a real clean look.
One thing I would do differently cause I installed the all pro version is use a silicone sealant instead of the sticky tape to seal the extra holes. It did not last in the rain up here in the NW.
Did you consider using door trim instead of electrical tape to cover edges...would be a little cleaner and wouldn't have to replace regularly due to weather.
Watching you blow up the past couple years has been so fun. Chloe you rock! Love the install too. Air compressors are so handy... even to help others that have flats. I carry a Smittybilt for now but something permanently mounted would be great.
Congrats on the 100K milestone! No Instagram for me, but my 2 fave videos you uploaded (and I installed) were the Seat Jackers and Cat Shield. I wish you continued success and Taco enjoyment!
Your videos are awesome. What would be an even better series would be to show us how you trained your dog to help you when it put into place and held the compressor box. 🤣
i just use a plug in compressor with the 120 volt outlet and an extension cord. I can set it up and sit in the drivers seat and watch the pressure gauge if its cold outside. its not as cool as this but cost me about 60 bucks and no work to modify the truck.
You're so precious to us! I've just got my 2022 Tacoma Sports a few months ago, and found your videos, and yes I've made some improvements to this wonderful truck... Happy Wife Happy Life! Congratulations and please keep us up to date, and sharing all those wonderful people who help us stay safe, and happy on the roads of life.
I don't care what anyone says. I love your use of electrical tape. You are a great and well-rounded individual. You're smart, charming, beautiful, and your cheerfulness is like the whip topping. You're a great influencer, and I'm hoping my daughter looks up to you soon.
Congratulations Chloe 🎉🎈🥂!!! 100K!!! We watch your videos because you are awesome 👍!!! My favorite video was when you got Cody as a puppy 🐕 😀. I hope RUclips sent you a plaque or something 🤷♂️. Keep up the great content Chloe! ♥️🌮🐶🐾
Congratulations! Love your videos. Use some rubber channel around the edges . Trim like what is used around the front of the bumper when you cut it to install your front bumper
The first video I watched was about how you detail your wheels. I have the white lettering on my tires facing out and am always looking for a better way to clean them. I also like the wiring videos because I am not as comfortable with wiring and electrical projects. The only problem with the wiring videos is when you show the wiring diagram I have no idea what the different squiggly lines represent. I like older vehicles so I look forward to the land cruiser project. I find it helpful when you show some of the aftermarket products available and how useful they are.
Love it I’m gonna do mine soon but you could take that electrical tape off and put the rubber u channel edge trim so it will look a lot more cleaner love all the stuff you do on your truck! Thanks for sharing!
Great job keep up the diy videos. Suggest you use fiberglass resin for the edges that you cut into the bed. It’ll help prevent fraying and after that is done you can put some rubber edging to help seal up the cover your going to put on.
Would it be a good idea to intall the fuse on the inside of the box rathet then at the back? And although the electric tape seems to really work well to cover the edges how would a U shaped hard plastic work for this purpose? But then again it might not be needed!? Also what about a cover for the end of tje brass fitting of the compressor? Amd finally for a cover magnets seem a great idea but what about 1 or 2 horizontal hindges at tje top with a magnet at the bottom too to keep it in the open position?
The switch and air hose outlet fitting are not Particle when you fully load up the truck for camping ,it is very difficult to connect the air hose and when the item move around while driving, stuff may hit the switch Accidental turn it on, it is still a clean set up but need some improvement.
Chloe, Great video. I just bought a 2020 TRD OR and have binged your videos for two weeks. I have an off topic question from this video, What are the black and tan cases in the bed of your truck? Looking for storage options. Thanks and keep up the great work!
Congratulations Chloe, you certainly deserve it your videos are well done and informative. Because of your videos I upgraded several items on my Tacoma
I cannot for the life of me find the video where you described what you used to secure the pro eagle pole to the side of your truck. Could you tell me what it is again?
Great video, I'm getting ready to add OBA in the back of my truck, my concern is the size wires you ran, it seems that 10awg wire is to small, I noticed when you checked the voltage, you didn't have a full 12 volts... has that caused any problems?
I can see two minor problems that may come up. Anything moving around in the bed could hit the switch just turning it on or worse damaging it. Second problem is similar with the hose connector. Perhaps install the switch in the box and turn the connector 90 degrees to keep them out of the way of accidental damage.
It might’ve been nice to just have the quick connect for sticking out and have the whole compressor hidden behind the fiberglass. Do you think that would’ve worked?
I use my email all the time but used “Liberty” once. I don’t have much to say or add. My favorite video is when you added a fuse box to your taco. Congrats on your 100k. Your a very good video maker as well as a inspiration and instructor.
Congrats on the 100k! Favorite video would be the ones fitting the 285s. @Seoulrig. I ran my single Arb compressor in that same spot, cubby cover on, in my second Gen with a trifold. I had a lot of dust make it’s way int there and ended up removing it. Now it’s in a hard case, still in the bed.
is there a reason why a ground wire was ran to front of truck when you could of fastened the ground wire to the frame in back of truck? And is there a door you can put over compressor when not using it?
Congrats on 100k! My favorite video would be the desert does it seat jackers, or the oil change tools. I found your channel researching them. If I could make a recommendation, you should do a video for the Z precision 32oz cup holder mod. Pretty simple install, small buisness, something that honestly should’ve come standard on the tacoma. @Coldpunk
Yuuuppp. Congrats on hitting 100,000 Sub's!!!! Dual batteries would be nice, to run those extra accessories. Just saying from 40 year's of off-roading experience. 🙂😀😃💯👋🤞✌️👌👍☝️🤙🙌👏🙏

seriously. this channel is definitely one of my top 3 favorites!!!

U should put switch in with the air Compressor so u don't damage it in case u have to load something in your truck

You do a great job with video quality & teaching. You should be very proud of your accomplishment!!!

Glad your template worked... mine was a solid inch off... Very surprised but manageable!
Your videos are awesome. What would be an even better series would be to show us how you trained your dog to help you when it put into place and held the compressor box. 🤣
Congrats!! I would say my thing about your channel is that you support small businesses and truly use their products!

You should use automotive finishing trim. Same one people use when they cut their bumpers or fenders up.
I don't care what anyone says. I love your use of electrical tape.

Your vibe is lit I love watching these vids
Nice work but the mount will likely rust & get water & mud in the holes & connections. Needs to be sealed & accessible fuse. Hope it works out.
3d printing an external cover might be your best way to prototype. I am new to 3d printing, but I’d be happy to help!
Wow 🤩 congratulations on reaching 100k subscribers. You deserve it
Congrats on the 100k! You put out the best 🌮 content 🤙🏻

Hey Chloe, I always notice that compass on your watch. May I ask where you got that? Please and thank you. 😊
Hi! You can find them at various watch shops or on Amazon. Mine fits up to a 24mm strap. Hope this helps!

Congratulations 🎉🎊 on 100k subscribers Chloe you deserve it I enjoy watching your channel Im
Always learning more about trucks 🛻 on this channel 😎💪🏾
Great job, Chloe. I just found your channel and I'll keep watching. Interested in that Land Cruiser.
Congrats! I’m new to my 3rd gen Tacoma TRD offroad and really appreciate all you do!
SDHQ has a 15' Extension that goes from the compressor to the engine Bay. Then you just plug in your supplied wire harness.,
To cut the small hole for the switch. It works good to drill out the four corners first
The switch and air hose outlet fitting are not Particle when you fully load up the truck for camping ,it is very difficult to connect the air hose and when the item move around while driving, stuff may hit the switch Accidental turn it on, it is still a clean set up but need some improvement.
Great info! You’ve convinced me that I need a Decked Drawer system and now an air compressor. 😳
Another great video Chloe. Thanks for putting it all together and posting. I really liked it and may do this project on my Taco.
Congrats on the 100k! My favorite video would be the bed build comparison between your two trucks.
Nice job the only thing I would have done differently is put the fuse on the other side but excellent job
That way you don’t have to take it apart if the fuse blows
Chloe, Great video. I just bought a 2020 TRD OR and have binged your videos for two weeks. I have an off topic question from this video, What are the black and tan cases in the bed of your truck? Looking for storage options. Thanks and keep up the great work!

Did I miss something? Is there a cover or door available or will this be open to the elements? I don't have a tonneau cover.
Since I already have a locker, I utilized the locker wires in the harness to control other accessories since those wires were in the cab
I cannot for the life of me find the video where you described what you used to secure the pro eagle pole to the side of your truck. Could you tell me what it is again?

Would a 2nd gen 2015 trd sport have the same amount of space in the bed side?
Congrats on the 100k! Favorite video would be the ones fitting the 285s. @Seoulrig.

Chloe - My vote goes for your original 'underseat' location. But ... Thanks for the option 👍 😘
Do u need a bigger wiring kit? To put it in the bed?
I'd probably mount the switch higher just in case you have items rolling around the bed, they don't flip the switch on.
How do you change the compressor filter ?
Congrats on the 100K!
is there a reason why a ground wire was ran to front of truck when you could of fastened the ground wire to the frame in back of truck? And is there a door you can put over compressor when not using it?
Electrical edge guard would be best for the edges of the truck bed.
YOU DESERVE IT! Congrats!!!
Awesome work!
now you got 2 air compressors👏👏 i enjoy you.
Superb installation, looks factory.
Congratulations on 100k!!
Got rid of the bed stiffeners?
Is it normal for toyota tacoma fog lights to be hot?I have the stock fog lights for my tacoma thank you in advance
Nice install.
OK An idea, Buy the door for the LH side that yours did not come with and used that door to close were the compresor is located.
im thinking about going the 15lb. co2 tank route.
I want to know which is a better location: in the bed like this video, under the front seat, or under the hood? Pros/cons/opinions?
Congrats on the 100k! 🎉
That electrical tape is going to leave an oily mess around that area a few years down the road as the adhesive degrades.
How much feet of wire did you add to the wiring harness to reach the battery?
I have a question why does my tacoma make squeaky noises when I pass through small holes ?
Congrats on 100k! My favorite video would be the desert does it seat jackers, or the oil change tools.
I found your channel researching them. If I could make a recommendation, you should do a video for the Z precision 32oz cup holder mod. Pretty simple install, small buisness, something that honestly should’ve come standard on the tacoma.
@Coldpunk
Yuuuppp. Congrats on hitting 100,000 Sub's!!!!
Dual batteries would be nice, to run those extra accessories. Just saying from 40 year's of off-roading experience.
🙂😀😃💯👋🤞✌️👌👍☝️🤙🙌👏🙏
@danebliven I like all the review and install vids but found the catalytic shield install was most useful for me!
your a good kid! congratulations
Congratulations
Nategm1, I think my favorite video is just the ones where you try random mods/accessories and decide if there worth it or not lol
Masking tape makes a good pattern to follow with your cutting tool
That’s a great mod I like it good job
@TRD_TOYO congrats on the milestone, favorite is actually showing what's on your med kit!
Congratulations 👏
Congrats
I like the idea 😊
Where’s the decked unit? Oh wait, that’s in the other one.
Nice work!
@Jeffreysburrito , I love the cheap easy mods videos !! Congrats again !
Congrats. You rule
hey theres all the oil i cannot find at Walmart anymore... lol
so sad their raised the price from $19.99 to $29
dannydandan03, congrats on your 100k. I would like to see install on spot lights.
What do you do work wise beside RUclips ?
I am a Software Engineer
Chloe I love you
@claukizz90 - Favorite video is the underseat ARB compressor install!
Yay first. Love all your videos.
Heh. Unhealthy obsession with my Toyota Tacoma
Good video.
