Previous to buying this car, I had many years of observing people with radiator problems and I vowed to service this car's radiator more than recommended in the car manual which warranted the car for 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever came first. This truck's first issue of concern started in 2o19... A very strange rattle that would come and go under certain circumstances at first, seemed to get noticeably more consistent over the next 18 months until it finally broke! at 193k miles! No seasoned Toyota mechanic I took it to could find it and just told me it was the clutch throwout bearing so I just believed he knew whut he was talking about... Until he was dead wrong about it

My 1989 truck had great paint that was shiny 25 years later. The main thing that I miss that my 2003 or my 2021 does not have is the cup holder. In the summertime, the beverages would stay cool with the AC blowing on them, and in the winter, my coffee would stay warm with the heat blowing on that. One of the main problems that I had with my 1989 was that the clutch/brake bracket would shatter. I replaced the bracket three times in 25 years. Finally, I welded and reinforced it and I never had a problem again. Today, that truck is in Costa Rica. The guy I sold it to bought it for that purpose.

Good to see that Jeff was able to keep his vehicle in great shape. Always love to see vehicles that no matter what age you always take great pride in the repairs. Loved watching this video. Paul
