Just a couple things to consider when comparing these two compressors to one another. The MoreFlate is very much the same as many of the "other" china 60mm twin compressors rated at 300L. Which is 10.6cfm @ 0 psi. MoreFlate does provide a 30psi rating as well, which is 6.5cfm. And that will be under the best of conditions. Minimal air flow resistance from hose and connectors. ARB does also provide flow ratings as well. 6.16CFM at 0psi and 4.65CFM at 29psi. The advantage could still be leaning toward the MF twin. Hoses selection will likely determine which is quicker. On that, the SpeedFlate 4 tire inflater looks to have much better splitters and 1/4 ID traditional style air hose. While the Kracken uses completely different hose. Which they state is 3/8, which it is, but it is 3/8 OD. It is actually 1/4" ID as well. The quick connect splitters are very flow restricted though. Which is one of the reasons why the ARB was slower to refill your tires compared to the MF Twin. It might be better to compare the fill times using the same air hoses to get a better comparison. And while you are at it, two additional recommendations. High Flow Quick Connects and 3/8 ID air hose. Fittings are where the air flow typically gets restricted the most. Last thing. I know you have quite a bit of LifePo4 battery in the back of your Gladiator along with a good sized Inverter. This would allow you to use a Twin Cylinder 110V compressor. California Air Tools (SP-9421) is a 2HP model that flows 6.40 CFM @ 40 PSI. It's considerably quieter at 70db. And at $285 is very reasonably priced as well.
Love our speedflate 4x system. Although I have an older unit from when they first got going and really need to update the chuck to the style they use now. The single pawl holding the chuck on just isn't as ideal as the style TJ is currently using.
Testing has been done and with the air hose size and tire valve restrictions the hose makes no difference. The 1/4" hose can flow way more than a tire can take. In tools etc yes it's a noticeable difference

Thanks for the review. I have a Smittybilt 5.65 air compressor that is portable. It gets hot after inflating 4 tires but has never shut down because I can inflate all 4 tires in about 10 minutes including time to connect and disconnect each tire. I should probably get another hose and connectors to inflate at least two tires at one time. Your video shows me that 5.65 should be able to do that and it would run for maybe half the time which means longer life. I do like the portability but it takes up space in the back of my Wrangler. *Speed isn't everything.* In my book it's not even all that important, but I will admit it's nice. A big question is the difference in quality and longevity between the two manufacturers. I follow your great diy solutions and in my setup on jku I use a Anderson power pole to make still "portable" or fast removable so on the alligator clip (that have now Anderson power-pole too) can be used to jump start other rig or make portable the compressor if too much distance to other vehicles to inflate tire.. but now viewing this with "auto function" make me desire spend my money again!!!

Went with the arb and under seat mount for my gladiator for the reason of it being under the seat out of the way and out of the elements, but this is definitely an option for people to look at. This would be a good option for people wranglers to mount in the rear cubby

My arb duel compressor is 4 years old and does not miss a beat. Easily rebuildable too. But that auto shut off is bad ass. For the price it’s a great option. Either way. We win. I assume arb will come out with something better too. Competition is a good thing!

Great video. If I had the Gladiator with the extra room, I’d go for the Morrflate… but for my JL, space is at a premium and the ARB under the passenger seat is too big of an advantage…
Lol. Matt, now that I've watched your channel for so long. I get your personality and sarcastic humor. Thanks for the info. Curious to know about keeping intake / filter assembly clean on the old one with yours mounted outside your bed. Also, how about getting it wet. Any issues?

There's cheaper options...With a couple mods most anyone can do there's like $140 or so from TD-Distributing or also can find it by searching Trickflate. Otherwise there's some ARB clones that seem to be identical
Man I'm glad you came out with this today because I was just in a shop looking at ARB and just saw a youtube about the Kraken and was considering that. XD But.... I could certainly use the savings of the Morflate. =) I'll pass on the "booty and back massage" feature of the ARB ;) lol
I bought the NAPA unit about a year ago, modified it with a pressure switch and standard quick connector, I don't have the 4 tire setup yet, I'll build that in the near future. Won't say anything bad about ARB, but they are going to have to look at their market price or they will die on the vine.
Alot of people buying this same unit and rebranding it. I've ran across 20+ videos of identical compressors that's painted a different color or labeled different. Seems ARB sat around and let the Chinese knock offs not only catch up but beat them! I'll definitely be picking one of these up!
Dang bought an arb and had it delivered yesterday haha, I still think arb is the way to go for longevity. (Just trying to convince myself haha) I see people on forums talking about having had one for 10 plus years, and having it under the seat at all times seems better to me than a portable becuase I will need it and have forgot to bring it sometime, but everyone mileage may vary.
Definitely watching all of this. Getting one of these two for the Arkansas Off-Road Recovery truck soon so I've been curious which one would work better for airing up 6 tires rapidly.
Thanks for the video! Like many others here I’m shopping between the ARB and something priced within reason.. Have you had any opportunity or talked with anyone who’s had to take their tires up to a higher psi? I have an F250 on 33s (load range E) with a truck camper and I need to run upwards of 75 psi on the rears. My total weight is just under 10,000 pounds and I’m looking for a compressor that can handle that load and not leave me stranded when I need to air back up. This might just be the one that sways me away from the ARB.
Sure but then you have to carry around a heavy scuba tank and deal with getting it refilled. And if you happen to run out when refilling tires, you're screwed and need to carry an air compressor as a backup anyway.
@@OzarkOverlandAdventures not necessarily big scuba tank but a 4.5 liter is enough. I put a 300 psi regulator and it fills tyre very fast, no doubt air compressor is a solid solution, for me, itused to take 10-12 mnts per tyre as it was Japanese small compressor, as I have 4500 PSI Bauer Junior II compresssor, I made this scuba tank air system, I can easily fill it and for my garage, neumatic tools etc, I am using CNG tank 4500 psi, I fill it witth air and all the paint work, tyres, neuamtic tools, I run with it with 150 PSI regulator. Thanks for such a nice video. I am from Pakistan.
The ARB twin is Chinese I believe. You can find the exact same compressor without their name on it. I’ve seen green ones and I have the blue one same as ARB color. It’s the same box, wiring harness, mounting brackets, filters and so on. Everything’s the same for hundreds less.
Thanks for this video, we are about to be picking one of these up as well. Made the mistake of getting a cheap one from walmart. It gets the job done, but we are def looking for something more like this. You sellin that old one? 😅
Yeah!!! Makes no sense to get an ARB now that you showed us this! Great job! Not sure about the comment of not being able to air up one tire with the Morrflate; surely a simple solution. Any input on that?
@@OzarkOverlandAdventures I got a detailed response from Morrflate: "Their output is 4x the air flow that 1 tire can accept, this is due to the Schrader valve in the valve stem. If you were to use our TenSix and air up individual tires back-to-back you will damage the compressor. If you have a flat or just need to top off a single tire every now and then, this is totally safe to do as long as the compressor does not run longer than 2 minutes. So you would air up the single tire and then put the compressor away for a 58 minute break before using it again. If you are more interested in airing up single tires all the time, our FiveSix compressor is perfect for that application and is totally safe to use on single, 2, or 4 tires at a time."
Just ordered one of these for my JL. Curious if you have any thoughts where might be a good spot to mount it in the back of a JL? I might look into doing that down the road if I can figure out a good spot/way.
Next time if you can, I'd like to see how it does when all 4 tires start out a different PSI to see if when finished they are all the same. Also TFL Offroad RUclips channel gave a 10% off code for Thor which is exactly the same thing just badged differently. The least Morflate could have done is given you a code.
I would think the 10.6 could still be ran on single tires and get max flow. You mentioned it might not be beneficial due to flow rates. But I can use my Powertank at over 200psi with my morrflate and do all 4 tires together in under 2 minutes so they can handle the flow.
MoreFlate specifically states on their page that running it filling a single tire at a time limits the maximum run time to 2 minutes. In the past I've had quite a few of these 60mm, twin cylinder, 300L compressors burn up filling single tires at a time. I can see where filling multiple tires at the same time through high flow hoses could reduce the heat buildup considerably.
If you use a valve removal tool like the one from Milton or Airtec, you can use on a single tire no problem. The issue with single tire is leaving the Schrader valve in as it can only flow 2.5 cfm, so puts too much back pressure on the 10.6
CO2 tanks win when all that is considered is inflate time, that is for sure. I ran CO2 for a little while, but I always forgot to fill it up between uses. Some of these new twin cylinder compressors with high flow connectors and hoses are getting real close to CO2 speeds. And they never run out.
Nice video but i think your missing a major item is the ARB is 100% duty cycle the morrflate is 50%. The FLA is also about 30% lower. Perhaps due to moving more air. Also while reading morrflate website it says to use the 4 tire inflation to avoid back pressures on the compressor. They are giving you a warning because of a known problem? There is a use for everything. I personally like having 100% duty cycle. I dont need to keep track of how long the compressor has run for or cool down times when filling my tire or others. I personally have filled a wheel loader tire with my ARB cause it was the only compressor on the job site.
Considering I can air up my 38” tires in under 6 minutes, the Morrflate duty cycle of 20 minutes running and 10 minutes rest is irrelevant. I have no reason to run it longer than 20 minutes. It is specifically designed for 4 tire inflation systems which is why the warning.
Hey Matt, when you hard wire the Morreflate to your Jeep I noticed the display on the compressor is always on. It seems that could create a parasitic draw. Do you know of a way to shut the screen off?
All Gladiators have at least 4 bed plugs to run wires through. You do not have to drill into your bed to run wires. Just remember the rate at which the tires inflate is always going to be limited by the schrader valve. A schrader valve will give you a flow of 9.3 CFM at 14psi, the flow will drop off as the inside pressure gets closer to the supply pressure. He is right by filling multiple tires at once. It's a waste just filling 1 tire. At least this one puts out more cfm than the ARB. I'm always weary of numbers given by manufacturers though. Better to get an independent test done. That way you know the exact numbers.
This may have been answered here but I can't find it anywhere online. Does the morrflate have the same mounting hole pattern as the arb twin? I want a moreflate and want to mount it but everyone seems to only carry arb mounting options. Help please!
I don’t see why pressure at the compressor ought to be different from the pressure at the tires. From the output at the compressor to all four tires, it’s all one big chamber: they should all get to the same pressure (unless one tire started higher than the finishing pressure, in which case it would probably still be higher).
I’ve seen the Moorflate under other colors/brands for 169 and 239. Maybe the old versions maybe? I’ve been looking at Viair stuff mostly to replace the cheap one I bought in 2012. That one pops it’s fuse all the time now.
You mentioned that the Morrflate system puts out so much cfm that you should onlyvinflatex4ctires at a time. So if I get a flat tire on the trail, and plug it, can I use the Morrflate to air just that one tire? Thanks.
You should use a 4way to get max airflow but it's not necessary if you get a flat or something. They just call it out because people kept using single hoses to compare them to other compressors and it would skew the results.
@chrisjohnson6482 the morrflat can technically inflate a single tire at a time however a single tire valve cannot allow 10cfm through so this causes back preasure on the compressor leading to extra heat build up and a shorter duty cycle. It states on the product listing that if you are inflating a single tire you should only run for 2 minutes then give a 1 minute break and repeat until the tire is full. Failing to follow duty cycles can kill the pump. As advertised in this video it will likely work great but only of the key reasons for the ARBs price Tag is 100% duty cycle meaning it can run a wider variety of applications reliably then just a 4 tire inflation system
@@johnroberto5248 lol look like marketing strategy to get you to buy their 4way hose system I’ve notice when using the 4 way hose system it get hotter than using the one hose
Got 2 arb twin compressors, both 15 years old now have had 1 rebuilt each costing 35 dollars and they still can run a 100% duty cycle under the bonnet in the heat getting wet and dirty. I've done 2-3 cars non stop sometimes as I take out allot of beginners, they just park next to me and i air them up. I would like to see these Chinese rebrands do this, and or last for 15 years. If your using it as a weekend warrior it might last, It wont last with daily use. Not 15 years.
ARB pushes 5.4 CFM not 6.1 CFM and rightly said it is stupid expensive. For your information I have same air compressor from the same factory for less than $200

Thanks for the info. I literally had my cart full and ready to checkout when I got the notification for this video. 🤣 Although I got the standard and not the pro.
God, I love you bro. This compressor and the open road… yes!
Went with the arb and under seat mount for my gladiator for the reason of it being under the seat out of the way and out of the elements, but this is definitely an option for people to look at. This would be a good option for people wranglers to mount in the rear cubby
@@joegoesoffroad never had an issue with my Morrflate. You just gonna reply to all the comments here? It’s like the Morrflate beating the ARB hurt your feelings and you need to defend it. You do realize we own both, right?
@@joegoesoffroad no issues at all with the arb. Works great and we love the under seat mount. We bought it.
@@joegoesoffroadI personally don’t care what Innovative has. I wanted the kraken for multiple reasons 1) I loved the mounting system after watching a video 2) we are great great friends with Epic and I would love to show their system. And since you can’t seem to comprehend the video or what my husband has repeatedly said while you spam comments.. we paid for the ARB and his first Morrflate. He received the second one after being contacted about his liking the previous. With the changes, he removed the old one because it was better. Are you still rocking a flip phone with your innovative/ ARB system? Some times people want to upgrade. People can like different things.. it’s ok, I promise.
My arb duel compressor is 4 years old and does not miss a beat. Easily rebuildable too.
But that auto shut off is bad ass. For the price it’s a great option.
Either way. We win. I assume arb will come out with something better too. Competition is a good thing!
I believe that Morrflate is the same basic compressor as my MaxiTrac from Napa. Awesome compressor for the money!
You were happy with the older model and now with the new, I appreciate and respect your reviews. I’m sold on this model. Hope ARB understands that this is how the market should be regulated and balanced, custom feedback. I was close to getting the ARB, not any more. Thnx.
Any issues?
Never had an issue with the old one with dust or water for over a year in the bed. You can clean the filters easily.
I got the Five six Pro…works great
Thanks for this video. I am going to get the more flate compressor but broke some control arms so it has to wait. But great video and I madebthe right choice.
Hi Matt. Patreon member here. Another great video. I didn’t see the link in the video description and want to purchase one. Did I miss it somewhere? Thanks
Edit: I just saw it was a code and not a link. Purchase complete using your code. I can’t wait to get this thing! Thanks again! 🙏🙂
Heck yeah!!!
Thanks for this video. I have been looking at ARB but the price point is high. This is much more reasonable.
There's cheaper options...With a couple mods most anyone can do there's like $140 or so from TD-Distributing or also can find it by searching Trickflate. Otherwise there's some ARB clones that seem to be identical
I have loved my MORRFLATE!
Nice. And Tyler from Morrflate is a great dude too! (local)
agreed!
I never thought about the difference between the Jeep’s computer and the air compressor gauge.
Alot of people buying this same unit and rebranding it. I've ran across 20+ videos of identical compressors that's painted a different color or labeled different. Seems ARB sat around and let the Chinese knock offs not only catch up but beat them! I'll definitely be picking one of these up!
Nice new compressor buddy. Hey what made you choose the Offtrax Fennix orver the Patriot camper??
See comment on other video. Lol.
“Booty and back massage”😂. Send me two!
Awesome! Thank you for sharing!
Definitely watching all of this. Getting one of these two for the Arkansas Off-Road Recovery truck soon so I've been curious which one would work better for airing up 6 tires rapidly.
MORRFlate also make a kit for 6 tires at once :)
@@ah_z88 Interesting!
You are making it too easy to make a decision! I have a Tacoma with plenty of space in the bed. Thanks for the comparison. See you on the next one.
Right on!
The real question & deciding factor on value for money will be, which one is still working in 10yrs time!🤷♂️
DIY CO2 setup is a solid way to go also. Thanks for the video
Yes. But takes up space, adds weight, and could run out and must be refilled which can be a challenge depending on where you live.
You can connect hose and regulator to a high pressure scuba tank, which stores air at 4500 PSI, its fast and stores almost 20 tyres air.
I am from Pakistan.
you're costing me money again...lol. The auto shut off for me is a game changer for sure!
The ARB twin is Chinese I believe. You can find the exact same compressor without their name on it. I’ve seen green ones and I have the blue one same as ARB color. It’s the same box, wiring harness, mounting brackets, filters and so on. Everything’s the same for hundreds less.
Everything is Chinese lol
When I tell you my jaw is on the floor…..wow!!!
Its not that you can’t, but it’s just not designed for that. The output is higher than one tire can accept.
@@OzarkOverlandAdventures thanks for clarifying...
Thankyou very nice chance 😃✌️
Great video Matt. How much for the old one $$?
Better performance and cheaper, hell yes. Even if it only lasts a few years, buying another is still cheaper than ARB the first time.
Just ordered one of these for my JL. Curious if you have any thoughts where might be a good spot to mount it in the back of a JL? I might look into doing that down the road if I can figure out a good spot/way.
FYI: ARB has to be connected DIRECTLY TO STARTING BATTERY with the ENGINE RUNNING to get full power. 👍
Of course it does. And it is.
I wouldve used an Anderson connection and made a pig tail for the battery clamps just in case but my truck doesnt go offroad nearly as much as yours
So I assume your aux battery can handle the compressor without turning on engine? Im thinking about mounting it the same as you did.
Is inflation time less than 5 minutes per tire if you are filling one tire at a time?
Ive been trying to decide on which setup to go with for awhile…hopefully I can see it at Rendezvous!?
Next time if you can, I'd like to see how it does when all 4 tires start out a different PSI to see if when finished they are all the same.
Also TFL Offroad RUclips channel gave a 10% off code for Thor which is exactly the same thing just badged differently. The least Morflate could have done is given you a code.
Actually they just sent me a discount code - Ozark will save 10%
OZARK ... is not a valid coupon code... I've tried from 3 different links? Any suggestions?
@@ft4dt interesting. I did not know that. Thank you. The overheating makes sense.
I was thinking the same thing. My PT pushes high psi and the tire accepts it just fine.
@@thomascortez9246 it may be more of a heat issue on the compressor side as someone above mentioned.
If you use a valve removal tool like the one from Milton or Airtec, you can use on a single tire no problem. The issue with single tire is leaving the Schrader valve in as it can only flow 2.5 cfm, so puts too much back pressure on the 10.6
Power tank and Monster valves FTW.
37X13.50R17 x 4 tires, 30 PSI to 8 PSI and back to 30 PSI in less time than your Morrflate.
CO2 tanks win when all that is considered is inflate time, that is for sure. I ran CO2 for a little while, but I always forgot to fill it up between uses. Some of these new twin cylinder compressors with high flow connectors and hoses are getting real close to CO2 speeds. And they never run out.
Duh. Of course CO2 is faster. It also takes up more space, weighs more, and runs out and has to be refilled. No thanks.
Did you calculate in the time for you to drive to refill it to 😂
Love this!!
Great video!
Thanks!
Do I have to connect this compressor to a battery or can I connect this to a blue sea fuse panel?
Been eyeing that on, thanks! Could they run mounted on an angle? Like on the roll at on a JKU?
I cant get the discount code to work
Hey Matt, when you hard wire the Morreflate to your Jeep I noticed the display on the compressor is always on. It seems that could create a parasitic draw. Do you know of a way to shut the screen off?
It's connected to my aux batteries so I'm not worried about it. I wouldn't hard wire it to the starter battery.
I never said you had to drill to run wires.
Should have hooked the arb and moorflate up to the gladiator tires, not the jeeps 38’s. Would have been a better comparison.
But still good stuff!
Matt, what was your original TenSix portable producing prior to switching to TenSix pro?
I never actually timed it so I can't say for certain.
Matt!!! Where can I get that shirt??? It's awesome.
Is this the same thing as a Thors Lightning?
This may have been answered here but I can't find it anywhere online. Does the morrflate have the same mounting hole pattern as the arb twin? I want a moreflate and want to mount it but everyone seems to only carry arb mounting options. Help please!
No the mounting pattern is different.
good to know! thank you!@@OzarkOverlandAdventures
Can you mount this on its side like arb twin?
I don’t see why pressure at the compressor ought to be different from the pressure at the tires. From the output at the compressor to all four tires, it’s all one big chamber: they should all get to the same pressure (unless one tire started higher than the finishing pressure, in which case it would probably still be higher).
Do you have to run the car to use the compressor or you can run with just the battery?
Best to have the vehicle running.
@@OzarkOverlandAdventures thank you , you connect to the starter or house battery
I’ve seen the Moorflate under other colors/brands for 169 and 239. Maybe the old versions maybe?
I’ve been looking at Viair stuff mostly to replace the cheap one I bought in 2012. That one pops it’s fuse all the time now.
They are different models.
I have a Viair 420P for my Outback Wilderness, but would love to put the single ARB under my hood. The price is a kick in the head though.
Was the Jeep engine running when the compressors were on?
Yes
Were these tests done while engines running?
Of course they were. You don’t run compressors with the engine off.
Get a small air tank inline. I have a play list with a few vids of onboard air, how to connect em etc
@@johnroberto5248 lol look like marketing strategy to get you to buy their 4way hose system I’ve notice when using the 4 way hose system it get hotter than using the one hose

That same compressor is sold under a few different names for about 100. Given, they will have less features like the psi settings, or pressure switch.
I’m using the NAPA maxi trac version. Works great.
Are you selling your old one
how heavy though??
ARB pushes 5.4 CFM not 6.1 CFM and rightly said it is stupid expensive. For your information I have same air compressor from the same factory for less than $200
Arb is waterproof and dust proof...you can also run you air lockers...also yoi can mount the arb under the car and forget about it where as the other one needs to be carried around or mounted in where you can see it...speed is nice but not everything.
