I'm surprised you didn't try camping out at the Sunset Beach Bar for the views😂 I'm not a plane enthusiast at all, just love watching you two enjoy yourselves.
Skiathos' airport beach in Greece sees Maho Beach and says "Finally, a worthy opponent! Our battle will be legendary". Another neat fact about St. Maarten is that it has the world's shortest commercial international flight which is between there and the British island of Anguilla (in fact you can see a flight coming from Anguilla at 1:45). The flight takes just 10 minutes (your St Maarten-St Barth's flight takes 15 minutes). Unlike the neighboring St. Martin, Anguilla is pretty laid back and this is because of it being sparsely populated and that it didn't make the decision to develop tourism until the 1980s. They actually used to be its own republic for a short time in the 1960s, and this is why it has three dolphins on its flag (as that was on the flag of the republic). Basically, the UK combined them with St. Kitts, they were unhappy as they preferred to be their own colony, they kicked out the St. Kitts police, held a referendum to leave St. Kitts that neither the UK nor St. Kitts recognized, held another referendum in favor of being a republic, then the UK sent a contingent of 331 2nd Battalion, The Parachute Regiment, plus 30 London Metropolitan Police officers. While St Kitts got their independence, Anguilla has remained British.
Omg, what a small world, finding your channel through Dennis Bunnik’s, feeling associated with travel being a flight attendant myself, having my love living in Australia , where I will end up in the near future ,I come across you guys going to my islands and filmed it🎉❤. I am a born Saba girl, lived between there and St Maarten until my teenage years,I cried seeing you film my beautiful islands. Especially Saba. I even saw some familiar faces also. Like your taxi driver . I mean come on we all know each other there 😂. Thank you for this video 🙏
How cool that you were about to pay cash and get 2 seats on a charter! Saint Maarten is definitely on my bucket list. I've always washed to visit the beach at the end of the runway! Thx for the great video as always!
Ah yes, an American flying from a part of the Netherlands to a French island, at an airport named after a Swedish king...Mr. Worldwide. Being able to sit right next to the pilot to get a front-row seat of the action of this one-of-a-kind flight experience is the equivalence of winning Powerball. JEALOUS! St. Barth's history is quite interesting! The island was Swedish from 1784 to 1878! France gave Sweden the island in exchange for French trading rights in Gothenburg. With that, the Swedish West India Company was established, but the colony wasn't quite successful. The islanders faced a feverish epidemic that led to the deaths of 300 people in 1840, as well as a severe drought in 1850. Sweden no longer saw the colony as viable and attempted to give it to the US in the late 1860s. They even tried giving it to ITALY, but Sweden stopped talks with Italy after realizing Italy wanted to use it as a penal colony. So when Oscar II became King in 1872, he approached France about returning the island, which they agreed to in August 1877, and the French officially reoccupied it in March 1878.
First time I went to St Maarten was in 2003. Back then the Maho beach bar was a shack doing $2 Carib’s and you had 747’s screaming in over the beach. It was heaven. Then the cruise ships turned up… and well The rest is history.
Well that was some good "check your shorts" kind of flying....LOL One of these days, I'll make it over that way. To answer Suzanne's questions at the end, Yes, You are GOOD!
I went to Saba recently as well. That other BN Islander (PJ-WEB, another Windward Express aircraft) you can see at 10:30 unfortunately suffered some damage to its port side main gear after a presumably hard landing. It apparently encountered wind shear and is now temporarily stranded. Good job to your Winair air pilots for landing in that tailwind!
If you loved Saba you need to visit nearby Nevis! Most people land at St Kitts and enjoy one of the most beautiful transfers to Nevis via speedboat! Try it!
Those are my little twin brothers name, Ryan and Bryan. .. ❤️ Also, awesome video! We visited Maho Beach via cruise ship back in 2017 and watching those planes land and take off was so beautiful!
in 2015 I visited St.Marteen and saw a Boeing 747 land at st.Maarten. The flight no longer runs because because of how close to the end of the runway stopped. The flight was on klm and went from Amsterdam to st .Marteen.
I think that islanders and Trilanders still do the Orkney Island routes among them the shortest flight in the world if the wind is correct. Worth a review. Many years ago Inverness to Wick was a Trilander
Every Saturday, I look for this guy’s new video, and every week, he somehow makes it better than the last. Good job Jeb!
agree 100 percent
He is not just “this guy” he is Jeb Brooks
But yes I do agree
I'm surprised you didn't try camping out at the Sunset Beach Bar for the views😂 I'm not a plane enthusiast at all, just love watching you two enjoy yourselves.
I definitely would have!
Awesome video! I really appreciate the lengths (1312 feet) you go to get the best aviation footage.

Such wise words from Mr Supreme Kim that I felt it coming inside me ❤

Feels good to be this early!!!!
Glad you got to visit Saba (I live here), but I’m from Sint Maarten. You both look familiar I might’ve seen you walking in the windward side.
Great video, Jeb! Your videos are first class regardless of which class you fly in!
Per usual, awesome video footage. I am sold! Saba here I come.

I loved this video so much, Jeb!
I had to scrunch up my toes to help with that landing. Excellent work!!

I think Saint Martin is where Captain Ron parallel parked Martin's Yacht in the movie Captain Ron if memory serves me right, great video.
My best friend went to med school on St. Martin. He loved Saba over the other islands because of the people and diving.
The most colourful and complete video of St-Martin aviation hot-spots I have seen!
Awesome video as always 😊
I think I missed this one unbelievable 😮
A few years back I flew in a Trilander from Bournemouth to Alderney and back....so amazing
BEAUTIFUL VIDEO !
Your videos are never disappointing. I hope you consider flying on Breeze Airways soon, because I’m anxious to hear your opinion about them.
If you loved Saba you need to visit nearby Nevis! Most people land at St Kitts and enjoy one of the most beautiful transfers to Nevis via speedboat! Try it!

I always wonder how many people on flights like these know how unique they are, and how many just need to get somewhere for work.
Done that flight. So much fun
I love Jeb's silly hat!
I just got back from both SXM and SBH last week. Celebrating my 55th Birthday. What an incredible trip. 😎🌴✈️
Out of ALL the videos you’ve done, this is the one I’m most jealous of.
Nice video!! Keep up the good work

From the lower part of the kingdom of the Netherlands thanks for the episode, Saba looked amazing, all the islands did. 😊
St Maarten is gorgeous; glad you had fun there!
I believe Jeb was a little extra perky in this video. Beautiful aerial shots.

Over in Europe we have our own St Maarten airport located on the greek island of Skiathos.
Great Video Jeb, Nice to see those take offs and landings.
I like the hat. White reflects, good choice.
Ok now you guys need to do a trip to the Himalayas and fly into Paro, Bhutan and Lukla, Nepal.
Perhaps also a ski trip to courchevel?
St Baarths is where i recall a small plane over ran the end of the runway and ended up in the sea quite some time ago.
That pizza looked amazing.......wish I could have grabbed a slice through the computer screen....
It was super delicious pizza. Thanks for watching!
❤ St. Barth’s 😉👍🏻
Wake up babe, new Jeb video just dropped
Fantastic video! Wonder why 2 GoPros were running in the Twin Otter. Is one of the pilots a youtuber too?
Locals pronounce SABA as (SAYBER) :).... awesome video....greetings from a aviation Spotter in St. Kitts and Nevis just a few miles away.
WOW!!!!
I have been to many islands in the Caribbean, union islands runway was the most memorable. It ended in the ocean.

Amazing Video Jeb, one of the most amazing experiences in my life was to witness the Landing and departure of KLM 747 on Maho Beach in 2017.
Love this one Jeb. Did you guys stay at Juliana's hotel? My friend from high school owns it!
