I am so glad you are showing this. I've started a Halloween block set and my idea was to do a split design with a 14x14 multi-needle hoop. I have been playing with this idea for three days and just about ready to do a test stitch but now I will wait until I see how you are going to work this out. Thanks for the (Stop) instruction I never used that, now I now how, yippie!
I don't know if this causes any problem but I take the vector file and cut/ paste all designs into a new open folder; this way I go to create begin new design and copy/paste from the other open file where the vector drawing is and I don't need to delete all the other ones that come over from the vector tab and delete the ones I don't need. Just a short cut.
I am strongly considering purchase of Stitch Artist 2. I want to make custom patches as well as digitize a regular applique pattern. I tried Simply Applique and it just hasn't worked for me.
If you want to make patches, then I recommend Merrowly as well. You'll get a fabulous patch edge that looks like it came off of a Merrow machine. tinyurl.com/2p8smcch
Do you have a tutorial for pe design instead of embrilliance? I want to order the quilt kit but only if I can embroider it on my Brother NQ1700E. Thanks.
I think the Brother NQ1700E will be a struggle to stitch this quilt out. That 6x10 hoop can't handle most of the blocks if they are done in this method. You'd need to be pretty good at multiple hoopings to create a single block. So that means printing out the individual sections and then placing them correctly in the hoop. I know that the skirt on Garden Girl is too big to stitch out in a 6x10 hoop. You'd have to put that down using a blanket stitch on your domestic sewing machine. I don't know how to use PE Design but I use Embrilliance to save to the Brother machine format. It works with all home embroidery machines.
Thank you for your lessons, they are great!'
Going to try your method for applique. Looks easy and clean.
Thankyou again Becky for these digitizing tutorials 🌷
I am not into the scan-N-cut method of applique but I truly admire and respect all of the work on it and all of your tutorials! Thanks Becky!
This is a needed video

I won't be putting it together for another couple of weeks so you may not want to wait on me. I'm off tomorrow to see the grands for a week!
I'll try the spit design method and see how it goes on a test piece and I will get back to you.@@PowerToolsWithThread
Below I said I past all designs into a "New open folder" what I mean is open a "new screen" next to the original I am working on.
Excellent! Thank you for showing how to do this!
I bought a scan and cut last week and cut out my first appliqués this afternoon. So easy after watching your videos Becky! Thanks!!
Great lesson. Thanks, Becky!
Thank you!

Smart! Thanks! I do use that method to create multiple hoopings for a single design. I'll use your method next time. :)
Great info!

@@PowerToolsWithThread i have Merrowly, just haven’t purchased the digitizing suite yet.
I need a monogram for backpack for grands. So, do I download alphabet to Canvas then cut glitter vinyl on SNC ? Tutorial?
You might check Allbrands After Hours RUclips channel for video tutorials on HTV. ruclips.net/user/results?search_query=allbrands+after+hours

@PowerToolsWithThread Thanks for the input and the information.
Do u have a 4:26 video on how to bring a design to Canvas then to scan and cut. Then to luminaire?
I don’t think so, but that’s a great idea. Thanks!
