Thank you Becky!! I never would have figured this out on my own! You took a complicated design and made it easy to do by following your step by step directions! Love the results! So pretty!
Thanks for showing this trick. I can see that not all of the petals on your dahlia overlap each other consecutively and so I would continue your process for the other three pieces. I watch you all the time. Wish you would do more appliqué videos using Embrilliance.
love this i have a pattern which is similar to this and i have been trying to work out how to do in by machine instead by hand, as it has a inner and outer ring
I’ve had trouble with part of my vector not having the overlap remove. It must be because I used a copy and paste piece thinking it would be faster. Thank you for mentioning this in the tutorial I still was looking for a cause and I think this is it! 😅
I have hoop envy…..is their any way to break this down for those of us that only have a 4x4 hoop…or do I just make stops and reposition my fabric in the hoop?
You don’t know how timely this video is for me! Thank you! I have been trying for days to figure out leaf placement in The Cat in Flowers mini quilt from On Wander Lane ( yes I bought them all after seeing you talk about them a few months ago 😁) as 2 tuck under earlier items like that first and last petals. My only issue now is when I reorder objects in the objects window, the hidden stitches are no longer hidden. In other words it shows and stitches the whole thing. But, this video shows me how to delete those stitches. Just wondered if you had any idea why that happens? I am using a Mac. Not sure if that makes a difference. Anyway, You have saved me so much time and frustration. Thank you again! Honestly, you don’t know how this has saved my sanity!!! You are the best!
You'll want to re-order in the Objects Panel before adding the blanket stitch. That will fix that. I'm so proud of you for taking this new technology on! Yay!
I am confused. It looks to me that petals 7 and 10 do not match your sample. They seem different from the other petals. They look hidden behind instead of overlapping on one side.
amazing. This was really helpful. Thanks Becky!
Becky I ❤your brain!!!

Hi thanks for this video. I would never have purchased any of this equipment without your videos.
Your tutorials are so clear and concise. Thank you.
Thank you so much Becky, you made this so easy. It turned out perfect . I’m very happy with it. What the next one you will be posting.

Could we create an appliqué Dresden Plate design using this technique?
Can you do with with Stitch Artist 1?

I didn't take the time in the video to tweak everything to make it perfect. That's probably what you see. It can take some time to get them right.
Are 3, 6, and 9 right?
Nope! I address that at 14:50.
