Oh this brings back memories. I remember swapping the master cylinder on my 1990 CRX Si with a Civic EX cylinder and it made a nice difference. Later on I bought a 92 Civic CX hatchback and swapped over JDM Civic SiR brakes (discs on all 4 wheels) and had to swap over the rear trailing arms, the 40/40 prop valve, and the e-brake cables, too. I learned a ton on Honda's.

That came out nice. You should notice an absence of body roll. I have one in my Buick (OEM) because of plastic fenders. It's meant to stiffen the body, not really affect the "suspension".

I think it might have helped to lower both rear struts out of their holes to just before they fall out of their holes, sit the bar in, then bring the struts back up. Sometimes that's what you have to do with front strut braces. I had to do that on mine for my satty.
Yes I've had to do that before on some of my other cars. I was just trying to avoid that this time 😂. The strut tower bar came out looking good! Im happy with it .thanks for watching

I found your channel while looking for brake caliper rebuilding instructions so I can have an idea of how to do it on my gf's B16 swapped EJ6, and I went down a rabbit hole watching a bunch of your videos. Fun to watch and clearly improving at video editing, you inspire me to hopefully go out and make a video of my own someday. These videos are pretty damn good, just fix the issue with low frame rate (it seems a lot of your footage is sub 24 fps, for whatever reason) and you're up there with chrisfix as far as video editing goes. Edit: Also, do you do this professionally? You've got a shit ton of nice toys for an average hobbyist.

As you saw in this video I picked up a proper sony camera but the issue i was having here is the light bulbs inside my house dont agree with the camera. So I was getting the horizontal lines on the screen, to compensate for that I had to lower the shutter speed of the camera but then that causes the blury effect or "slow motion" . my new camera is now recording at 4K 30fps . im aware of the quality of my videos thats why just spent about $3,500 worth of equipment. Hopefully my video quality gets better👍I appreciate the compliment. I have so many tools because I fix cars for a living , so buying all these toys to fix cars translates into tools I can use on the crx and engine build 👍💪
@@duhjooner I just checked it, yes it a LED board . unfortunately it was just installed not long ago and its hardwired in . so its not a case of simply just changing a bulb. I have to get it changed anyway because its really effecting my videos since i plan on recording more in that room
@@themechanic6117 You could buy some photography lights and diffusers, if you're super serious about continuing to film. That way you can film essentially anywhere, and not worry about lighting.

Thanks for watching. The boot came off ebay, it was a new part that got shipped from Japan. Yes the password stuff is out of business. I bought the brace about a month before they're officially stopped selling their parts

The ktuned stuff is just stuff I've been buying little by little over the years .im just good at saving my money. I grew up poor and always will be.

The crx needs all the chassis stiffening it can get. It creaks and cracks going over bumps

@@themechanic6117 Are they LED lights? Switching to old fashioned incandescent bulbs should fix the problem.

No Loctite on the flywheel bolts? I highly recommend that you use Loctite.
Its only on so i cant occasionally crank the engine. Once its ready to go in the car ill install the rear main seal and loctite the bolts 👍

Bro, Why did you have to remove the old proportioning valve?I’m doing the same conversion on my 88. Wasn’t they the same?
From what I read online , the rear drum brake and rear disk brake cars use a different proportion valve
How much that transmission cost you?

How did you find out the skunk 2 rear camber arms were fake? I just bought the same ones and want to me sure I didn’t get screwed
The quality looked off. It didnt fit right and i dont believe the real skunk2 say EF/EG/EK on them
