Thank you Alan. The problem is I use 4 pairs of glasses haha, no mucking about with me. Pair for driving, TV, computer work and reading, but its often easier to wear none as I can sort of see thing but not close up or long distance without glasses so to see my socket sizes would need my reading glasses but then to do the job might be my computer glasses which never leave my computer as I fear damaging them and then that's my editing over. I like complicated lol

I’m somewhat saddened to hear those comment- I always figured because you use decent tools, some of them were ..free! I really enjoy your videos and on the R50 FB forum, I often link a reply to your YT channel, because you describe so well and demonstrate when talking Mini jobs…of which as you know, there are many. Well done Mark, I hope you are tripping over trolley jacks and axle stands (figuratively-speaking) as they pour through your door- you’re a star!
No none of my tools are free Patrick, this is the first free item since starting RUclips 5 years ago. It's hard work really as you have a huge outlay in camera gear and tooling to make the videos but the income is the same as when I was a part time glass collector aged 15. I normally keep the tools moving in and out so once a job is done I sell the tools or if a tool is very expensive I may just sell it as I cannot afford to keep expensive tools sitting around. I had a big sell off last year on my tooling so I could upgrade my cameras. I had to get some part time HGV work to keep the channel going. I had hoped the money would have gone up a bit by now but its stayed static and incredibly low in comparison to the cost of living increases. This is why I cut corners with car parts and rarely by them. In my next video your see me take a scrap helium balloon cylinder, cut it open and flatten it to give me the metal to mend the sill in this Ford Focus lol
@@CoatsandGaiters I still have part of a floor out of a lift in my garage as I too needed steel to weld into my Imp or Stiletto. Steel is steel. It was twice the thickness of any panel I patched…
@@patrickjmorgan if I bought a sheet it’s bound to be more expensive than you first thought, then there’s the getting it home as they are normally 8x4. If you don’t use it then starts to rust. The old helium bottle is just about the right gauge for a sill. Thick and sturdy. I don’t mind buying tools as I can normally sell them on again without loosing money but car parts is totally lost money.

They are on the UK one I think. That's where my set was sent from. They are an American company probably.
@@CoatsandGaiters they are, but they claim also to produce in germany (among other countries) so it wound be practical to offer on amazon de… as shipments from uk are a major pain… due to not so recent events ;)

@@withgrowinginsanity198 Camembert is nicer though !!! I gave up with cheese and crackers now after all the cracker manufactures changed their recipes recently. Even plain old Jacobs is now utterly tasteless, krakawheat they removed the salt and did something weird to them. I literally have given up with cheese and crackers now and just accept those days are over.
