We have lift off!!! It feels so good to unlock this new level of paramotor flying. I definitely have a lot of practice in front of me to really get it dialed in. Once that happens, we will unlock the next level. TANDEMS. Stay tuned!

@@TuckerGott can you do back flips in the trike like you do normally?
Takes me back to when I started 15 years ago. If you want launch/landing suggestions; Launching with the wing layed out like you did has the problem of the prop blowing the tail of the wing over the nose interfering with inflation which can result in the wing not coming up straight. After laying out like you did with no slack in the A's, stand behind the center of the wing, reach down and pull the rest of the material (center and tail) and tuck it under the nose through the center 1/3 of the wing. Now nothing will block the nose during inflation and the wing will come up faster and straighter. Powered landing tends to work better and in light to no wind after landing and slowing some I keep my eye on the wing, keep a bit of power on and lower the brakes until the wing starts falling backwards. As soon as the wing sags backward kill the motor and the wing will lay down softly and very neatly behind with the lines staying fairly straight and out of the prop. Think of it as using forward motion from the motor to "blow" the wing back behind you. Flying a trike you will learn to control the wing with the motor more than you do when foot launching. To help with torque I raised the right carabiner slightly by switching to longer hang strap. Hope you find something here helpful!

Well done, dude! Being a trike flyer myself I know the hard bits. I reckon the biggest difference in starting is that you won't be able to take a step sideways to get centered. So the trickiest part is preventing oscillation and how to deal with it when it happens. For me a cross wind take off is a no go, to start with..... And I was taught to always land with the engine off, but I don't know what my co-trikeflyers will have to say about that. Good luck!
Hi Millbrook. haha yep, there are hard bits, I was thinking Tucker would feel way less nervous with the wing above him,lol I do cross wind launches quite a bit, they can be difficult, I rarely land engine off, gives me options but almost always I could land engine off. It's fun to watch Tucker on the trike hey, cheers
@@jerrydelyea5820 I totally agree with you. Great to see Tucker join "the elusive wheeled species", like James Campbell once called us... By now I could land my trike in just about any direction, but I like to keep my starts as straight into the wind as possible. Knock on wood, been flying about 6 years now with no damages..... What I love most is taking off, getting some altitude and finally shut the engine off just to glide down again... Could do that all day! Cheers mate, stay safe & fly happy!
@@RenanPeris I do have an electric starter, so if I want to do a go around I could just restart. I just love to eyeball my car and trailer from a reasonable distance and altitude and then try to land as precise as possible without the engine...
Its been years but If I remember correctly you want the slight recline. My Dad was a attorney and loved his trike. It was even in his commercial for his law office with the slogan we fly the extra mile for you. Watching you fly makes me feel like my Dad is with me watching you Tucker. Thank you for all that you do.
Nice going Tucker!!! I've been flying a quad for a few years now and 2 tips for ya....it looks like your hang points could come back a little as your nose looks to be a little high and 2 since you know that there are NO hazards in front of you on the field, you need to look up as you are bring the wing up much better view and control.... You need that wing to be centered and under control. When you have that then full power. Hope this helps....
As a Cessna pilot, it amazes me how much maneuverability paramotors have, especially right after take-off. I just discovered this sport yesterday, but this is so cool! Seems unintuitively safe as well
Well as I lay here with a compression fracture to my spine I am happy for you to be learning a new skill. I am done with flying my paramotor. I just wish it was on video so I can see what I did wrong. I've love flying over the last year but it hurts at my age to recover. You are the reason I tried flying and I am glad I did it. Enjoy

We've had smoke on and off for about three weeks in Madison, WI. Cleared out last weekend and it's back for this week. Clears out on Sunday or Monday when a second cold front moves through on Sunday.
@@TuckerGott we had some wild sunset and sunrises here in northwest Ohio last week. There were days where solar radiance was diminished by *just smoke* by as much as 40%
out west we’ve been told to stay inside and make sure only clean air gets in because it’s unhealthy for everyone. It is visible every evening as the sun lights the near surface air. And with winter still predicted to be a drought in western states smoke won’t stop coming for a while. We literally have to wear 2 masks (1 covid and 1 smoke protection).
The wheel turning thing you were talking about is called "counter-steering" which is what motorcyclists and bicyclists do when they're at speed. Essentially, when going faster than about 10 mph on a motorcycle, you push the handle for the direction you want to turn (push the right handle forward slightly and the bike will wobble to initiate the turn to the right). Hope this helps explain it!
Awesome! I like the front wheel about 8-10" high when hanging on the ground. Looks like your hang point could come back a bit. Time for trike merch... Oops, did I say that already? Looking forward to more trike action!
Hey Tucker just got done watching your first trike flight and a little thing that we do is we have a 5" Mirror mounted on the trike in front of us so we can watch our wing come up. If your wing is centered in your mirror it's....go go go.
Ehh hmm. Mike Patey... he just doesn't have time to reply to everything when he's building his next monster experimental aircraft. Usually answers comments in the next video.
That is just awesome. I have figured out you're up for new tasks. For your next adventure, I want see a video of a flying boat or seadoo. You could put a new meaning in the term fly fishing. But all kidding aside, a ten or twelve foot boat with that system would give you unlimited places to take off and land. Waves days wouldn't be a good idea though. A frame with retracting wheels on the boat would let you take off or land anywhere.
Great to see you develop a new experience and “type” of aircraft! The main transition is the extra drag and mass that you are controlling. Just wondering if your hang point is a little forward, as the touchdown of the back wheels and the delay before you start getting steering control could catch you out on bumpy pitted terrain. Have fun, I’m jealous!
Nice job Tucker. I've been a foot launch for 3 years and recently learned to trike on the same setup with Kyle and Travis in Nov 2019 and got the tandem exemption (don't know if you and Jacklyn remember meeting me while you were in Lake Wales). As for your hang point and your weight...my recommendation is to to a hang test or fly with barely any fuel to see where your recline angle is. The amount of fuel in the tank is definitely a factor (and you'll find when you have a passenger this applies as well) so when you fly for a while and use up fuel your center of gravity will change. This is not as big of a deal with foot launch but as you pointed out you definitely don't want to land nose down..ever. Fly safe! Welcome to the Trike (old man) club! LOL
Good point! That makes sense because the fuel tank is farther away from the pilot. I've moved the hang point back twice now and it's much more comfortable. I think it's still a little nose high but much better than it was in this video.
Hi, Tucker. Way to go! It’s a whole new ballgame. You did great. Jackie did great too. Her growth in confidence is wonderful to see. Congratulations to both of you. Take care!
“ a nice farmer found it on the ground. Absolutely pulverized “ “Why was it pulverized and why was it not you that found it?” “I was flying a go kart.. and... “Say no more.”
Great video! Nice to see you NOT trying to act more experienced than you are with this and that is another honesty and safety first thing I like about this channel ...
@ 2:17 - ever think about rolling up backwards (or forward) on the sides of the bed? Might be a bit strange looking, but then you could have lots of other stuff in the bed. Then you could tie it down with the wheels??? Probably not the best way, but just a though. OR, could you set it up with a ball and hitch, and treat it like a trailer, from the nose wheel?
If your wing has double loops on the rise connects, you can connect the upper one on left side. Also off setting riser connect points can help the torque. Welcome to triking old man.
Tucker Gott you may want to check with Aviators, but yes one slightly ahead. Some trikes can get away with that. Also, you may be able to cant you engine a bit. Trikes do tend to make your left arm sore hanging on the left brake. : ) Weight shift left helps. Your hang point looks a bit off, you want to bring your nose down a bit. The Universal 1.1 has a separate trim that you adjust a small knot to clip in. I wish I knew the name of the adjustment trim.
Out terrorizing Frenchtown this evening? Saw two PPGs loitering over the river. One may have been a trike, thought I could kinda sorta make out a wheel. The other definitely not a trike, red and yellow wing I believe. Beautiful weather for a flight. Heard the motor and was expecting an ultralight or homebuilt to come flying by.
I'm late to this, but you were dead on with the motorcycle analogy. Generally any vehicle that leans is affected by what is known in the motorcycle world as counter-steering. under about 20mph you should be safe to turn as usual. This generally doesn't happen with trikes, as they aren't designed to lean, for the most part. Your suspension may be a bit too soft.
I remember having a G-con sky surfer when i was a kid, and watching you with this trike reminded me of having that and how much fun it was.... Stay safe and happy flying

It was so funny seeing you taxiing around without the wing on, like a little go-cart or one of those airboats they ride around the swamps in! I was also surprised to find out these things can actually hold two people.
Tip and trick from Pascal Valée (if you don't know him go check him out) To avoid the jolt on the trailing edge of the wing on initial rise, Once your layout is properly made, pull the trike slowly 2-3 feet forward until all the lines get under tension. The trailing edge will crumple up underneath the rest of the wing and you will avoid the trailing edge flying and flapping up before settling in the right position. This also helps the wing keeping a better centralized position on initial lift. Great job on this first flight. It's nice to witness all the care and attention you give to details, like a true pilot should. Cheers
I took some kiting lessons 6 yrs ago with the intent of learning to fly paramotors because 2-axis flying looked like so much fun. But wow, at least in the learning phase, it was a lot......I mean a lot of taxing physical effort and I'm in great shape w/o etc (I'm a little guy and approaching 65 y/o.) Then I strapped on the 70 lbs of kit. Whoa! With my bad arthritic knee's, there was just no way I could do this sport. I had considered pressing on and making things happen via the "trike" but........ your vid reminded me of the myriad of variables what with carabiners, lines, and on and on and on not to mention the upfront costs - that of a small 3 axis ultralight. I've been a licensed pilot for quite some and I'm sticking to it and my experimental category aircraft. I love to watch the paramotor guys, but each time I do, it reminds me of why I prefer 3 axis flight - simpler, faster, more comfortable, and not so physically taxing. Blue skies:)
Tucker, YOU DO AWESOME VIDEOS, mike from Pittsburgh, as always your stuff is fabulous. I'm 67 former private pilot and want to fly trikes. Bring it on amen
Trikes are definitely easier to take off in low to zero wind. But in higher wind conditions, inflating a single on a trike is tricky. It’s very hard to reverse launch a wing on a trike. But yes landing is always easier with a trike.
Fly products is a sweet machine! I just finished tandem training with one up Adventures on this setup. The moster 185 is okay for me solo but I needed the polini 250 for Tandem flights. welcome to the Brotherhood of wheel launch!!!
That was badass! Loving the trike, can’t wait to see more as it has a lot of potential for long flights especially with a passenger. Take care and safe flying!
I'd love to see a crossover video with the Slo Mo Guys. Take them up for tandems and then do a lot of ultra slo mo paramotor video. Slo mo foot dragging, flying through a smoke grenade, engine vibration, throwing fruit into the prop, etc.
I'm one of those "old heavy guys" whose only possible access to this sport is a trike or quad. This is inspiring, just seeing that it might be possible for me to do this thing! What the heck - I'm not going to live forever anyway, lol. Also, three words to consider: Front Wheel Rudder.

Watching this gives me the same sort of buzz I used to get from watching skydive vids before I got my skydive licence. I have a feeling that I know what my next hobby is going to be, when I've got a bit of spare disposable income! :D
Bro, You gotta mount a delta trike wing on this carriage! I'm not a ppg hater by any means but a rigid wing has so many advantages. No worries about a frontal collapse of your wing. Set up is lengthier but being able to make your aircraft do what you want is awesome!
To get smoother inflation and faster/stabel launch of your wing going through propwash: when you have conected your glider to yourbtrike, go back pulling your A s so they get tension(All of Them). Thst way it infltate smoother ang goescquicker through your propwash. You need to adjust your hangpoint as you point out, your front weel should be more like 15-20cm above the rearweels. Gives better comfort and better thrust. Nice go man 🤘
@@TuckerGott I can see you when you're 80, segued into a full-time trike pilot going to McDonalds for the 80th time with your handicapped parking sticker hanging from your roll bar.
Get yourself a 6x12 enclosed trailer with a ramp. It’ll be a nice dry secure place to store everything trike related and you can just roll it in and out totally put together. 6x12’s have single axles with no brakes so they’re inexpensive to buy and maintain and its a good size for moving around motorcycles and quads and lots of other stuff if you need it.
In the long term, the trike is only going to be used occasionally when I have tandem passengers so I don't think it's worth the expense of an enclosed or even a flat bed trailer when I can just lift it into truck. I've found that it's easy to load with everything still attached as long as I have a second person to help.
Tucker Gott are there exemptions for tandem flights now? I have a couple of trikes and I’d love to take family and friends up. Can you do it as part of “flight training?” I’ve got a PPL and was thinking of going to ppc just to make it legal.
Soft flotation tires on some trikes provide a little more comfort and shock absorbing cushioning especially the larger flotation tires. They can also give a little sideways sliding type movement which is useful in certain situations. They are also helpful at the beach and handle the pavement just fine.
What a reckless suggestion! How dare you suggest that someone give birth up there. That is crazy dangerous for both mother and child. What about the delivery personnel? Where will they be? How dare you suggest that someone give birth from a paramotor. You just lost a sub!
we had a 4 wheel, cart, built it ourselves. It won awards. Motor assembly was about 80 lbs. It was setup for Two people , passenger in front and below pilot. The wheels were from a solid piece of aluminum, milled down with a deep dish center. The tires were wide and not so tall, but a smooth slick surface. It was this way so as not to bury wheels into sand or soft grass. Imagine just one front wheel with two people , try to make any sudden turns in a soft field, your gonna flip it. So we had alot of stability. The cart was more like a gocart, long stable rails, not so narrow in width. It was designed to have front wheel up like in this video. You come down on the soft rear wheels first always. We tried many wings, the best was a huge ,more surface area style wing for more lift and stability. It was hard not to touch down a wing tip all the time for how wide it was. We took out a few blue runway lights in our day. After brother and I landed in a tall grass field with a tall fence to clear, having enough speed ,power and lift to clear said fence during take off would be the challenge. Having those dune buggy wide, slick soft wheels kept us from burying the wheels into the soft super tall grasses, we cleared the fence so close in front of us. All this happened in the Santa Barbara CA area This was right across the field to the Santa Ynez CA airport All this to keep from hitting your spine or breaking your legs, relying on those wheels to land softly. The little trikes looked too sketchy
Hi Tucker! Relatively new to your channel so my bad if you've bought this up before, but could offer up a brief take on trike vs. foot-launch tandem? I would guess the top two disadvantages to foot-launch are: 1) You probably need a healthy headwind in most cases or else take off is either impossible or exhausting. Maybe also a bigger wing? 2) As a PIC, a huge random factor is added because if your passenger does something unpredictable during takeoffs or landings, things could get pretty bad in a hurry. Sensory overload to someone new to an intense experience likely increases the chance things will not go as expected. Bottom line is malfunctioning nose gear is still malfunctioning nose gear even if it's a lifelong trusted friend, if that's not too weird a way of putting it. 😃 I think seeing a trike on this channel along with all of guest experience possibilities is fantastic. For a lot of us who would love to share the flight experience but will probably never get a separate trike setup, could you take some time to share any footlong tandem experience that maybe didn't end up on the channel? Maybe the fact that a FL tandem only showed up twice (I think) is enough of a weak endorsement of FL to read between the lines. Besides not likely needing a 2nd more powerful motor setup, can you maybe share any advantages you might expect to see with foot launch over a trike? I realize you haven't experienced using the trike with a passenger so there may not be that much to say right now, but I hope you could shoehorn in some foot launch comparisons in upcoming trike/tandem videos. And fwiw, I enjoyed the crunchy guitar sound background in this video. Fly on!
Answering (most of) my own questions, in case there is somebody else going down the same foot launch Rabbit Hole I'm in: www.footflyer.com/getting-tandem-certified-on-foot-and-wheel/
Tucker if you are skimming these replies, here are two important tips for you: 1) the FAA says you can't fly tandem without instruction being part of what's going on. Might be best to refer to your upcoming tandem get-togethers as "and this week I'm starting lessons with..." and maybe include a flying tip or two. If you don't do either it's not like squadrons of angry black helicopters are going to show up, but you seem pretty respectful of rules in general so take a gentle reminder of them for whatever they're worth. 2) I'm not going to outline exactly what the other thing is, but I think it's even more important. All I'm going to say is I think you mentioned sometime recently that you wanted to get your pilot's license up to date. Now that you've got your 2 seat tandem trike, you might want to cross off that license thing sooner rather than later. (Re-read FAR 103 or Jeff Goin's page linked above.) You probably know all this already or have figured it out by now but if by some chance these last two things made sense, then definitely re?read F103/Goin if you are going to read anything. And by all means skip my book chapter of a post way up above. And please accept my apologies for all of this noob Rabbit Hole rambling. (OK STOP READING NOW, THANK YOURSELF FOR STOPPING LATER. Re: I thought I would stop rambling now, but trust future guy me leaving this comment here, the rambling is only just beginning) Dude, the reality is I have less than 1 hour of lifetime flightime logged, and I won't even start training for PG/PPG until next year. Which means I basically shouldn't even start thinking about tandem until 2023 -- and then I look back and see myself crapping verbal diarrhea for paragraphs on end like tandem is actually in the neighborhood of being remotely important to me in 2020? Where the hell are the rolls eyes and shakes head emojis? ...Da fuck. When I go down these online rabbit holes, whatever I'm interested in just seems to consume me while everything else I was doing at the time gets stuck in Freeze Frame. Kind of like the talking dog in the movie, except after dropping everything to take a look, it's days later and I'm still staring at the squirrel. Yeah, it is pretty nuts. Time to unfreeze and give my attention back to a shitbarge of things I really don't want to do. I don't want to do these things but I want to avoid avoiding doing these things. The longer I keep up this level of inaction, the longer I remain on the ground. On what feels like deeper spiritual level I'm not ignoring the importance of the process where every now and then you really do to stop everything and allow time for a cool new dream to take root. that really does need to happen from time to time, at least for me because I think if you go too long on the same old autopilot and don't spend any time slowing down and looking around to see if your inner compass is still pointing in a direction you're happy to be traveling. then you might never end up at any destinations worth getting to. Of course if you spend too much tripping time on a new dream, you can lose all perspective and wind up spinning around lost in the clouds like JFK jr. And then suddenly you shake yourself awake and realize the RUclips comments section squirrel still has your attention and it's about time to realign with another spirit animal. Or just dump all the damn metaphors alltogether and just get back to fucking work already. Okay one more thing. (Big surprise.I know) Yes, the smart thing to do is to delete this. Pretty much all of this. I could think of thousand reasons why but there's at least the one in a thousand chance there is still someone reading so I'll mercifully keep them to myself. Maybe though deletion would go against the vibe of the channel?... Tucker shares his mistakes, and he'd arguably look better if he didn't... I know this still doesn't excuse me from dropping a completely out of place stream of consciousness novel here, but I'll try leaving this long-winded mistake untouched if only to remind me that maybe I should go join Twitter where I could be posting hundreds of stupid things right now instead of just a couple. Peace.
I didn't realize that the trike would be that different that foot launch but it apparently is. Thanks for pointing that out. Your the man, Tucker! Great job! Peace.
SWEEEET! Nice work! I figured you'd pick that up quick! I still can't recover from the sideways wing ... which happens 9.9 out of 10 times. You can do It! Just remember that it may take time and be careful not to rush it and end up skipping a precaution.
Paul Thomas I’m pretty sure you don’t need any special license to fly one of these
Takes me back to when I started 15 years ago.
Robert that is great advice. I fly trike and have never got the wing to lay down behind me. I am definitely going to give that a try.

Doesn't the engine being off prevent you from performing a go-around? And doesn't the added danger from that outweigh the benefits of shutting it off?
@@RenanPeris I do have an electric starter, so if I want to do a go around I could just restart. I just love to eyeball my car and trailer from a reasonable distance and altitude and then try to land as precise as possible without the engine...
Are there any wheel brakes on the trike or does it stop pretty quickly?
I look forward to many great tandem flights with this rig. There is just something about sharing the beauty of flight with others.
Definitely, that's what I'm most excited about.

Seems unintuitively safe as well
It is pretty neat! I was doing a traffic pattern with about a 500 ft downwind.
Trikes are a whole diffrent beast but the harness is a very safe thing
Turn back now, unless you're ready for your entire life to be changed.
Any license or permits needed, other than training to not kill yourself, how much does this cost to become a reality?
Well as I lay here with a compression fracture to my spine I am happy for you to be learning a new skill. I am done with flying my paramotor. I just wish it was on video so I can see what I did wrong. I've love flying over the last year but it hurts at my age to recover. You are the reason I tried flying and I am glad I did it. Enjoy
Hope u get well soon!

As a spectator who has never flown, I'm curious of laws as they apply trike vs normal paramotor are there any differentices?
I'll be answering this question in more detail in the next video but the short answer is no.
How do you get around Part 103 regulations that limit ultralights to only a single occupant?
Subpart A-General
§ 103.1 Applicability.
This part prescribes rules governing the operation of ultralight vehicles in the United States. For the purposes of this part, an ultralight vehicle is a vehicle that:
(a) Is used or intended to be used for manned operation in the air by a single occupant;

That smoky sky wasn't from clouds. That's wildfire smoke held aloft in jet stream winds. It's also why sunset was so different.
Exactly! I made a post about it on Instagram. We had smoky sunsets for a few days but it has cleared up now.
They're saying the smoke from the west coast fires can sometimes be seen in Europe now, wtf.
Can see Tucker evolving into posting Lear jet videos in the future ✈️✈️🚀🚀
As an older dude with store bought knees, I am excited about flying a trike! Looking forward to more trike videos.

TUCKER IS THE ONLY RUclipsR THAT READS CHAT ON A DAILY BASIS CHANGE MY MIND
Decrease the hang angle slightly which will reduce the p factor which causes the torqq6 problem
"there's so much space up here. You can give birth up here"😂😂😂
Nice job Tucker.

Dude. I figured out why Tucker got a trike. Good for you Tucker. Good for you.
If your wing has double loops on the rise connects, you can connect the upper one on left side. Also off setting riser connect points can help the torque. Welcome to triking old man.
Thanks! My wings don't have double loops, unfortunately. What do you mean by off setting the riser connections?
Tucker Gott you can off set your hang points. Just a bit.
@@Ohio-PPG-Trike-Adventures How do you mean though? One forward and one backward?

Me: ``But will it be a...... SUPREME SKILL?!?!?!?''
The look on your face says it all! Many happy days on your new trike.
Motorcycle push to steer

Well I finally figured out how Tucker lives such an amazing life. ”Jaclyn’s at work.” 😆 ✌️
Really? Jaclyn does all the cool stuff Tucker does too
Tip and trick from Pascal Valée (if you don't know him go check him out) To avoid the jolt on the trailing edge of the wing on initial rise, Once your layout is properly made, pull the trike slowly 2-3 feet forward until all the lines get under tension. Cheers
“Tucker Gott” has made the achievement: “wheels”
The extra torque have anything to do with the Scout being designed to counter the torque? This being not a Scout, you just feel it more?
Tucker, YOU DO AWESOME VIDEOS, mike from Pittsburgh, as always your stuff is fabulous. I'm 67 former private pilot and want to fly trikes. Bring it on amen
I think the trike looks more safe and easier to take off with
Not to mention landing. The one crash video he reacted to where the guy needed to make a hard landing and was saved by the trike sold me on it
Trikes are definitely easier to take off in low to zero wind. But in higher wind conditions, inflating a single on a trike is tricky. It’s very hard to reverse launch a wing on a trike.
But yes landing is always easier with a trike.

Nice, save that money for a sweet toy hauler!
Tucker Gott are there exemptions for tandem flights now? I have a couple of trikes and I’d love to take family and friends up. Can you do it as part of “flight training?”

@@TuckerGott lol. I guess i don't do a convincing impersonation of a left wing radical.
Yes. My comment was completely ridiculous yet funny.
Thanks so much for sharing this experience!
we had a 4 wheel, cart, built it ourselves.
All this happened in the Santa Barbara CA area
This was right across the field to the Santa Ynez CA airport All this to keep from hitting your spine or breaking your legs, relying on those wheels
to land softly. The little trikes looked too sketchy
Hi Tucker! Relatively new to your channel so my bad if you've bought this up before, but could offer up a brief take on trike vs. foot-launch tandem? I would guess the top two disadvantages to foot-launch are:
1) You probably need a healthy headwind in most cases or else take off is either impossible or exhausting.
I think seeing a trike on this channel along with all of guest experience possibilities is fantastic.
Tucker if you are skimming these replies, here are two important tips for you:
1) the FAA says you can't fly tandem without instruction being part of what's going on.
(Re-read FAR 103 or Jeff Goin's page linked above.)
You probably know all this already or have figured it out by now but if by some chance these last two things made sense, then definitely re?read F103/Goin if you are going to read anything. And by all means skip my book chapter of a post way up above. And please accept my apologies for all of this noob Rabbit Hole rambling.
(OK STOP READING NOW, THANK YOURSELF FOR STOPPING LATER. Re: I thought I would stop rambling now, but trust future guy me leaving this comment here, the rambling is only just beginning)
Dude, the reality is I have less than 1 hour of lifetime flightime logged, and I won't even start training for PG/PPG until next year.
(Big surprise.I know)
Yes, the smart thing to do is to delete this.
I also have a hard time juggling the A's, brake and throttle in my right hand (I see your's hooked up in the left hand position) - I usually get the A line yanked off my thumb too soon, and that's the end of that. I need a TON of practice. Haven't been at it much lately. Been doing more flying with my powered parachute buddy though - he took me up last night again. Getting used to the flying sensations now. I just need to get my taxiing dialed in, then I'll PIN IT! 😁
Smitty, I can't wait to see your videos. I'm planning to head to Lake Wales next Arpil/May to get my Fly Products Ryder and Flash Cruiser. Should be fun!
009to090 - That’s awesome, Chris! Yeah, I can’t wait to be doing it on my own. I’ll have a lot of videos when that day comes. I’ve been thinking of putting up my assembly video of the trike sometime soon. I got quite a backlog of videos, and not enough time to edit.
I should’ve planned better for some training like that, but life always seems to throw wrenches in all my plans, LOL. Transmission just blew in my truck Sunday on my way to go visit my dad. Got no third of fourth gear at 103,000 miles. I called that one a while back on my differential video. I knew it was going to be either the engine or the transmission next! I hate when I’m right…😂
Nothing like crosswinds on a trike.. Drop by and check out how to launch with a cross wind.
Can't wait brother! I m about to sell one of my sxs and get started! Been wanting to get up in that air...
So excited to see you flying a trike. The possibilities are endless! " This week's flight guest is?" Please have a camera on Jacklyn during her first flight! Always love her comments! So looking forward to future flights...
Good for you Tucker. Something New.
Your channel and videos have become my favorite! I just can not get enough of your videos and learning more about this sport! How do I become your number one fan? Keep up the great content and videos. Mad respect and ok yeah a bit of envy. I see next on my suggestions is "teaching subscriber to fly"... wow if only that could be me!!!!
