@u_s_e_rname No, but it shortens the side wall, which decreases the functionality of an offroad tire, especially when aired down, unless you're running 40" tires or bigger. A shorter side wall will greatly increase your chance of pinch flats, not to mention just over all ride offroad. On the other hand, if you're the mall crawler type, then there're great for street performance.
I've driven a few Hennessy products and have thoroughly enjoyed them but 36 grand for some Wheels a tune a intercooler and bumpers is pretty steep... would love to see the bronco vr500 vs raptor with a $1500 tune...
There is a chines car manufacturer, called Haval. If you leave behind some design copyrights, they make ok cars. They used to make one car, that looks like Prado, Haval H9. Now they make Tank 300 and 500. Tank 300 is basically something between Prado and Bronco, even in terms of style, but still great off-roader. They put 2.0t with 200+ hp, but in 2024 they will put 3.0tt with 360hp, that probably can be tuned to 400+ hp. And what's more interesting, they are pretty reliable too. Imagine Bronco with 400hp and Tank 300 with 400hp side by side with price difference like 40%
Yeah...because Broncos are made for drag racing. Hey! I've got an idea. Take it to Nürburgring and prove it's not made for a road course and will turn in a slow lap time...
I recently ordered a Bronco WildTrak with the stock 2.7 twin turbo (God knows when I'll get it lol) but curious to know if an upgrade is available through Hennessy and it's cost. She'll be my new garage baby 😁
@@karenthomson9749I've been working for Ford motor company just over 34 yrs now. This company and their (our) vehicles have been very good to me over the years- I don't need to ever look anywhere else. What works for you, works for you. What works for me, works for me....mate
@@IHeartEvanescence I don't think they're saying the Bronco or Ford vehicles are the waste of waste of money. The waste of money is having to wait an indefinite amount of time to get the Bronco from Ford only to then hand Hennessey 30,000+ dollars and your vehicle for another indeterminate amount of time to take an engine already boosted over 20 psi and crank it even further into the red zone. You're left with having spent 20k more than you would for a Raptor without getting all the OE upgrades.
@@hydrothermalworm7778 I agree. But saying "having to wait an incredible amount of time" is an understatement. I haven't purchased a vehicle since as long as I can even remember- this is supposed to be my first purchase in a very long time. The 3.0L is a better engine than the 3.5 IMO. Formed this opinion after owning 2 2nd gen raptors. Anybody see what people were doing with the Explorer ST
I wonder what would win a drag rag race between the bronco velociraptor 500 and a standard ram TRX. I know the TRX has a lot more power but it is also a lot heavier. Would make an interesting race i think
@@snozbaries7652 Relax or you might pop a nerve and I'm confident it's not even worth it. Besides, as if you'll "Baja" it around all the time if any, atleast with a sports car/hatch, you'll be enjoying it everyday all day, that is my opinion.

I'll probably never afford one pf your vehicles but I sure as hell love listening to them I could do it all day
because the thing is probably going to be sold to someone
This doesn’t sound good.
I drive by Hennessey almost every day. You have some amazing cars and trucks there. Love it!
Saying that you're increasing the off-road performance while putting on 20-inch rims is big ol' fail🤦
Why? Does that decrease clearance or something?

Yeah... That price is absolutely insane😂
That’s what I am planning
The price is probably because of th warranty because the motor won't last lol

Supercharged v8 please
@JusticeSociety26🤢🤮
Drag races are won at the starting line; would be curious the results of an even start.
Love to see it against the wrangler 392!!!
Put a 5.2 Raptor R engine on this... And i buy it!

Wouldn’t buy a Bronco for drag racing. Now how does that hp apply to off road use?
Would you guys put a supercharger in a suburban?
That's like asking in a coffee shop if they make coffee. They put superchargers on a daily basis
no they just might not if they could or would. Hope this answers your question. Have a special day

Why is it that when an independent party test your vehicles they never perform much better than the OEM version???

Does Hennesey sale a power kit for purchase for those who already own a Bronco Raptor?
well, that's not as significant of a difference as I expected.

How much boost psi does the stock vs Hennessy make at peak?

because it's a customers truck not theirs

Why 20 inch wheels when it's an off road vehicle...
Why not? 37's leave a lot of rubber, not really any point in staying 17 or whatever.
That V6 sound = weak sauce

Yeah but it makes no sense putting a v8 in there

Only a three year warranty that means it won’t last long!
Same as the warranty from Ford! What would you expect on a high preference vehicle

The 5 car lengths not worth 100k lol
V8 swap maybe? 😊
