    Thank you sir! Your videos have been indispensable in helping me put together my kitchen cabinetry from IKEA. There are other instructional videos by good installers but yours is by and far the most complete, precise and concise. I was able to donate even though it didn't show up as others have, and was extremely happy to do so. Keep up the good work and thank you once again for sharing your skill(s)!

    OMG thank you. I was having a terrible time following IKEAs instructions. I have one set of drawers where they fit perfectly but only when the label was upside down. I ordered a second set with different sizes and just couldn't figure them out. Your website helped me in less than 10 seconds.

    • @kitchensbyrannes
      @kitchensbyrannes  5 месяцев назад

      Awesome to hear that the video saved you some time! Those IKEA instructions can be so confusing sometimes, right?
      And when the label is put at the top and not the bottom of the drawer front, it takes some trying before one figures it out.

    I don't remember the model of IKEA's previous kitchen before Sektion, however, I had purchased a full set of cabinets that would normally be used in a kitchen and used them for an office. Everything went together so nice, that over several years I disassembled them and reassembled to move to 3 subsequent offices. I never had trouble with any drawers.

    • @kitchensbyrannes
      @kitchensbyrannes  5 месяцев назад

      You're moving office too much Brian ☺️
      As long as the cabinets are installed in a good way, I believe that taking them down to relocate is indeed possible.
      I've been told that, in Germany, it's quite common that apartments are rented without kitchen cabinets, countertop etc. Weird, huh? Then the tenant brings their own.🤔

    Love it. Using the link to double check to make sure. Works also for hidden drawer.
    The only thing I messed up is the rail top or bottom holes for medium and low drawers.

    I have 10” drawer faces, there is no label on the inside of the drawer faces (brown/black faces). The holes have a bit more distance from one edge 1 13/16” on one side and 1 5/8” on the other edge. Is the edge with more distance from the hole the top or bottom of the drawer face? With my luck, if I wing it, it will be wrong.

    Hello. I have a question. Hopefully you have an answer. I put together 3 Sektion cabinets, all with three drawers. I'm having trouble with my top 5" maximera drawers closing on two of my cabinets. It will close right up to about 3/4" and then stop. This is right at the point where the slow closing mechanism should start. I can push the drawer firmly and it will close, but they will not self close. I have one cabinet that is 24" deep and the top 5" drawer does close all the way. The two cabinets that won't close all the way without force are both 15" deep. One if 15" wide and one is 24" wide. The lower and middle drawers on these all close perfectly. The slide for the top is exactly the same as the slide for the middle and bottom. Any ideas what could be wrong?

    • @kitchensbyrannes
      @kitchensbyrannes  5 месяцев назад

      Yeah, best guess is that it's the plastic cap at the back, covering the bracket. Take them off and I'm certain it'll work.

    • @BrianBurrow123
      @BrianBurrow123 5 месяцев назад

      @kitchensbyrannes Thank you so much again. The cap was my first thought however, I leaned inside looking with a bright light, I filmed it with my phone and I just couldn't see any contact with the caps. I did remove the caps on both of those drawers and they immediately worked!
