My mother passed away in 2013 when I was 25 and I can remember her singing this song like it was yesterday! It definitely jerks a tear every time I hear it.
This Lady was one of the Greatest country singers of all times both Beautiful and Talented and always gave her all in her performances Thank you Tanya for the music and memories Keep going Love ya Tanya
I first heard Tanya Tucker many years ago when she was in her teens. I loved her voice: strong, clear and lyrical. She was beautiful then and she's improved with age. I love her voice.
Tanya tucker was/is so underappreciated for her contribution to country music. I saw David Allen coe in concert couple years back and he gave her a very deserved praise for work. You're still relevant in 2021 tanya
When my sister was 2 years old, she memorized this song from the radio and sang it all the time. Over and over, everywhere, all the time, lol. She drove us nuts. My grandmother finally bought her a 45 of it so she could sing with Tanya Tucker. My sister died at the end of April, 2014. This song came up in my suggestions today, I haven't thought of it in decades. Bittersweet to hear it again.
Lifelong memories indeed miss lady (Melissa). They are impossible to be relived.Prtriceless to us forever. Its sad that todays younger generation will never have the opportunity able to experience the real heartfelt talent that you & I did back in our day.
This was my favorite song (for some reason) when I was a small child. Back then they had jukeboxes everywhere. I Iwould play this song over and over again . People got MAD.
Always sing this song to her she will love you even when you die keep praying for her I bet she loves you even when you bad never try be the devil to her!

First off, good job on not having any ads. Second, this song is in memory of my great Uncle Lewis, CRA(Civil Rights Attorney, Memphis TN) who passed away this morning. Idk why but this song will always remind me of you. Maybe it's cuz your son sang it to me after we went to your mother's service. Well now Uncle Lewis, you're in that mansion in the sky! I look forward to joining you.

ayye I used to jam this all the time when I was 14, I'm 18 now. but that's cool you're that young knowing such good woman such as Tanya, not many people left like that: )
+fuff66uk I agree, I'm only 18 but I listen to classics such as hank Williams, johnny cash, merl haggard, Waylon Jennings, Linda ronstadt etc, so yeah it's rare to find girls our age that actually listen to GOOD MUSIC and not just noise: -))

Tanya was born with an older woman's voice. Mature, raspy, sultry, experienced, full and she had at age 13, incredible.
Reminds me of Brenda Lee.

And this was in the days of zero *auto-tuning* etc. Not many vocalists can carry the same tune, live. Tanya Tucker was, and is, a true talent. 💖
She's mouthing the entire song. I agree with you but she's not singing this in real time.
