The GMC Acadia is no stranger. It’s been around since 2006 for the 2007 model year, sitting on the same GM Lambda platform as the Chevrolet Traverse, Saturn Outlook and the Buick Enclave. The lineup was initially intended to replace, essentially, the vans that were being discontinued due to the rising popularity of people wanting to get out of minivans and into 3-row crossover utilities. The GMC Acadia was unique to GMC in that it was the first front-wheel drive unibody vehicle that GMC ever produced since the GMC Motorhome from 1973. The first generation ran from the 2007-2016 model years, with the second generation running from the 2017 to 2023 model years.
Now, today, we enter the 3rd generation of the Acadia. Extensively redesigned and moved from the Spring Hill Assembly plant, Saturn’s old facility, to the Lansing Delta Township Assembly Plant in Lansing, Michigan. The newest generation was first shown at the 2023 North American International Auto Show, and just started hitting dealership showrooms. The Acadia is a large vehicle, sharing its wheelbase with the GMC Yukon, and styled much more aggressively and commanding, to better align it with the pickup trucks in the lineup. Despite its rugged appearance, the new Acadia, especially in Denali trim, resides a most luxurious, beautifully styled interior. It sits on the GM Epsilon platform and only comes with one engine; the 2.5L turbocharged inline-4 cylinder. That’s a lot to ask for an almost 5,000-pound vehicle. Our Acadia Denali was produced in June of 2024.

3rd row seat problem with headrests. Denali trim has electric folding option that often fails!
No parts available and they don’t know when they will be able to resolve the issues!
Wait to buy unless you don’t mind the headache.

Definitely a beautiful two tone leather interior part of the Denali package also did the GMC Acadia were introduced for 2006 model after it's Discontinuation of the minivans like the Chevrolet astro and GMC Safaris at the time
