@@micah2247 I grew up around bracket racing kinda but never my family never had the money to build a race car. just did it with friends. but these guys with all the money building the fast cars and sharing with kids like him is amazing. thats how u keep the passion and love for the sport alive!
I know it's easy to watch videos like this and "assume" what is going on. Yes, he was born into a racing family - it truly is in his blood- His Great Grandad, both current Granddads and Mom and Dad are into racing. But by no means are we rich (in monetary terms) - shoot we are a racing family -that and rich don't go together.
The coolest thing for Blayne, that he may have a little understanding of now, is that the entire community is behind him. No better world to be a part of than the racing world.
Man you guys have some good souls. It's awesome you let him pilot the truck to get his license. He really is a lucky little guy and is gonna be a killer driver with a little more seat time.
Watching the Crew chief grow up like this thru the years is awesome! From rmrw vids, 1320 and more plus the week you had him at the shop, hopefully more young humans follow in his footsteps to keep this culture thriving!
Doug.. you and your company are a class act ..that made memories for that family and you made a friend for life not to mention .gained an immense amount of respect form the racing community as well ..thank you for that..
That was Really dam cool to do that for Blane ! He's been working his way up with his dad for a long time, been great to watch him grow.Good on ya for doing that man..
Glad that rig runs so good. Ive been watching blayne help his dad on rocky mountain race week or one of those for years...good hard working kid! Nice you helped him out with licensing; way to go Doug
Blayne is a heck of a kid! Ive been following him since they started showcasing him on drag and drive events! He's the future and we need more kids like him keeping the drag racing legacy alive!❤❤❤ Go Blayne!!!
I’ve watched that kid on every race week and he always has a positive attitude for any problem that comes up! Doug you’re awesome for giving him the truck to get his license! Sick week is gonna be great!
Young fella, when you get an offer to work in a great place with awesome people who want to teach you everything they know, don't think just shake the man's hand and say yes sir! The Motion guys can see a lot of potential in you "even if you are still nervous". You are a good kid, they see that too. Some people will say they are only doing it to help the motion brand. Well, if that's true then it works out well for both of you. However, I think they are doing it because they enjoy helping others and seeing you grow into a world class racer as well as an awesome human knowing they had even a small part in that is like the biggest proud dad moment for all the guys. Whatever you do moving forward know that you have some of the most skilled, nicest and coolest people who care about you and your future backing you! You got this kiddo, just keep your ears clean and your eyes open!
Everyone is saying lucky kid. I think it's more lucky dad. He's a good kid, respectful, status out of trouble. I'm sure there's a lot of jealous dad's out there. Awesome move letting Blayne drive the truck
I didn’t know I needed to know this much detail until I watched your video. Please KEEP all this detail, hugely helpful with tackling tasks from the Honey Do Corporation.
That is just awesome! I can't wait to show my son the video tonight when I get home from work. Maybe it will inspire him to do more of the same. I grew up around fast cars and street racing with my uncle and have had my share of fast cars. Now I want to pass it on to my son with our 421 sbc nova.
This content was awesome give that kid a job ! Watched him for years now on all the different race weeks changing parts/engines with his dad in the pits at races. Definitely going places
That was so much fun seeing your new driver on the big block pickup every time he got out with that big smile on his face it was amazing a big tums up to motion race work for doing that.
That’s awesome! I got my license at 17 in my uncles super comp dragster, it was intense! Glad to see Blayne getting his license so early, gonna be a champ really soon, may even see him hit the big time in a TF car one day
Cool video. Time flies I remember when that young man was just alittle guy helping his dad out.Hes very lucky to have so many good friends through racing..Its well deserved you can tell hes a good kid..
That’s awesome you let him use the truck to get licensed. Way to go Doug and the whole Motion Crew on building a ride that litterly anyone can jump in and drive. There are so many race cars with little quirks but the truck seems dialed
OMG so happy for that young man got his NHRA license Big shot out to all the motion. People for helping the young man get license blame. You gotta go and on brother. I would definitely be a proud dad
I just have a few questions that you might be able to answer. 1. How big is the headers on the zz632? 2. Would you recommend that you can have a ZZ632 in a 1960 Cadillac deville - dream car and dream engine.😊 Love your work keep going!
That’s awesome! I like how many in the car community overlap so much. Been watching roadkill from beginning. Then watching Finnegan/ roadkill, I discover Cleetus. Then watching Cleetus I find Westin, VGG, Roman Atwood, KSR, motion. Now I see this kid in your truck so I got to follow him.
Congratulations Blane a new NHRA license holder. And good on the Motion Raceworks crew for letting Blane make is license passes in the OBS truck. He nailed it.
You can really tell in this video that Doug genuinely cares a whole lot about this kiddo!! Blayne's an awesome kid, I got it, but it's just nice to see..
That’s a cool deal truck and the 16 year old. Impressed the truck ran 9.30s right off the bat through the exhaust. I’d like to see the difference once the tune was cleaned up and limiter raised between open headers and the first 2 mufflers
I was thinking 9.50 thats sure a badass hot rod and totally my style I just wish I could afford the powerplant I'm more of a buy parts slowly and build all at once at the end type of guy
Congratulations to Blayne for getting his NHRA license! Darn nice final run. 👍
You made Blayne a memory of his lifetime Doug. Good stuff man.
Luckiest kid on the planet!!! I would have given everything to grow up in a racing world and community like this
hell i grew up around all of this stuff just never had the money as a kid and neither did my folks.

Tbh you can spend 5k and have yourself a low 9 second rig, buy a decent roller a junkyard motor of your choice and either nitrous or cheap turbo kit
Wouldn’t we all…
The coolest thing for Blayne, that he may have a little understanding of now, is that the entire community is behind him. No better world to be a part of than the racing world.

You the man Doug. Seeing Blayne rip that pickup to a low 9 second pass had me grinning like an idiot.
Doug.. you and your company are a class act ..that made memories for that family and you made a friend for life not to mention .gained an immense amount of respect form the racing community as well ..thank you for that..
