- After the tune the car felt nice down low pulling in 180gs reading from the MAF sensor.
However, it started to missfiring up top end higher in the rev range on full boost.
Decided it was time to look into fuel, funnily one of my mates had he's uprated fuel pump on hand as he use to have a golf GTI with a k04.

That hose gosh - i ended cutting off. To fit the new hose (my kit came with hose, hose clamps, new rubber seals, new filter) i heated up the tips of the hose with a hairdryer
Yeah sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do to get it off haha

Hi mate, love the your content. I have a 2001 Mk4 AGU and car got tuned recently. My mechanic did not fit my Dw65v pump when the car got mapped, so my question is will the car over fuel if i fit the pump now?
Hi mate no it won't you don't need another map if you install it👍
Great content, I’m on my 2nd GTI, Mk4 and mk6. I just swapped my engine on the mk4, I was thinking about doing this fuel system upgrade, is it necessary to get a tune If do?
Hi there! If you do fuel pump and filter then no.
If you touch injectors then yes you need a tune ideally.
My fuel pump went out and I'm going to replace the oem with this pump
Go for it, it's a great pump and fueling hasn't been an issue!

did swap the same pump in my 1.8t but after 2times driving it start making strange noises, i think its broken already.

Yes it did, I had sputtering issues when boost was over 18 psi

Yes it is Colour MFA and I believe it's discontinued for now...
How’s the pump holding up? Still trying to decide if I should up grade the pump or not.. lol
Pump is perfect still my man.
I would only upgrade the fuel pump if you are experiencing fueling issues like missfire studdering.
Always change the easy stuff first, fuel filter, injector clean etc etc.
@@ajrveedub well not experiencing anything to crazy at the moment. I’m running stage 2 and only get a wee bit stuttering at WOT.

That cluster is from a MK4 R32 with a full FIS Colour MFA added.
