Playing Support is great. Was defending Foy with level 3 loadout, US team on Offense GER. Yes! As a former offensive lineman in high school and a support main that sense of pride you have in enabling the rest of the team is so much of what makes this class satisfying to me. You fill that need that everyone else has, and that they always wish someone could fill, but they never expect it to actually happen until you pop in and surprise them. like the vids you put out, keep up the great work. i will say you missed one thing with the support, they can spot enemy on the map when a recon plane is up to help out the squad leader
@@SoulSniperYT I might need to rewatch this after 2-3 matches trying out Support. I was thinking it took 50 supplies to build a garrison but it seems to take 100. So a Support person cannot help a squad leader place a garrison. I wondered why I couldn't seem to get ANYONE to build a garrison when I dropped supplies. I get the utility of a level 3 and above Support where you can drop ammo boxes, but the early levels seem to be pointless?
If you are in friendly territory, a Garrison only costs 50 supplies, so you can single handedly supply your SL with enough supplies (one box) to build one. But in enemy territory, a Garrison costs 100 supplies. So you can either ask commander for a supply drop, make a supply truck run, or have 1 support guy drop his supplies, then redeploy and switch roles and have another player switch to support and drop their 50 supplies, giving your SL the 100 he needs to build a Garrison. Make sense?
@@SoulSniperYT Absolutely, that's the info that fills the gaps in my knowledge. We had just spawned off an air-head and were trying to get a garrison built. I didn't know enemy territory caused a garrison to cost 100 supplies. Thanks!
The tone of your voice and humor kind of reminds me of ThisOldTony, LOL! Nice video, though. Support is a really good go-to class and the people who main it are godsends. When I play support, my favorite part is to work alongside Officers to set garrisons down. Other than that, I mainly play on Defense and help the engineers build stuff while giving them supplies every few minutes. It's a really easy way to get commendations on the board!
The best thing about Support is that he is the only one beside the sl and commander who can See the enemys with the recon plane so he can get valuable Information and give a heads up for the team
I literally apologized the other day because the SL was kinda new and I pestered him throughout the whole game to put garrisons down. He listened but I could tell he felt shackled to me lol. But I mean. That's the role of the SL. He wanted to just get into firefights, but I kept pulling him away from it lol.

Earned 30,000 xp in one match today. Not from nodes or grinding, but just for playing the support role. Built 22 structures with engineers while dropping new supplies ever 2.5 mins ( we had a manpower node at the point)
I'm still very new so I just play rifleman. But once I'm comfortable with what everything is and how it works, I'm probably gonna main support. I always overhear squad leaders complaining about a lack of supplies while defending points
It's a great step up from rifleman because the loadouts are very similar and it gives you an important responsibility that Squad leaders are always in need of.
Resource nodes are just objects that Engineers can build that generate resources for the Commander to be able to use his or her call in abilities. Think of it like currency for the commander. A fuel node generates fuel which the Commander can use to spawn in vehicles and armor. A munitions node generates ammo for bombing runs, strafing runs, artillery, etc. So basically if your team doesn't build nodes at the start of the game, your Commander will run out of resources pretty quickly and won't be able to support the team with their special call in abilities. Does that make sense? I cover how it works in my Engineer guide here: ruclips.net/video/6DEzh1v2w5c/видео.html
I add my videos to my steam profile and tag them with Hell Let Loose. When I go to my steam library and click on HLL I've seen my vids there before. Is that what you mean or is there somewhere else you're talking about?
Question on Nodes... You mention placing them in the first friendly sector due to them being lost if placed in a forward sector that falls, which makes complete sense. My question is, though... If you're doing one of those things where you're support with an engineer (possibly more) and building up a forward area's defenses, would it THEN make sense to just drop a manpower node near the area you're building up? Because over the course of just like 7 1/2 minutes, you'll already be ahead in the supplies department. Heck, if you had two support players both at the buffed supply speed and an engineer, you could really do a LOT of "damage"
Yea, I mean as a general practice I'd say the majority of your nodes should be in the first sector, but being able cut supply cooldowns in half can certainly be a benefit and, hopefully if that allows you to fortify the area well, you will be less likely to lose that sector and your nodes along with it.
It's any supplies, not just your own squads. I think they may have reduced the distance it displays from 50m to 30m, at least that's what I recently heard.
So I’m torn between support and automatic and medic roles. I want something that’s easy to play but also has some huge utility benefit or bonus for my team. Which do you recommend for a good time while not being too insanely difficult?
Well support definitely has more utility benefit for the team than auto rifleman. Auto rifleman is basically just a combat role. Support gives you supplies and/or ammo, which can help the team more. Especially supplies for building garrisons. Medic, if played right and in the right circumstances, can also be helpful to the team, but less combat effective. It's up to you, but whatever one you choose, watch my tutorial on it and play accordingly and you'll be fine.
I need help. I can’t get into a match since update on June 5th 2024. “Network error has occurred”. Literally tried everything. Even reached out to Xbox support and they said it’s a developer issue after trouble shooting. Someone please help me out. I can’t even play a single match. I can’t make it past the Home Screen each time for 3 days now.
I don't get what's so hard for people to switch to support for one life and drop supplies, and then go back to any other class. It's like two steps is more than the average person has brain cells; it would be either that or breathing for them and natural selection takes care of the rest.
After this tutorial I have a question if me as a support player help an engie building a node whit my hammer do I get rewarded that xp boost once the nodes give resorces
I got HLL on console a few months ago and play with my brother. I only recently started playing Support because we were both frustrated by the lack of garrisons from uncooperative SL's or Commanders, and one thing that I have noticed over the 5 or 6 matches I played as Support is that there are almost zero Support players at all. Looking at the rest of my team I can't recall seeing a single blueberry Support symbol. I never thought to do the swap class trick to get two supply crates down though, that would be very handy for enemy territory. Do Outposts stay if the SL switches classes? I ask because usually if my brother isn't squad lead I am.
Welcome man! Good for you for playing the Support role! If an SL switches to Support, the outpost will remain, so that technique will still work for ya!
Bro I drop supplies then everyone asked for them for the next five minutes while calling me a fuckhead for not dropping them even as I’m telling them I DONT HAVE ANY
This role could be so much more satisfying if engineers and squad leaders used them to their potential. I often feel like a desperate child looking for a friend when I’m running around asking people to go build a garrison or build defenses together… That’s game pass I guess

Whenever I play support i seem to run all over the map trying to place supplies but unable to
Thanks!!!
Thanks for watching!
Watching your tutorial vid while I load into your dedicated server lmfaooooooo
My man!
if other classes press T on pc to view the icons do they see all supplies in the area or just ones dropped by their support?
It's any supplies, not just your own squads. I think they may have reduced the distance it displays from 50m to 30m, at least that's what I recently heard.
Make bestfriends with the AT guy so yall can use the AT guns to bombard positions when you don't got tanks or artillery
Support is my favorite regardless cause of the grease gun
The grease gun is fun to use lol
I honestly hate the grease gun. Low damage, low fire rate, horrible iron sight. I'd take basically anything else instead
I think is M3 Grase Gun !
6:56 my guy just rambo the hell out the enemies
Haha I know. Just slingin from the hip
We are the reason you get off that beach
That's a fantastic point! We appreciate you!
Awesome metaphor coming from a football player that support = OL. Foundation of the offense. I played CB, which class would that be for you?
Hmmm. I suppose CB would be like the squad that hangs back on defense to make sure the teams garrisons aren't destroyed.
00:08 Ohhhh no... SS
thank you
Thanks for watching!
As an AT player, I love each and every support player. You make my job easier and I could just kiss you.❤
So is the node Tricks still work in the home line area?
What exactly are you referring to?
No chance to know where to drop the suply box.
They should do hell let loose terminator
Times that's game is placed and Yours chanel SS shortcut is.. I don't know, it's fried as.. nvm😅

I have 100 hours in PURE support dear lord help me LOL I SOO badly want to play machine gunner but nobody picks support so looks like it's up to me
Good on you for being the responsible adult dude, but you know what? If you wanna go Brrrrrrrrt, than damn it you should go Brrrrrrrrt!
lol this is me as squad leader. I dont want to, but no one else does either
Grease gun it's just the best headshot machine in the game.
Haha yea it has a way of climbing right up the chest to the head, doesn't it?
@@SoulSniperYT indeed, it was that magical way to deliver the dink melody when you most need it. its also surprisingly accurate at medium range though
"Dink melody" lol
I just want the flamethrower
I'm not mad at it lol
Bro I drop supplies then everyone asked for them for the next five minutes while calling me a fuckhead for not dropping them even as I’m telling them I DONT HAVE ANY
FLAMMENWERFER
This game seriously needs some FPS optimization damn it.
So as a logo is questionable…
What?
@@SoulSniperYT ss
@@brandonrickett6798 is that what you're seeing for the support guide video? I changed it a long time ago for that reason.
This role could be so much more satisfying if engineers and squad leaders used them to their potential. I often feel like a desperate child looking for a friend when I’m running around asking people to go build a garrison or build defenses together… That’s game pass I guess
semi transparent. the word youre looking for is opaque.
Lmao there it is! Will use that from now on lol
1:02 theres no such thing as an "m1" grease gun
Noice,
