The smoke advice is great. As an MG role I love when the enemy smokes themselves to advance on my position. You can still see them fairly easily but they believe they are invisible and will blindly run right out in the open. You can tell who the smart players are cuz they will smoke your position which forces you to either wait or reposition.

Two matches we couldn't even capture the 1st point because the lobby is full of noobs that get thrown in without any instruction. Plus the MG can't be mounted anywhere useful 99% of the time or you finally run up to a tank but can't satchel because you can't walk and use your hands at the same time and THE FUCKING FOG! Like bro PLEASE get rid of it. What's the point of having huge maps when you can't see more than 100m fuck I have better than 20/20 vision in real life. This game makes me feel like I need glasses or something lol

@@brian_hibbs The game can be pretty frustrating, but the server browser isn't necessarily better. Most servers will either be completely full, or 30/100. Any good servers are blocked by ''SPANISH/FRENCH/GERMAN ONLY'' which sucks

It's sad really that there isn't a reward for supressing or even assisting a kill on an enemy for things like the automatic riflemen and machine gunner, it would make it alot more rewarding to play as a class. Excellent videos though! Really liking the segmented style and clear explanations! Much love
Thanks man, I appreciate the kind words! I agree that suppression should be rewarded with XP. I think there are lots of opportunities to rebalance the amount of XP earned across all roles. Like building or destroying a garrison should be rewarded with big XP imo..

A quick note - a reason to never throw smoke on yourself or your teammates is the enemy can see the outline of your character through the smoke. I found this out two weeks ago in squad practice.

I feel like the devs missed the opportunity to add a really cool and unique gun for the Russian AR class with the AVS-36 which was widely used by the red army just on a smaller scale than some of their other weapons, with it being an automatic rifle as well it kinda fits. These videos have really helped out btw man as a returning player it really helps. Big love from the UK

I can picture anti tank players coordinating with the commander to drop ammo proactively before engaging a tank in case they need more rockets. On the flip side, tank crews will want to keep an eye on the skies to destroy incoming ammo drops to prevent this very thing.
If you see there aren’t any garrisons & you don’t have a support in your squad, switch to Support. While it maybe good for a “base of fire”, in real pub matches you’re better off playing something useful like Support, AT or Engineer because as much as you will try to suppress the enemy, your squad is still gonna run straight at them like a bunch of monkeys.
Your videos are all very helpful and I'd be much worse in my first 3 hours tonight witho0ut them. But this game is still fn hard. I managed to level 7 my assault guy, which is also somehow level II, I still don't know which talk keys are nearby, squad, or commander. The map is confusing. I'll watch more videos of yours and others. Can't believe I'm studying for a game more than I studied for some of my EE classes in college. I'm a good shot, but I get killed a lot by invisible men ;-) I had a good time on your server for a round, everyone was helpful and talked just enough, then somehow my mouse got stuck in the top-left quadrant of my screen so I had to restart and you were full, and I ended up on an OK server except no one really talked. Without teamwork this is really a run-until-you-die-by-the-invisible-man simulator. It's somehow still fun though so I'll keep at it.

I don’t make video but I have a trick to hit far off targets as officer or recon just put the binoculars dot on the enemy switch to ur rifle quickly and hold ur breath then bang works every time

Not gonna lie, when they added the FG42 I fangirled hard. There is something about it’s appearance that just speaks to me 😂 I’ve gotten more comfortable with it now and I quite like it, although I think the STG44 is the better choice.
Why did the developer shy away from the SVT and AVT for the Soviets? I feel like it would balance the classes a bit better between factions. There must be a piece I am not seeing...

@@SoulSniperYT not that you could tell the difference really. Though our current tech is amazing you still need to be pretty close range to actually be able to tell the difference between classes given current graphics.

When I play MG I light up smoke screens whenever I see them. Almost guaranteed a couple kills!
I tend to smoke off long cover ways to keep my teammates heads covered. I also use this to push up and smoke MG positions.
Always go round the smoke never through it

Focus on flanking and positioning. Take your time to sneak to the side or behind enemies so you have the drop on them and can engage on your terms.

Yea I'd agree with this. It's a more important role and you can always switch back once you've taken care of building garrisons.

I use the MG for like suppesing enemy or using them to deal some damage to enemies in other games
They made all weapons so accurate in long distances that the PPsH doesn't stand a chance in HLL.
