Exactly! It sucks so hard when you have a good group and lots of time then they never arrive lol. I have another vid (I believe it's suggested at the end of this one) where we tried to build a fortress in Hurtgen and basically run out of time once we got our supplies delivered so the enemy arrives and all we have are supply boxes everywhere lol. We joked about it and doubled down and acted like we saved the day and the only reason we'd defend is because of our amazing work haha. It's a good one.

That was my buddy Neve running the grease gun and I don't think he's got much experience with it yet. I've got a vid on my channel where I ran the grease gun all game and did quite well with it. It packs a punch up close and is a headshot machine actually!
You know there were guys on the other team pissin & moaning about, "Maybe if SL would've put down his outposts we wouldn't have had to run so far! We almost had them at that one point!"
But of course there were lol. It was an interesting point to fortify because the enemy was coming from the east downhill so you couldn't really see each other til they got close.
Love it ! Maybe add some mapps explanations during the fortification time, of where you want to built what, how you will do it, what you are expecting (flanking or what ever) :)
My next video actually is kinda that scenario. I defend on the active sectors while cutting back to my squad mates building a mega fortress. It's the biggest fortress I've ever seen built!
Watching this reminds me of the Time I went on the Bob the Builder server not knowing what its was about I walked up to about 30 guys working on a bunker, I watched for a bit then ask if this was a cult? As one they stopped Hammering turned towards me and shot me. lol
MGs would be good to cover side roads but hedgehog on the roads leading into towns an put mines so they won’t be able to pass easily place wire in eras you can funnel them into kill zones an AP mines in the two streets

After 30 years of being a playstation player, i’ve choose to build a pc and to live the full expérience. ❤️
I started like you. Spent entire games just focused on trying to find enemies and not die. Scored a few kills a game. Way more deaths. Eventually started getting 10 kills a game and like 39 deaths lol. Eventually got to the point of breaking even, and then having a positive K/D ratio. At some point decided to start a RUclips channel and one day decided that I wanted my footage to be cleaner and more immersive. So I disabled the HUD and turned off friendly markers. At first I hesitated because I wasn't positive I was aiming at enemies. I also got a few TKs per game for a while. But always apologized in text chat. Eventually you just learn exactly what the enemies look like, move like, and where they are likely to be and not be. It's a process and it comes with thousands of hours in the game.
Honestly we just wanted to try to fortify the town area but kinda realized a few min in how it was the very edge of town and not ideal for building. But hey, we won still lol.
I definitely found placing blueprints to be difficult in many areas around Mortain outskirts. it would be really fun to be right in the heart of the town instead of the outskirts
Hey soul sniper. I just recently got HLL and love the game. I exclusively play your server as it is the most friend fun I have found. I was banned on your server a few days ago due to a glitch. I was on top of a transportation truck heading straight into the enemy. I decided to throw grenades off the top of the truck to try and kill the groups of enemies. The grenades glitched inside the truck and killed everyone on it. I was banned as a result of this. I hope you can believe me and allow me to play in your server again. My user is SendWombatPics. I hope you see this. If you decide to not unban me I completely understand that you don’t tolerate team killers but could you do me a favor and just reply to this with your decision? It's so sad to see that this is the best ww2 fps around still, there is so much that could be done better and that is keeping it from becoming a much more popular game

These fortresses are a bit unnecessary. I would agree. I made an in-depth tutorial about fortifications and I think some simple barbed wire in strategic locations to funnel enemies into kill zones is most effective.
