Is Xfinity Mobile Worth The Switch?

- So I was able to I worked with Comcast on this experience with Xfinity Mobile, which reflects my experiences with Xfinity Mobile in the Boston area and on the go (including a road trip to the mountains in New Mexico!). So if you have Xfinity Internet, consider Xfinity Mobile for your mobile data needs.
Since I did the video, I wanted to share one important update: Xfinity Internet customers are participating in the federal government's Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP). The $30/month benefit can be applied to Xfinity Internet and Xfinity Mobile service. Comcast's Xfinity Mobile service, which includes 5G, is now available to customers enrolled in ACP, giving them the ability to save money on their connectivity needs inside and out of the home. Internet Essentials customers can use their $30/month ACP discount to pay for Xfinity Internet and Xfinity Mobile services. For example, an Internet Essentials customer (paying $9.95/month) can add one line of By the Gig on Xfinity Mobile ($15/month) well within the ACP discount. New and existing Xfinity Internet or Internet Essentials customers can visit www.xfinity.com/acp for more information.
I get into it more in the video, but Xfinity Mobile is available to all Xfinity Internet customers (including Internet Essentials users). Unlike other carriers, they have several different packages - unlike other carriers - you can switch month to month based on your needs, from unlimited ($45/month) to By the Gig ($15/month). This is a tremendous value because it includes access to 5G, wherever available (including throughout the Boston area). And, savings increase as you add more lines, so if you had four lines, you could get unlimited for $30/month per line. So, should you turn to Xfinity for your cellular service? Here's a closer look at the rest of the details to see if Xfinity Mobile is right for you.

Wow! Paid my first bill.Two lines unlimited with Xfinity was $60.00 plus another $19.72 in taxes, fees!. With T-Mobile it was $60.00 for two lines unlimited (55+Plan) all in. Definitely Not worth it!
I have had nothing but awful experiences dealing with xfinity over the last week... I'm such a chill person, but i'm literally about to lose it over all of this..

I have Xfinity internet and security for my home I need GPS to be on point because I use for work I have AT&T now so would I be ok if I switch to Xfinity using the GPS for work thanks.

For real bro. Only data provider I’ve had that was actually unlimited high speed was T-Mobile, but they suck where I’m at. I live in Indiana and a lot of places in the midwest region have little to no service from T-Mobile. And they also lock your phones so when you try to switch carriers you gotta go through some trouble to get them unlocked.
I've been screwed over by Xfinity so much over the last 30 years. I would trust them if their tongue came notarized. I actually had one of their employees sign me up for cable, then install the box at his home while I paid for it. After they figured it out they actually asked me to give them a 5-star rating. Hilarious!

I spent 5 days just trying to get the new Moto G phone that they sent activated.. over 7 hours on customer support over the course of 2 days alone.. just to find out that the phone plan I was in is completely different from the plan that the sales rep offered me & from what I agreed to. Really pissed about that. Now, i try to switch back over to my previous carrier/phone plan.. and since it's been terminated, they cannot reactivate, so I'm either forced to continue with this xfinity plan that is NOT what I had agreed to, or start over as a new customer/new phone number & possibly new phone with my previous carrier. This entire experience has been a massive headache, and i would NEVER recommend xifinity mobile to anybody. Just dealing with the automated system/long wait times, lack of knowledge of their employees and false information given to new customers if enough of a red flag for me...
I will say xfinity mobile has the worst customer service in the industry. Every person you speak with is overseas and works off a script. They barely speak English and I know that sounds racist but it's not. You have to be able to understand English to help English speaking customers.
They will rip you off!

Xfinity employee here, as long as the phone you own has been payed off yes you can upgrade it, just make you aren't under a contract

Xfinity mobile is the absolute worst service I ever had. I’ve had just about every service here in Maryland and Xfinity is the worst. Service is slow and whenever me or one of the other 3 people on my plan left Maryland we didn’t have service (even in Washington). The customer service is so bad you have to mentally prepare yourself to deal with the incompetent representatives. If you are thinking about switching to Xfinity mobile DON’T DO IT!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!!
