    Hi Gerard!
    Thank you for creating this video.
    I had a request. Can you also create a video on how you created the telecoms churn analysis in Mavens Challenge? I read through your blog and got a hold of some parts. However, I am more keen on learning how you created the final visualization step by step. I would love to recreate that once you have a video on it. Or, if you already have a .pbix file or a link where it sits, could you please share it with me?

      I'll add showing normalised data to the list for future videos.

    hey Gerard, thanks for sharing
    why did you go with field parameters instead of a detached table with just names? ease of creation?

    • @dganalysis
      @dganalysis  Год назад

      Thanks, are you referring to creating a parameter list for the three measures?

      @@dganalysis exactly, it works as a slicer with a SELECTEDVALUE anyway

    Hi Gerard, great presentation and lovely new trick to learn. I was following through the tutorial and i dont know what i did wrong but my slicers for Max parameters does not work. I followed all through the steps here and on medium

      Hi, what is not working? Is it the parameters? Can you copy and send me your calc for the net revenue?
      I'll try and help you solve it

      The slicer for the all the max parameters are not working.
      Net Order Revenue =
      SUMX(order_details,
      order_details[unitPrice]
      * order_details[quantity]
      * (1-order_details[discount]))
      Colour Format Employee Rev Bar =
      var var_1 = [Max Revenue]
      var Result =
      If(var_1 = [Net Order Revenue], "#45788c", "#e9e9e9")
      Return
      Result
      Conditional Format Bar Chart =
      Var Var_1 = SELECTEDVALUE('Max Parameters'[Max Parameters Fields])
      Var Result =
      SWITCH(TRUE(),
      Var_1 = "'Bullet Rev Chart'[Max Revenue]", [Colour Format Employee Rev Bar],
      Var_1 = "'Bullet Rev Chart'[Max Orders]", [Colour Format Employee Order Bar],
      Var_1 = "'Bullet Rev Chart'[Max RevPO]", [Colour Format Employee RevPO Bar])
      Return
      Result

      @osanyinayodeji6741 take a look at the conditional format bar chart calc.
      I don't think you will be referencing "bullet chart". You should be referring to the calcs you are creating.
      I think you will be getting an error for this one.

    I was looking N number of videos and ended up with video which solve my problem almost 😄.
    But I was trying to make similar way for scatter chart but using created measures in X-axis & y-axis and ended with no results
    Que - How I can make dynamic X & Y-axis based on measure where X-axis has measures X1, X2, X3 & Y-axis has measure Y1, Y2, Y3. Let say if I select X1 than automatically Y1 will select in Y-axis and same for X2 & X3. Is it possible in Power bi
