Parkway Drive are the best on stage. I've been to a hell of a lot of their shows in fact I planned my wives "dream" vacation to Australia around their first tour show of 2017 and pissed her t'f off lol.. never let me down for sure.

@@liamransley1655 the best album in my opinion was Atlas, there is litteraly not one bad song on that album, but their 2 best songs are from ire in my opinion: Crushed and Dying to Believe.

Absolutely love this song! Kinda felt the same way when my dad committed suicide. I wrote a song for my band, Dreamstate Illusion called The Hourglass, although this song was from a different perspective. I wrote it from my perception of his mindset in his psychological downfall, as opposed to the way I was feeling about his death. I hadn’t seen him for a long time, so this was my way of personally putting closure on the matter and laying him to rest. Certainly not as heavy as this composition, but still as deeply emotional. R.I.P, Tony x.

Jonathan Persson it really wasn’t though. It had as many heavy moments as Ire and not far behind Atlas and Deep Blue. I feel like people are so against new sounds that they don’t like anything that isn’t what the first couple albums sounded like. Breakdown of Sanity disbanded because of this shit, they didn’t want to deal with the push and pull of “if you sound too much like your old selves you’re generic and if you stray from what you used to sound like you are a sellout or you went mainstream.” I hate that mentality. I’m not saying that’s what you were saying by saying it’s rock, I’m just saying some people take that way too far. Reverence is my second favorite album of theirs behind Horizons and I don’t understand the hate

Reverence is an important album to me, and one of their best in my opinion. I know you generally react to videos, and even though they don’t have many, mostly just audio, I hope you react to more from this album especially.

I was never a fan of heavy stuff until I listened to Parkway. The first song I ever heard by them was Vice Grip and it opened me up to their band and a whole new genre. I've seen Parkway 3 times since live. Easily one of my favorite bands.
