Cool review, I was thinking I'd need to get the newer NVG30 but now I'm thinking my NVG10 is sufficient for my purposes.
As far as digital goes the NVG10 is splendid for stargazing but for tactical purposes the NVG30 excels because of the bigger FOV and low latency.
Neat. I love the blue tint. Can you buy gen 3s and compare them?

do you find the nvg30 is a little blurry/ out of focus at the perimeter?
Yes I do.
@@starsandnightvision I bought the 30 for the extra FOV, but you dont actually get a 40 degree FOV, perhaps 30 or even less?, because its fuzzy at the perimeter; I suspect the manufacturer will tell me the nvg30 is not designed for sky watching
@@Peter_Godman1 I am waiting for someone to make an adapter with a better lens like they did for the NVG10. That should fix it.
