I agree, no camera, more robust, metal dove tail mount, water and fog resistant. With that said I really like the Prowl and well worth the money. Keep up the great work and making night vision affordable.
I recently bought a prowl and love it, and in terms of hardware, I think the only thing holding it back is a plastic dovetail adapter. I think an aluminum dovetail would be a huge improvement!

Some upgrade will be the head strap could add an anti-weight pouch so that the prowl will not slip down my head. Lens caps and another Small pouch to put the prowl on the go.I like my prowl and hopefully prowl 2 can exceed it.For me this is pretty good for digital since I cannot import analog nvg.Also water resistant would be good and could cut down the weight as it's still heavy for me

Great question! The Prowl's sensor is sensitive to ambient light at night, however the Corsac is still our most sensitive device to ambient light. I hope this is helpful.
Great question! We do not have an app for the Prowl to watch videos on. You can use the micro USB cable provided to download the videos from the SD card to your computer or laptop, or you can use a micro SD card reader to transfer the files. You can definitely use the Prowl to spot other IR light sources, with its own IR set to zero, so your IR signature is not visible to other IR users. @@VacumOvale

I just received my preordered Prowl. The power button does NOT power up the unit. The only way to turn it on is by using the factory reset above the charging port. Highly frustrating! Any input on how to rectify this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Yo how come my prowls are fully charged and they turn on for a bit and then when I turn them off and try to turn it back on the it light comes on but I don’t see anything out the actual monocular
Hello, I am so sorry to hear you are experiencing this. It sounds like there may be a fault with your Prowls regarding the IR lens retracting. You may be able to tap or flick around the IR lens in order to dislodge it whilst pressing the IR increase button, but this is not ideal. Are you planning on putting future firmware updates out . And there is a big difference between green filter and black and white filter in picking up ambient light. black and white seems to be the best. is there a way to fix this or is it intended?
Great questions! We have no plans to put other firmware updates out at the moment, we currently have only one, to fix a freezing error with the Prowl if its recording speed is set to 60fps. is there any possible way to make a tube version? That has just as good illumination in the dark without any IR. I’m guessing not but the lag is very bad and I know that’s just gotta do with the sensors not being able to see very well.

I have one of those devices and my experience has been disappointing. That device is bad. The image looks blurry and very pixelated. To be able to see closely, I must take it to the highest level. I have a basic swiff and it is far superior to this crap.

If you run duals with the bridge, you'd have to turn them on and adjust them individually, correct?
