Would love to see more of your "Copperplate capitals" series - any hope you'll continue through the alphabet?

Paul, you are so amazing, and your videos are great...Have you thought about making some calligraphy videos and putting on Skillshare.com? I'm sure you would reach a lot of people and get hundreds if not thousands of students...I forgot to say that Skillshare is a teaching platform and is open for everyone now. There are some famous people who put their course there, at least famous designers and artists in the USA, such as Mary McDevitt the lettering artist.

With your CitizenM videos, do the store owners ask you to come around and do the calligraphy?

I think all steel nibs are scratchy. As you improve you'll find yourself much more used to drawing hairlines with ease.

How do you get that wife stroke on the top of the F? I can't do it for the F OR T 😭

Kotori Sama I am not going to answer this question because it is clearly shown in the video You need to pay more attention to what is being done. This tells me you are not conscious of what is happening with the tool. I am sorry to be blunt but if you want to get better at this script, or any script for that matter you need to pay closer attention. Let me know how you think it is done, at least try and I will help.

PaulAntonioScribe thank you. Your hand movement is very swift and smooth... comes with being a professional and years of practice which I am far from 😅 but I believe you angle the nib a bit, whereas what I was doing was just adding pressure without angling the nib so it didn't do the wide feather stroke (idk what the proper term is)
I appreciate your replies. It has helped me improve a lot!!! Thank you for being so gracious!!!! I'm very grateful for it.

Well done! Paying attention to what is happening not only with the tutor but with what YOU are doing is super important. I turn the reservoir on the nib is parallel to the baseline. This allows the nib to spread laterally! Well done for paying attention. I am always willing to help if I can see you are laying an effort.
