Yeah sure, I built out an XCOMPACT which is in the video and it takes a shorter magazine than the "full size" Wilson Combat grip module. If you run the WC grip and you are swapping it out with a XCOMPACT grip you will need to use full size magazines and the XCOMPACT mags will not fit. Hope this helps, thanks for watching!

Thank you for the great and informative video. You say after unboxing the FCU that you "have a POSITIVE RESET TRIGGER" as an upgrade that you put on it. Did you actually perform that upgrade yourself after receiving the FCU, or did you get it upgraded like that out of the box?
Can you post an update on your compact with the legion sight plate? how well is sighting on that one? just picked up the model that retains the rear sight but am thinking about swapping as I dont intend to mount a red dot, and have the X5 sight plate?
The sight has worked great! I really like the ability to adjust the left right and I have been very happy with the rear sight. It’s not tritium and is blacked out so if that’s ok for you it should work very well. Thanks for your feedback.
The serialized portion of the P320 is the FCU only, this is how SIG can sell the Custom Works FCU as a stand alone product. You can build out any version of the P320 as you wish and SIG even offers a build it yourself studio on their website. Hope this helps and thanks for watching and your comment!
Sig fucked the 320 up in one major way. The modularity is great but between X5 X Carry, X Compact, Legion, 3.6in barrel, 3.9in barrel Specter, full grip, medium grip..... etc. It's too much for any average person to keep straight. I've been in the gun community for 20 years, I am very familiar with the nitty-gritty with firearms, even shot USPSA for a bunch of years. My journey to build a full size P320 with a comp out of my X Compact almost made me lose my shit. Just trying to find a holster is a disaster because holster companies haven't quite figured it out yet. Great modularity but almost not worth the headache. Good vid.
It can definitely be crazy, a lot of third party manufacturers don’t distinguish between3.6” and 3.9”, they use common terms like “compact” and they can mean 3.9”. Sometimes you have to call the confirm. SIG have the P320 Spector comp now so you XCOMPACT (I assume PMM) build probably will be easier to get holsters for now. Thanks for watching the channel.
Just recently upgraded to Coyote Pro-Cut slide & went with 3.6” Copper L2D Combat barrel but when I got it, THEIR 3.6” DOES HAVE LCI CUT BUT THE 3.9” DOES NOT!? ALSO the barrel hood doesn’t sit flush when locked up, it’s just short at front & back! Just be aware because it was sold as X-Compact 3.6” barrel….works fine but if OCD about looks then pass on this barrel!
