First: Your apple needs to be pretty ripe and either grainy or soft (not mushy), so most green apples will not work. Second: The skin is strong AF so I just give it a little starting gash with my nails on either side of the top part where the stem is. Note: Removing the stem is optional but recommended for beginners. The hand placement: Thumbs into the stem hole and the bottom of the palms rested on the not indented part firmly, fingers on the other end. Push thumbs in and apart with your palms. The apple will split in 85% of cases. Get ready for it to fly off when it does, when the resistance is broken it creates one beast of a momentum.

The thing about the milk, being poured the other way is actually a working method. But in certain conditions - it's used on a FULL carton of milk/juice, it's poured from a normal, logical distance. If the opening is on the bottom, and you try to pour it, the air going in makes these pulses in the stream. If it's on the top, the air has a clear way in and the stream is smooth. But only for FULL cartons with rectangular shapes.
Any container with an off-center spout in the top. If you pour from the top, it allows you to tip it further, and pour a cleaner stream. If you pour from the bottom, the spout is nearer to vertical, and surface tension will tend to make the liquid stick to the spout, and dribble down the side of the container.

Agree, I listen to audiobooks while falling asleep, only use one and use it the way they show, not only does it stay in your ear, it sounds better. Only time I use wired buds, but it is a useful hack.

As someone who grew up in Korea, I had to go through required military service and one of the things we were taught was how to break open an apple in two. So...I didn't know 5-minute crafts' target audience was Korean men.
The juice-pouring one has some merit because the way they do it allows smooth air flow into the carton, but it's wrong to suggest that you should pour it from such a high distance. Actually, they should suggest holding the carton sideways. Solves both problems. Was it a problem in the first place? No.

If they get caught in something or they get in the way of your hands, they come off easily. If you tuck it around your ears like in the video it's much better held. Agree, I listen to audiobooks while falling asleep, only use one and use it the way they show, not only does it stay in your ear, it sounds better. Only time I use wired buds, but it is a useful hack.
