@@georginikolov1141 Yeah, artists definitely shouldn't get recognition, they should stay obscure and unknown so you can feel cool that you like stuff no ones ever heard of
@@CaseWoo don't mention it, this is a cool video and goood music. I have a question about Volca Drum: how flexible is it in terms of sound? Could you, for example, dial in dnb percussion sound or deathcore kick? I am on a verge of buying the god damn thing...
thank you again for demonstrating a more techno, darker, proper, bouncy character of the drum. after listening to all those bleep and plop and klöck videos i was mildly disappointed. different taste in sound beside, but even the guy from korg seems to be not aware what lurks under the bonnet of this machine. so, case woo, excellent jam again.
@@CaseWoo yeah.....always coming back to this. serious techno machine withthe potential for a techno live-set. asking myself: is there some potst fx going on? especially the kick drum has such a huge body ( no other drum video came to that). or is the sound straight out of the machine? if the last one is the case i will order it directly.
This is such a perfect description. Honestly I've had my volca packed away since I've been working on a project but damn these really deep sounds are making me wanna bust it out!!!
Yeah, it is surprisingly versatile instrument and that's also why it's IMO such a shame it can't take midi notes in. :( Luckily there are really cumbersome workarounds. But man, it would be so awesome, if it would support straight up notes as it is. And also a shame, that it doesn't have USB, so it's pretty much a zero chance Korg can make a firmware update later for the midi notes, when it comes to existing units out there. :( Otherwise it's a great device for its price.
Banging. I so want this after hearing it’s synth bass capabilities. I guess it’s 6 tracks of any noises you like rather than labels drums. I’ll own this next week no doubt because of this demo.👍
This is a banger of a jam, thanks for sharing, and as I’ve just picked up a volca drum a week ago it’s also educational, though I can only dream of crafting anything near this level haha
Not even kidding, when you hook this thing up to an Octatrack and run the audio back into a thru machine, using the OT midi sequencer with this thing as a sound module, between parameter locks, conditional triggers, and 8 tracks of midi LFOs... it's basically a battery powered Machinedrum.
@@eskee1 I source my dopamine from imagining hypothetical scenarios where people read my comments and are impressed by my vast amount off regurgitated knowledge. thank you for your contribution.
This is incredibly good stuff! If you could somehow get all the internal parameters and component states and events out as signals for visualization, moving lights, screens etc. this could fill a big stage in a live show.
This is so good. And like a few other commenters, after seeing this video I’m ordering one of these beautiful little machines. Perfect to ride out the rest of the housebound time until Covid is dead here in USA. Thank you for this inspiration. ✨
It sounds like something that would be straight out of Cyberpunk 2077, facing off against mega-corpo heavies, ruining ALL of the nice hallways with blood, bodies, and gunshots, and hoping you can dodge the streetgangs long enough to complete the mission.
I ended up with the volca fm and drum due to finances. Gutted. That monologue is crying out to me and I’m shit out of bread 🥖 the fm is pretty awesome though. 👍

jamming the volca drum on battery power like a madman.
I did that with mine and the batteries ran flat pretty quick and was like okay power supply it is 🤣🤣🤣
😅
Hi does it come with AC power pack? TIA
@@izziOnBass I got mine a little while ago but no I don't think it does
thanks@@qyurryusss
Very good jam, especially with just the Volca. This is pure techno. None of that business sh*t. This deserves more views compared to other vids.

I came back to this after a year and it is still a banger
Thanks you Marcin!

@@herbertdruschke503 the kick is fat out of the box, only thing I find hard making is a dry slapping snare...
The volca drum is so good for techno and the bass it can kick out is insane.
This, a Volca kick, and an Elektron analog heat would SLAY.
One of the best performances I've seen on the Drum. You squeezed anything techno the drum has to offer. Well done !
Is this even possible?
Just this little box.
You should get a big reward from manufacturer for this awesome techno presentation of volca drum .
this is the best sounding video of the Volca Drum, thank you.
Thank you Andres.
Yea man, it’s hard to get a good bass out of this thing
This synth is build for techno 😂 Awesome man
Best jam on Volca Drum I've ever seen! Cleverly done.
This Volca is a beast! But the fingers bending it to the limit make the difference!
Best thing about this machine is it sounds nothing like drums! Great performance
Feel what you have created. A real powerhouse. 🔊🔥🔊🔥🔊
Amazing jam, this is way more than just a drum synth. Love it
Thanks Ben!

This one is the best Volca Drum Solo jam so far!!
Best demo of the volca Drum so far
Suprisingly the nicest volca jam ! Thanks !
Amazing. Just got mine. Thanks for sharing.
and then I bought one. thanks for the inspiration!
You could write a whole album by just playing this.
You could too.
@@CaseWoo thanks for the painful GAS

korg needs to take notes. Lol
Sounds great! You can use the pan to split it into two channels and then run the lows and highs through separate processing.
This thing is a little beast in the right hands 🎉😊
Mine came in the post yesterday and I just figured out today how to turn it on..
This is awesome 👏🏻
Awesome! You gonna love it! :D
You should do a tutorial man, ( if you have time )
iv watched a few over this past few days and they weren’t that helpful
@i like cookies I got pretty lazy this last while so the answer is no, but next year it’s going tell a different tale
I’ll keep you posted 🍪🍪
@i like cookies thanks man, indeed it has. We’ll all be glad to see the back of 2020 🤦🏻♂️ till next year 🤜🏻🤛🏻
This IS solo Volca Drum masterclass 101 🎉
Half way into this vid, and then bought the volca drum! Hyped!
Wow, learning so much about the machine just from trying to copy what you have done here. Love this thing.
Thanks joe!

best demo jam on youtube! great work!!!!
Dayumn! So freakin tasty. It's like a little all-in-one box! I'm seriously considering getting the Drum as my first Volca 👌🏼
Great job! My next Volca...
Awesome dude.
If Korg put this on the product page it would sell like hotcakes
Dope what this tiny machine is cappable to 👌
You make it sound great ❤
Thank you :)
By far the best demo of this device Iv seen,, bangin...
very good!!
Very impressive. Great jam.
Thank you Bartosz!
Inspired. I've only had my Drum and Modular a few weeks. Belting jam.
So much satisfying... hard to believe there’s not any fx between the Thing and the speakers :)
Was scared it was gonna end soon. 4 minutes in. Hell yeah.
Sweet use of the randomize! It really worked so well.
This seems like a lot of fun. I need one of these.
This has a great sound to it
Most impressive. 👌🏼🐜

This video made me buying this little thing. Arrives tomorrow, I'm so damn hyped. :D
You need to get commission from KORG - you just sold it

The heat the energy. Liam Howlett needs to get one of these!
