That's an amazing tune, thank you! I want to start my journey with some hardware to produce classic/deep house and minimal. What would you recommend as a starting point?
Thanks George! Volca is a good way to start but EleKtron machines and Korg Electribes are also very good for EDM music. It's up to you and your budget. Wish you the best : )
Well, for this track it could be the opposite, but... the volca keys have more bars (1/2 and 1/4) for longest patterns, step trigger for adding like arpeggio notes on the fly (like i did in the end of the track 05:03), a normal keyboard that for me works better on adding notes live and in Unison mode it sound as big as the Volca Bass. From the other side Volca bass sounds very similar to keys and the big cutoff knob works better for me also. :))
Great jam! How did you route your audio? I see the 3 track Volca mixer, did you consolidate two channels with summing cable or into another mixer or something else?
Holy shit
That Volca Drum on the fly - really dope performance
interesting that you use keys for bass and bass for leads. great sound.
@Caleb Niko for me I made in 14 minutes! Maybe you have low iq :0 there is also an app for that! Called 🧠
Opposite Day!! The Keys is doing the bass and the Bass is doing the leads! Fantastic track!
Creative use of the Volca!
Your volca jams are top notch! You know how to use your machines right :)
Glad you like it Lori :) Cheers

Very trippy!
I’ve just bought your entire discography from to date, thank you!
Thank you : ) Hope you enjoy it !
Two questions:
1) Which Korg unit is first in the signal chain, and which unit is last?
2) What role does the Jam Man play here?
Thanks!
Sooooooo beautiful jam!

Amazing sound, I wish that one day I'll be able to create tunes like these too :)
Always inspiring. Simple, melodic and evolving….. using the keystep? Why not the pro?

@@StefanTorto Thank you, very kind. Do you also mean the elektron sample/cycle?
@@Georg89 Yep : )
Nice sound!
Great jam! How do you connect all five units to the same volca mix?
Hi! 2 of the units are connected to the Mix, the others are send to a sub mixer (mackie) and back to the stereo in of the Volca Mix. Cheers!
Great jam!!! how do you use digitech looper? how long time does loop this device?.Thanks a lot!!.Cheers from Argentina!!
Hi! I use it to play/loop Pad sounds from a microKorg xl mostly. I don’t remember the storage time, but you will find it in the specks :) cheers!
Thanks stefan!!
If you ever pass trought Bosnia, you can be my guest. Big respect 👊

So... bassline on the Keys and melody on the Bass :) :) ?

@@StefanTorto cool.
Sorry aber da war ja schon Jean Michel Jarre vor 40 Jahren origineller gewesen!
(Und den empfand ich schon damals als den totalen Dünnbrettbohrer)
Great jam!
How did you route your audio? I see the 3 track Volca mixer, did you consolidate two channels with summing cable or into another mixer or something else?
Hi! I use a second mixer (a mackie Mix12 fx) to send everything there and from there stereo out to my sound card input. Cheers : )
