In slow motion, he starts picking off orcs riding wargs. With the music included, the scene is EPIC. THEN TO ADD TO IT, he does that reverse grip/flip onto the horse that Gimli is currently riding, flips in front of gimli and proceeds to be the rider of the horse..... All in all I bet you Gimli knew exactly the shit Legolas was about to pull to get on that horse. Team Chemistry = 100

I loved the Amon Hen scene in LOTR where the uruk rushes Legolas, making him too close to use his bow, so instead Legolas pulls an arrow, stabs him in the head, WITHDRAWS the arrow readies it in his bow and shoots it into the next oncoming uruk in less than 2 seconds. That is some Jason Bourne badass skill right there!!
I just noticed how Thorin saves Legolas from the orc in the river scene and Legolas saves thorin from the orc when thorin is on the edge of the cliff in the battle of the five armies
What makes you think Legolas couldn't have dealt with that orc himself? Thorin killed him first, but it definitely didn't look that Legolas was inch away from death.
I truly love that moment that Thorin decides to put his prejudices aside and save Legolas during the barrel chase. It's a wonderful portrayal of the best in him.

Jade Diaz Hawkeye is a really cool looking archer, but he doesn’t actually show any skill, which makes me think he didn’t have training like Orlando Bloom did. He actually learned a lot about how to shoot a bow & arrow. The arrows were cgi, but he still had to show proper form.

I've seen quite a few behind the scenes videos and Orlando Bloom is very coordinated and made a lot of these stunts look effortless when I know they had to be a challenge! It doesn't hurt that both Legolas and Thranduil are pure eye candy!
All the characters in Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit are gorgeous and impressive, but Legolas is even more than that - graceful and powerful the same time. :) Congratulations for the very good video!

He shoots that orc archer from lower ground over a chasm which probably spans about 500 metres, and he does it in less time than it takes any of the others to even clock where they're taking fire from.

Legolas the elf is an incredible fighter, skilled in swordsmanship and archery. He made swift killings in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. Elves like him are immortal, tall, little, young, and strong. I know them in some of my books in my world of fantasy filled adventures, magic, creatures, and fairies.
You immediately see the difference between The Hobbit and LOTR in this video. The Hobbit is very cartoonish with heavy and awful cgi. LOTR is a lot darker and more refined. Peter Jackson was given no chance when they dumped The Hobbit on him at short notice. It's a shame because it could have been great like LOTR.

Legolas the elf is an incredible fighter, skilled in swordsmanship and archery. He made swift killings in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. Elves like him are immortal, tall, little, young, and strong. I know them in some of my books in my world of fantasy filled adventures, magic, creatures, and fairies.
You immediately see the difference between The Hobbit and LOTR in this video. The Hobbit is very cartoonish with heavy and awful cgi. LOTR is a lot darker and more refined. Peter Jackson was given no chance when they dumped The Hobbit on him at short notice. It's a shame because it could have been great like LOTR.
