    Great video! Just got my C5. Definitely noticing a slight color cast in the warm direction with the VND. It's much less than any variable I've used before, but I wouldn't consider it "True" color like they claim. Adding +6 to the color temperature in Premiere seems to compensate close enough for my eyes.

      @@VictorLaforteza then its a horrible mattebox by design as we wont be able to use things like a donut for smaller photo lens and will make glass really hard to swap. I was really looking forward to get one as the true color vnd is super impressive.

    How does the FX3 handle IR pollution? Does the Nisi True Color filter negatively enhance IR pollution- especially in the blacks? Thanks!

    • @VictorLaforteza

    • @VictorLaforteza

      you can still use this matte box with the 24mm with it's included 67mm filter thread. The 10-20 you're gonna need a step up ring as it as a 62mm thread. hope that helps!

    Hi there victor im in the market for a VND filter and also a black mist filter. I do photograpy and videos just getting into the market now. My question is should i go for the Nisi Matte box starter pack or just an ordinary Nisi true colors VND filters. i own two sigma prime lenes and i really want a verstile filter for the both lens.

    • @VictorLaforteza
      @VictorLaforteza  Год назад +1

      I’d say just get the normal NiSi true colour VND! They’re smaller in package when you only do photos. The performance is the same just sizing is different!

    Hey Victor Thanks again for a cool video, Quite expensive but worth it I am sure. You never answered me on your other video? What was that Box thing on your gimbal? Never seen that before? Could you please let me know? You had it on a Gimbal that you had set up in portrait mode. Was it some kind of Lider focusing box? Thanks

    • @VictorLaforteza
      @VictorLaforteza  2 года назад +1

      Hey dude! Ya the square filters are the ones bringing the cost up. Well worth it for bigger cine lenses and a beefed up rig.
      I remember I did but maybe it didn’t go through!! Anyways it’s a pan tilt head. 2 axis gimbal pretty much. It’s the Zeapon pons PT. I bought it 3 months ago and just got it a few weeks back. Still testing it out. Hope it’s worth the money. I’ve had some people comment that it’s finicky.

  • @RickMcGovern

    Pretty new to cameras. You able to use it with 55 and 62mm lenses? I only have one 67mm lens, which is the only adapter it comes with that I can use. But I don't necessarily want to only use that lens, in fact, it's the lens I use least.

    • @VictorLaforteza
      @VictorLaforteza  10 месяцев назад

      yeah, you just need to get a step up ring! there should be some that is 55 to 82mm and you can attach the adapter that came with the mattebox

      @@VictorLaforteza Awesome, Thanks! I was hoping they just made them for the matte box instead of doing a step up ring, which I actually forgot, even though I just bought some for the other NiSi ND Filters I just bought.
      One more question, do you know what the True Color Rotating PL in the Cinema kit is used for? I probably don't need it, but was just curious why people would get it.
