UPDATE (Dec 3): Just got a PRODUCTION unit in and all the glitches that was present in the PRE-production unit has been fixed. The aperture ring is also fixed now (previously super loose). One new issue though is that the AF noise is a bit louder than the pre-production copy. It sounds like a small decepticon eating some metal kind of grind. Will be taking it to Japan to fully test it out. Optically, it's similar to the preproduction unit which was good to begin with. UPDATE 2 (Dec 17): Sometimes the AF bug still happens on the Sony A7Cii. Restarting the camera or reconnecting the lens fixes it. Some issues with the PRE-production unit in the video: 1.) There are some glitches using this camera with the A7Cii, and they seem very random. The first issue was with the infinity focus-it wasn’t going all the way out. I was trying to capture some buildings, but they were out of focus in both manual and autofocus modes. I was able to fix this by restarting the camera. 2.) Another glitch involves the aperture not opening up. When I tried changing the aperture using the ring or the camera settings, it stayed closed at f/16. This happened twice when switching between photo and video modes. Again, I was able to fix it by restarting the camera. 3.) Sometimes the AF wouldn't work. Reconnecting the lens or restarting the camera fixes it.
I'm also a7cii this tip of yours is very valuable, I've bought this lens but haven't had the chance to unpack and test it yet, after reading your experience with it I'm opting to return it. Thank you very much.
I’ve used the TTArtisan 75mm f/2 for a while now, and the sharpness and color rendering are incredible. I was tempted by the Sirui Aurora 85mm f/1.4, but I didn’t feel the extra aperture size justified the cost or bulk.😅
I have this TTartisan also😂...and i just went ahead and bought the Sirui lens this minute on amazon. My dad has his Sony Camera's also so I will give him the TTartisan 75mm.

@@limoodavid3421 I think the production copy is better but make sure to try it first before returning!
At this point, Meike 85mm f/1.4 is the better choice, and that one is sharper too (even rivals the top)
Would like to see a lot of video shots with the production version as like many photos as well
I'll compare with the Sony 85mm GM!!
