Amazing tips! Could you please also make a video about best 3rd-party watch straps (both plastic and metal) for all the various Galaxy 4 watch sizes? They are a nightmare to order online as the older straps in the same sizes aren’t always compatible with the present series. Have ordered a few and have had to return all of them.
I am too looking for the same especially the metal ones.
@@ravikiranppv48 You can pick some up from Titan showrooms. Spigen has the best metal straps (black/silver) but their usual 22mm metal strap for the Galaxy Watch (46mm) is not compatible with the Galaxy Watch 4 (46mm) at least.

Disabling animations and turning on wake watch with notification is a must! It restores near stock WearOS notification functionality.

Battery life in the galaxy 4 classic model is only 2 days the most while the previous model lasted for 4 days. The question now is how each change effects the battery life which is horabble from the start

If i forgot my mobile in my home and i went to my friend home and my GW4 connected to the wifi in his home.
In this case i, Will I be able to receive notifications and calls and make calls from the watch?
In the contact 'Widget' of Watch3, I was having all my favourite contacts followed by my entire contacts, whereas in the contact 'Tile' of Watch4, I could see option to add only 4 contacts. Any idea how to have the similar experience of Watch3 contact Widget?

I have a query regarding Samsung galaxy watch 4 LTE version of 44mm
I have someone coming from US. They are getting unlocked LTE version for me. Will e-sim work here in India if I have jio number??? I don't want to waste my money. And in case, if e-sim doesn't work, can I still use it as a bluetooth version with switching on Bluetooth to make/receive calls???

Hey man, can you please let me know about the battery on the LTE version... heard it sucks and I'm a little concerned 😟
It does suck. I have the silver 42mm Galaxy watch4 Classic (LTE) and it barely last just a few hours if you keep mobile data or GPS on. It can last about 1.5 days if you keep its use to the minimun, though.
Great informative video!!! Question for you so I have a pixel 6 and i just setup my watch 4...1 thing i am still trying to figure out is when i get text messages..it doesnt appear on my watch! When i scroll down to the msg app on the phone, i see a green dot..can u tell me how I can get the messages to appear on my phone?
On your watch, go to settings, then notifications and then under advanced settings, just look at the options. Turn them on if they are off

I am planning to buy GW 4 classic 46mm and i will use it as follows:
1. AOD will be off so when i raises my hand then i can see the watch.
2. Just receive notification for whatsapp, emails without reading them and SMS.
3. Just accept or reject the calls .
4. One or two times to measure heart rate and spo2.
5. Use normal face unanimated.
6. Intensity automatically.
7. Just connected to wifi.
8. Remove it before sleep.
In this case do you think i will get three days?
You will not...at most you will gain additional 3 or 4 hours. So at most 1.5 days.
And if you are going to limit your watch to this extent, why even spent so much to get the watch 4?
There are some entry level smartwatches that go on for 10-14 days in a single charge.
@@mobiscrub if you mean Huawei, then i can answer you that Huawei don't support reply for the notifications or to receive the notifications through wifi ( you must be close to your phone to be connected through Bluetooth).
Personally i tried to connect my note 20 altra to Huawei watch 3 but i could not do.
My advice to go with same phone manufacturer and don't go for different one
Also some RUclipsrs said could serve 2.5 days as they had updated software
See man, if you just somehow want to juice out 2.5 days, you can... But you'll have to worry too much.
Bed time mode . Power saving mode.. GPS off..aod off .. Sound and vibration off.. Notifications limited..i mean, whats the point then?
You're buying an expensive smartwatch and you're going to be giving up so much. Just get older galaxy watch active 2 or something, if you must buy samsung. That will last you 3 days for sure

The sillicone strips dont have the right angle toward the watch! I have to change them.
When I try to Reply to an email all I see are 4 Instant reply suggestions. My keyboard option doesn't show up to type a message. Why Not ? Thanks
There's no Samsung pay and google pay app in my watch 4. And I'm unable to see that in store too.

Any idea why I'm not getting some notifications on my watch 4? They work most of the day then just stop.
My watch is not in theater mode or do not disturb. It's set to notify me for SMS, FB and blink cameras. It sounds and vibrates like it should. Then all the sudden I see I have a missed notification. Sure enough They are coming in but no sound or vibration.
When I go into settings my vibration patterns won't even give a preview. No vibration at all. The watch was brand new. Only had it 7 days. 3 days of this I gave up and sent it back. They sent me a new one.
2 days later and same exact issue! Sometimes the notifications won't even get pushed to my phone.. On my old watch tried factory reset. Problem comes back. Tried reboot. Works for a bit then happens again.
I also have it set to notify me even when phone is in use. I thought maybe the watch thought if wasn't on my wrist so yesterday I tightened it down to the 2nd to last notch. Still ended up doing it by the end of the day.
Today it's 3rd down from last notch in the position I'd normally wear it. So far alerts have all been working as they should. But who knows how long that will last.
Just make sure that you put the wearable and watch plugin app on the do not sleep apps list. You can go into battery settings and figure it out
@@mobiscrub aahhh. I added Galaxy wearable app to the Never Sleep list. But the plug in isn't a separate app so it doesn't show up on the list of apps to add. I also checked to see if guy watch had any updates and it did. Hopefully all that it is the fix.

watch 4.... it has everything that the Watch 3 has and additionally has Wear OS so you get a much more comprehensive access to apps.
@@mobiscrub Oh thanks man, good thing I didn't have the appropriate budget when the Galaxy Watch 3 was the latest version, so now it's time to buy the Galaxy Watch 4 haha.

Regular version.
LTE version only makes sense if you plan to walk out ever without your phone and you want to use it for making calls or for GPS function.
Otherwise, it's just going to eat up more battery and die sooner.
Would recommend getting the BT version if you are always going to have your phone with you

I have a small wrist like you and 40mm version suits me better. Also active 2 20mm strips fit closer to the hand.

You need a Samsung phone to activate your watch. Using other brand will definitely give you nightmare experience that would make you wanted to return it .
Not true, I have an Asus Rog Phone 3 and it only took a couple of minutes to have everything paired and ready.
There're two sensors that won't work if you don't have a Samsung phone though.
