I played this when I was 8 out in the garage in the backyard by myself. The music, as you descended deeper and deeper into hell terrified the absolute shit out of me. I couldn’t bring myself to play it on some nights.
I like it a lot because its a story driven rpg. It was not made to be this mega "arpg" with complicated endless endgame mechanics making you feel like you are on a hamster wheel.
Remember when they first showed D4 gameplay people were crying how slow it looked? And it didn't even look slow... Yeah, the masses would shit on D4 even more it was actually slow paced.
Absolutely. Getting showered in colorful item explosions every few seconds and have the screen filled with insane attack effects all the time really does nothing for me in D4. The art style is literally the only thing they kinda nailed with D4.
It’s a matter of preference. The same thing can be understood by looking at music. I’m willing to bet you don’t drive around listening to 1920s jazz, but your great grandparents would say it’s superior to the music today.
Diablo one was trash. I enjoyed it for the hacking online and town killing everyone, but other than that boring as fuck. Diablo 2. PVP changed my life and is why I like these types of games. Id like if D4 took PVP seriously. I like the idea of finding my gear or trading for it to build a beast. And then truly test his limits against another decked out character. Not to mention every character having teleport made PVP faster than any other game I played, especially on a VT paladin, or a spider assassin
D1 will always be my favorite. There was just something unique about it.

you just had to be there.

Played d1 and d2 during classes in college it was worth it 😂
Visually reminds me of Heroes of Might and Magic 3
I played this for months on my Pentium @ 166mhz pc. It was mind blowing.
Slow pace builds up more thrills & chills and it make us learn to appreciate the game a lot more, than what Blizzard did to Diablo 4, imo.

This game is so fucking good. Played the beelzebub version recently and was shocked by how well it holds up
He has not yet met diablo. Holy moly I still have my heart rate when i. See it
Wish we could play it on the PS five
Love it ❤
What about nox.
Where do you get to play D1?
GOG
Gog is the official location per Blizzard. They even let them include an unreleased DLC which is just the cherry.
its kinda sad that diablo 1 copied this style from halls of torment
You must have never played Darkstone
i play on a private runescape classic server from time to time DM
pointless and boring.
@@lawlestest not sure how you can judge my idea of fun but what ever make you feel better fearless keyboard warrior
I wonder after playing this and D2 properly if he will finally.understand why D3 and 4 suck and shouldnt even carry the namesake.

I keep playing d2 every ladder reset and from time to time i come back to d1 and i do think d3 and d4 deserve the namesake.
D3 and d4 are acolyte star wars, namesake only
I love how u go from people loving diablo 1 to hating everything about diablo 4 lmao diablo 1 looks terrible in terms of graphics and gameplay
Yeah, people like to overreact as fuck. Personally i like all diablo games, except hellfire, fuck hellfire (?) lol
not having fun in d4 season 5 ptr and playing other games = hating diablo 4? lol
He has never hated everything on D4, WHAT? Dude has said time and time again it's getting better and better and now is even considered good
tell us you're a graphics gamer without telling us you're a graphics gamer .... graphics dont make a game bud. you'll learn one day.

TLDR; he likes pvp and complaining about games that aren't based around pvp
Found the Adderall kid. Slow=bad, fast=good.
It's definitely dated, but when it came out it was pretty much the best thing ever
@@aarondimoff5180 concerta, Adderall was later in life.
