    Regarding the Diabetes Type 1 issue; I got diagnosed in August 2022 (emergency room due ketoacidosis), and after finding the vegan community, Ive gone 100% raw plant based (no junkfood). After discovering Brooke a few weeks ago I started with smoothies. Since Ive been plant based since January, Im quite sensitive, but only after a week of smoothies (80% veggies, and a mix of rasperry, blueberries, apples and the odd banana)+high level of hydration (water), stomach have a very full feeling, and no issues with gas etc. So I dont feel hungry, and I workout 1 hour every day (mountain walks) AND my insulin dose requirements seems to be falling. Even tho Im increasing the volume of veggies+fruits, the insulin intake is stable/slight decline, but compared to the amount of food volume consumed, its decreasing in absolute terms. Breakfast is usually Chia + Oats + blueberries.
    My C-peptides indicate that my pancreas are still producing some insulin, but after watching Roy Taylor on the saturated fat issue for both liver and pancreas, it will be intresting to see if the smoothies helps out. My energylevels are really high too. I feel great! I havent approached Brooke for a Type 1 protocol tho.

    The reason I do need to concern myself with how much food I am ingesting is, I from a very early age I watched my mother eat to Soothe her. She fed me and encouraged me to eat if I was upset. She sadly died at a young age of obesity related illnesses. I must be extremely conscious that I don’t eat when I am afraid, lonely, angry etc. I share this because I know I’m not alone. Some of us absolutely must be cognizant of the amounts we are digesting. Dr. Goldner thank God is a joyful woman with a happy marriage beautiful children that seem to adore her and vice versa. not that that necessarily excludes a person from being an emotional eater however having a loving family who supports one etc. certainly makes a big difference in life, huge!

    What about oxilates on a regular basis in the kale? Isn’t that bad for the kidneys?

    • @Goodbyeeveryonehere
      @Goodbyeeveryonehere Год назад

      If you didn't watch one of her other q and a's where she explains this, there's nothing to worry about with oxalates, there are more in a meat diet than there are in high veg diet. Also, kale is fine, she recommends not having spinach if you have already had kidney issues, or if you're at risk. Otherwise you can even have spinach.

    Thank you! I struggle with well-meaning, enablers and full self-control. I’ve added hyper nourishing for close to a year and what a difference it’s made in my weight and immune system.
    I’ve been using cauliflower mostly for six months because I struggled with sinus issues from spinach. I am not a big salad person, but I absolutely love drinking the smoothies at our cruciferous.
    I do add pure cacao powder to put it over the top. Thank you Dr. G for making these videos that keep me inspired and encourage me to keep going.

    Can anyone tell me where I find her “protocol” please ?

  • @steventan6394
    @steventan6394 Год назад +1

    1. Dear Dr G, Thank you for sharing your protocol so generously; to reach worldwide the best is to do a trial and then it will be treatment for every single patient. Every single doctor will have to suggest this to their patient then. Has this been done/could you do it please. Thanks!
    2. Good day Doc. Is it safe to take raw vegetables? Can steam/ Blanche a little? SIster in law died of Meliodosis. She had Myasthenia Gravis. Some relatives immuno compromised as one suffers from Lupus. Fearful to take or feed others including kids raw food including flax seeds as they are grown in soil. Help! What do u say and advise. Thanks!
    3. Am a Stroke survivor on 80 mg of Plavix. Dr says cannot take half that pill nor stop it. Google advised not to take flax if on Plavix. Can I take flax and how much? Google says safe to take 2 tablespoons daily for normal people. Taking 3 teaspoons since beginning of this year but how do I know it is safe. Any tests? Thanks!
    4. Avacado has omega 3. Can replace flax with avocado? Thank you and God Bless you!

    • @saved_by_grace7919
      @saved_by_grace7919 Год назад

      She says don’t worry about lectins in other videos. Oxolates are not an issue unless you’ve had kidney stones before she just says don’t use spinach if you’ve had one but if you’ve never had kidney stones, spinach will not cause them. She said that in another q and a

    Your protocol about killed me bad advice, I have RA and tried your method and lost all my weight, 176 down to 136 and I’m 6’-1” and swelled up worse then I was before I started. I recently went carnivore and my weight going back to normal and 90% of my pain and swelling are gone. Brookes protocol was the worst thing I’ve tried.

    I am confused about the claims from people on carnivore claiming all their symptoms have disappered.Any thoughts doctor?

    • @saved_by_grace7919
      @saved_by_grace7919 Год назад

      She said it’s because they took out all the junk and it’s basically like an extreme elimination diet, but horrible long term because it makes you insulin resistant. Even though blood sugar is stable while carnivore, if they try to eat a carb their body will struggle because it’s so clogged with saturated fat. She’s helped people transition from carnivore to her protocol with success.

    Overdose on machine oils and farm grown kale & brocolli + force riped bananas or other empty fruits ?! When did we evolve to thrive on greens in our history ?! Olive oil, maybe but even that is not a direct link to anything 😊

      @@saved_by_grace7919 So we're supposed to swoop green smoothies all-day long and eat enormous salads and seed oils initially meant tor machines + mandatory superfoods and supplements?! How's that in any way shape or form natural or even logical ? The long term carnivores we have seen all throughout our evolution... Not so much greenevores or frugivores 🙂 And please, pretty please do not quote any "nutritional science of any kind" Just look at our evolution as the only irrefutable and unbiased proof and work from there please 🙂
